Thank goodness your video popped up on my feed. I've been looking for a pressure washer for awhile now. I just couldn't pull the trigger or just been procrastinating the Krazler. And everyone's complaint about the, Sun Joe and other Ryobis, was that they don't automatically stop with the trigger. Oh thank you so much!!
@@imjoshv so do you do auto detailing ? If so you should have showed how to hook it up to a actual water tank to show how it works . Or do you use people water hose when you go their house ?
@@M5M4_hdz sorry for the late response. LMAO, I just used it for the first time last week, yes I just unboxed it for you last week. It’s been sitting in the box in my garage for over a year, lol. @@imjoshv Hi Josh, I just picked this pressure washer and purchased your foam cannon. My question is do I need to replace the orifice (the spare one you provide) or the one in the cannon good to use?
Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

Just wanted to say thank for the super informative video. I've been wanting to get one and your video helped a lot. I know this is not rocket science but you def. made finding all the items in your video easy. Thanks for the tip as well on switching to the 1.1 mm orifice for the foam cannon, makes total sense....Take care.
I keep hearing this is the sweet spot psi for detailers its quiet and portable and no nuisance with gas or loud engine noise and the fact that the short guns can be added if preferred and change the orifice as well for more foam from foam cannon with this machine. I will get one soon and start a side gig :3
Chose this one over the 1600 just seemed more practical with the wheels and cable mounting features .... well worth the extra couple of bucks thanks for the vid really helped
I have a really nice Gas powered Pressure washer, however I got tired of using it on the weekend to wash my car, starting it and stopping it so it isn't on all the time.. I actually saw this on sale for 100 bucks and picked it up.. Love the fact that it is super quiet.. I am guessing my neighbors are loving that as well
Thanks man, unfortunately I just bought a pressure washer, but was looking at how to use it a quick connect gun and hoses. You are the best. Really starting to get into detailing, and your videos are rockstar. So glad I stumbled across your channel.
I just bought this today with the Armour all foam cannon. What fun it was to wash mine and my mom’s car with Maguires Ultimate Wash n wax!!! We’ve never had such clean shiny cars!!!!!! I’m subscribing since I washed all your pressure washer videos lol
I know 1900 is overkill for car washing (vs 1600) but I really like cage, handle, wheels, soap container, and color of the 1900 enough that it's worth the extra $50 (vs $100 for the 1600). I saw both your reviews and thank you for helping me decide on which to get. I have the gas Ryobi 2900 and it is great, but way to powerful for car washing, and my standard garden hose isn't strong enough. A small pressure washer like this seems almost necessary for washing and detailing.
If you have the 2900 psi unit and you like it you can actually just change the nozzle and reduce your psi!! Im posting a video tonight about another pressure washer. Its rated at 1700 but by changing the nozzle to a 3.0 orifice and 40degree i get it down to 850psi and increase the gpm which is good for detailing cars! Check out the video that should be up in about an hour! The nozzles the ryobi machines come with have a ver small orifice nozzle which gives it the psi rating, but you can alter it if you need!
You are the MAN! I Stumbled on your latest Sunjoe pressure washer video because I was ready to buy it. After seeing you've made tons of pressure washer videos, I had a binge day on your video's and settled on the Ryobi 1900. Man what a great machine! Compact, lightweight for an old guy lolo and great power to clean my patio. You saved me $50 easy and with that money bought the Ryobi 12inch surface attachment.I have your recommended powerwasher gun on order too!. I hope you know you've made a huge contribution to all of us looking for powerwashers! Great informative videos. All the best! Anthony
@@imjoshv The 12 inch surface cleaner works GREAT! The key words when using it is. " move slow". You'll get streaking if you move too fast. I previously had an AR pressure washer that lasted me 9 years and their 10 inch surface cleaner. The Ryobi blows it away. Also important for your video watchers to note, Ryobi makes an upgraded surface cleaner BUT it's only for use on more powerful gas models which is stated on the box . It's beefier but the electrics struggle to power it as per other videos I watched. All in all the Ryobi is a winner and without your video's , I would have past it by. Many thanks again. I had a 2900psi ryobi gas washer. Pump ended up blowing on it. I gave it away. Just bought this setup. This thing is perfect. Very compact. Weighs 21 lbs. decent power as well My old one needed its own spot in the shed. This thing can just get thrown on top of something.

