I used a stock style key that i already had programmed, i took the little cylinder receiver that talks to the pats in the car and glued it on to the circuit board on the flip key.
Hey there!!! thanks for watching !!, I also had super 40s when i first got the car, I honestly hated the tiny sound of the Flowmasters, but if its your daily driver id probably recommend just going to a straight though muffler, maybe a magna flow or a borla bottle type muffler , straight pipes are great at first and the sound is amazing but they drone aaalot!! Also its really raspy, it maybe better for you since you have a h pipe but with the x pipe the rasp from 2k-3500 rpms is pretty bad, I don’t regret it though its also no longer my daily driver. Hope this helps !!
@@fernsoza it is currently my daily driver for the summer only and my commute is very short. I think I’m going to try out straight pipes to see if I like it, if not then I’ll just get straight through muffler.
Also my other two videos have more highway driving in them if you want to get an idea. Im sure you’ll love it though I certainly still do regardless of the cons !!
On my recommended but your 2v sounds good, I got a 3v and it sounds good, you should install your headers it’ll make it growl more, you should make a video of the outside pov when doing a pull having someone recording you
Thanks so much for watching!!, thats a great idea i actually planned to make a video specifically about my exhaust before i throw on the headers and after. Will definitely try to get someone to record the outside.
Yoo, thanks for watching!!! The car is pretty simple its basic bolt ons for now, pretty much everything you can think of besides long tubes, i have big plans going to get the top end built, going with some ported heads and some custom grind cams. The shifter as of now is a pro 5.0 shifter base with a steeda tri ax handle, these cars are super fun, im glad you got another one i love this car!!!
@@fernsoza I just bought of set of the Howard’s rattler cams, they are direct drop in with no springs or anything and they sound vicious bro, I had comp cams stage 2’s in my old 2v and my Howard’s chop so much more. I’d go with trick flows heads, OEM ported is good I had them on my old motor it was high compression NA build but the trick flows are just so much better. I can’t wait to see your plans with this car newedges have been getting more and more love and I love it 🫡👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

yo how'd you get your key programed? any tips or did you get it done by a professional?
I used a stock style key that i already had programmed, i took the little cylinder receiver that talks to the pats in the car and glued it on to the circuit board on the flip key.
Hey, would you recommend straight pipes? I currently have Flowmaster super 40s and H pipe no cats. How is it when normally driving?

You will love it im sure, going from the super 40s to a straight pipe will be great, you’ll get a much more crisp and clear sound, good luck !!