Just bought a home and the first thing I got is this washer. Going to try as soon as I move in. Also going to order all those extras in the description.
What’s interesting to me is the 1600psi unit and the 1900psi as well as another unit all come out to 1900psi when connected to a gauge so I looked into it and they all have the same size 13amp motor. Main differences is add ons like a spot to hang your gun, hose and also wheel upgrades. I started with the $180 one and traded it in for the $99 one bc it was the same power and also the $99 went on sale for $68 only about two days after I bought the $180 one for $149 on sale which was good but not as good of a deal as the other. Home Depot has the deals!
harbor freight had their cheap pressure washer on sale for $70 so after years of only gas I picked one up. Is the cord a pain in the ass YEP. the accessories in the box are junk.. So a tried all my gas accessories, long hoses, turbo nozzles, broom and surface cleaners.. WOW it actually cleans stuff....amazing thank you so much for the tips on foam cannons... I purchased one about 4 years ago on amazon for $16. I changed it to a 1.1 nozzle and some snowball.. van looked like I used shaving cream on it and NONE of it ran off.

Question, I just boughtnthis exact model, and in the paperwork, it says to use a pump protector, have you ever used it and if so, do you recommend a specific kind to use? Great video.
8 got the same pressure with the same hose and short gun. It works great. I got the Amazon Basic Foam Cannon with the pink soap for chemical guys and it work great. Really happen with result and yes I changed the used the 1.1 on the cannon.
Very nice video and informative as well. Just would like to ask you on 8:34 you used what kinda material, the name ? Also later you used foam , name of foam ? Looking forward to watch some more videos from you. Keep it up!!!!!!!!!
Great review, but.. I would like it better if you had demonstrated how the stock soap dispenser works. You're primarily focused on the upgrades. Upgrades are cool and helpful, but you also gotta keep in mind this is a budget option for consumers.. they're looking for something that can do it all without additional components. Show us how it works.. thanks
I set up everything the exact way you have it and I even bought the linked products from the video but my in line pressure gauge only reads 1,600psi when the included 15 degree nozzle is on.
I also have this problem. Not sure why. Also when using a 40 degree nozzle with 2.5 Orfice I get 800-900psi. I thought I might have to get a smaller Orfice but I feel Ike that drops the gpm drastically.
Thanks alot greatly appreciated im gonna use the links to order when I'm ready this is exactly what I was looking for great video 📹 will be subscribing.
It’s still only 1.2 gpm which is low for most foam cannons unless u switch out the orifice on the foam cannon to increase incoming pressure. Thanks Matt
Nice video, I actually have a craftsman gas power washer but I can hook up my hose to a little electric 1300 psi washer and use my same gun ad hose and find myself using electric one more because of noise. I'm going to look into this washer for sure. Thanks for the video!
The water source hose was leaking 7:43. Is that because the hose wasn't on tightly or a flaw with the Ryobi female connector? Looks a bit sketchy when I see it leaking like that.
Great vid!! Just bought this to clean mildew off my deck and patio stones. Do you recommend any nozzle tips for better removal pressure for these types of applications?
I think the 2000PSI back pack style is better in my opinion. I actually have that. I don't remember the model number. My brother has this and he loves this so ... that's that.
Do you have a suggestion for a foam cannon and the solution you put in the foam cannon. Also, the hose is not available is their another hose you suggest?
love this review- going to purchase soon. I’m starting a mobile car detail business out of my old pick up truck and am looking for air compressors for the interior, do you have any recommendations? appreciate it
I have this same pressure washer and only have the original tips that come with it. What orifice size tips should I get for optimum use? The included 15 degree tip is too much pressure but I don’t know what size it is for reference.
I have an 1800 psi and 1.2 gpm portable Ryobi unit with similar pressure hose in this video. I ordered M22-14 mm QD from twinkle star but apparently it does not fit into the Ryobi pressure hose. I remember from your other videos you mentioned M22-14 mm QD is compatible with Ryobi unit. At 8:55 minute of this video, it looks like you were able to connect the QD into the pressure hose. Could you please let me know what size of the M22 QD you used 15 or 14 mm? Thank you very much.
@@imjoshv Thanks a lot for your reply. I eventually figured that out by purchasing a cheap electronic caliper. It took little more effort to get the connection finally. Now I have almost everything you recommended - Mckillans sprayer gun, Uberflex Hose, Twinkle Star QC/QD, M Mingle 360 swivel fitting, Ridge Washer 1.1 mm orifice. I however ordered tool daily's foam lance. By the way, I am excited to use them in this weekend. By the way, do you use Teflon tape for any of your thread connection?
What can I do to make it portable with a good long lasting battery set up? Detailing on the go.....and can I also attach the self syphon hose? Get water from a 5 gallon bucket
Was going to use mine to do lawn treatment also.Has anyone else used these to apply liquid lawn treatments?--looks like it could make that a lot easier to apply since you could cover a larger area quickly.
I think as long as you do it with a foam cannon it should work. I wouldn’t want the chemical in the onboard tank cause then it goes through the whole hose
Have a quick disconnect issues from the garden to pressure washer connection - went to HD to get a quick disconnect and when the pressure washer pressurizes the disconnector locks up and starts to leak and I have to disassemble everything - do quick disconnect have a pressure safety - if so what quick disconnect do you recommend from the garden hose to my ryobi pressure washer
Yea the pressure will lock them up. Just release the pressure at the wand and then everything should disconnect with no issues!! These are the quick connects i use: amzn.to/2SFKPhX
Thanks for the review! I got this for my birthday last week and tried it out on the driveway. Bought the 12" surface cleaner for it and it was so satisfying to clean the driveway. lol I liked the foam cannon so ordered that from your link and most of the other stuff. Does it matter what cleaner you put in the foam cannon?
I'm also looking into making the jump for this ryobi unit with the foam gun. Would work perfect for my camaro and I can finally start saving some money taking it to detail shops and wash tubs.

Do you know if it works with a gravity feed water tank or does it need mains water pressure to work, the Kranzle does work with gravity feed tanks.
Yep it should work with a gravity fed system!
Thanks alot greatly appreciated im gonna use the links to order when I'm ready this is exactly what I was looking for great video 📹 will be subscribing.
Thanks max! Glad it helped
I want something exactly like this but With the ability to spray hot water or steam .... What would you recommend?
I think for a unit with total stop, 1900 psi and small footprint is a great product tbh!
Do you need the quick connects if you aren’t planning on using the pressure gauge? Thank you.
is this the bangbus?
haha
It’s still only 1.2 gpm which is low for most foam cannons unless u switch out the orifice on the foam cannon to increase incoming pressure.
Thanks
Matt
Use pump sprayers for soap applications .saves water usage from your tank and gives better foam results..
Nice video, I actually have a craftsman gas power washer but I can hook up my hose to a little electric 1300 psi washer and use my same gun ad hose and find myself using electric one more because of noise. I'm going to look into this washer for sure. Thanks for the video!
Glad it helped
The water source hose was leaking 7:43. Is that because the hose wasn't on tightly or a flaw with the Ryobi female connector? Looks a bit sketchy when I see it leaking like that.
Yea that was my fault. It was actually a hose that I had replaced the end on and it was leaking from there... not from the connection to the unit.
Thinking about buying this for $40 because of the small size!
Great vid!! Just bought this to clean mildew off my deck and patio stones. Do you recommend any nozzle tips for better removal pressure for these types of applications?
The ones it comes with should be great the 15 degree as well as the power nozzle!
I think the 2000PSI back pack style is better in my opinion. I actually have that. I don't remember the model number. My brother has this and he loves this so ... that's that.
Not finding where you linked the purple/black gun but I would like to get it
Do you have a suggestion for a foam cannon and the solution you put in the foam cannon. Also, the hose is not available is their another hose you suggest?
Great review! Idk if it's been asked , but does this pull water from a water tank ( 60gal) ?
Thank you so much for the great videos. And keeping it real. You are awesome. Love all your videos. Have learn a lot. Thank you god bless.
Thanks for the kind words Carlos!!! I’ll keep it coming!
Would i need a water pump if im connecting it to a 26 gallon water tank?
love this review- going to purchase soon. I’m starting a mobile car detail business out of my old pick up truck and am looking for air compressors for the interior, do you have any recommendations? appreciate it
What is the pressure read when using ryobi surface clean 12”?
That’s a good question... I’ve never used one but I’ll try to look into it
In your video you are using an attachment bottle for the snow foam cannon. So how come you aren't using the built-in soap tank?
I have this same pressure washer and only have the original tips that come with it. What orifice size tips should I get for optimum use? The included 15 degree tip is too much pressure but I don’t know what size it is for reference.
Nice video dude. Thanks
Can you please review the Sun Joe SPX2688-MAX , bought this from Walmart
I have an 1800 psi and 1.2 gpm portable Ryobi unit with similar pressure hose in this video. I ordered M22-14 mm QD from twinkle star but apparently it does not fit into the Ryobi pressure hose. I remember from your other videos you mentioned M22-14 mm QD is compatible with Ryobi unit. At 8:55 minute of this video, it looks like you were able to connect the QD into the pressure hose. Could you please let me know what size of the M22 QD you used 15 or 14 mm? Thank you very much.
The Ryobi uses an m22x14 connection. for the Quick Connect part make sure its a 3/8
@@imjoshv Thanks a lot for your reply.
@@mesbahahmed8855 i sometimes use teflon tape.. but for the hose where its an m22 fitting. it has a o-ring so no need for tape there!
@@imjoshv Thank you again so much. Have a great weekend.
What can I do to make it portable with a good long lasting battery set up? Detailing on the go.....and can I also attach the self syphon hose? Get water from a 5 gallon bucket
I don’t think it will work from a5 gallon bucket... as for a battery, you would need something pretty powerful because it draws a lot of amps
So should I use the yellow nozzle for washing my car?
Are you pre washing with the 15 deg nozzle (1900 psi) and rinsing with the 40 deg nozzle (800 psi)?
I typically do everything with the 40 degree 2.5mm orifice nozzle amzn.to/3d2p1Yg
Have you reviewed the Bosch 1700 Aquatak? Rated at 1740psi and 1.59gpm
What soap do you recommend for the foam cannon?
Subbed. Good content
Thanks for the sub!
How do you think 3/8" diameter 50ft hose would change the psi and gpm?
Was going to use mine to do lawn treatment also.Has anyone else used these to apply liquid lawn treatments?--looks like it could make that a lot easier to apply since you could cover a larger area quickly.
I think as long as you do it with a foam cannon it should work. I wouldn’t want the chemical in the onboard tank cause then it goes through the whole hose
What’s the liquid sprayed on tire? Is there a link to it anywhere?
I like the purple gun
Have a quick disconnect issues from the garden to pressure washer connection - went to HD to get a quick disconnect and when the pressure washer pressurizes the disconnector locks up and starts to leak and I have to disassemble everything - do quick disconnect have a pressure safety - if so what quick disconnect do you recommend from the garden hose to my ryobi pressure washer
Yea the pressure will lock them up. Just release the pressure at the wand and then everything should disconnect with no issues!! These are the quick connects i use: amzn.to/2SFKPhX
Perfect timing. What’s the name of the tire spray and soap you used in the foam cannon. You just got a new subscriber nice work
Thanks! It’s should be linked in the description but it’s mr pink
Would this be better for car detailing or the greenworks 2000 psi 1.2 gpm
Thanks for the review! I got this for my birthday last week and tried it out on the driveway. Bought the 12" surface cleaner for it and it was so satisfying to clean the driveway. lol I liked the foam cannon so ordered that from your link and most of the other stuff. Does it matter what cleaner you put in the foam cannon?
Awesome! Make sure you change out the orifice in the foam cannon to to get maximum foam!!! The 1.1mm orifice is linked in the description
Honestly most car soaps will foam!!! I use mr pink from chemical guys but even the super cheap stuff should foam
IMJOSHV - Car Detailing and Reconditioning Tips oh yeah, I ordered that 1.1mm also lol I liked your setup! Thanks for the info.
I'm also looking into making the jump for this ryobi unit with the foam gun. Would work perfect for my camaro and I can finally start saving some money taking it to detail shops and wash tubs.
Great review! Could you also post gpm for different nozzles?
Great suggestion!
Which nozzle do you use for auto detailing the 15 degree or a 40? I have the same one and have used the 15 degree on my trex decking and it seems to work ok
Why is your gauge 3/8 connect when the gun and hose a 1/4 connect. Do you use an adapter?
Do you recommend getting a quick connect for the pressure washer hose? If so any recommendations
i like to have them! I use these amzn.to/2SFKPhX
What's the name of the blue one you're using?
