Funny enough, I took a few break dance lessons in '96. This whole vamypre/erotica Spiel would have been a whole lot more jazzed up and B-boy friendly, but I tore a tendon while mastering headspins.
Cradle of Filth has been a before and after in my adolescence, an extraordinary musical group, being a band from England based on Norwegian black metal, it is respectable and very friendly to its audience. Greetings from Argentina!
We once drove to a city with our class that was 3 hours away. When we drove back home at like 5 pm (we have been on the road at 7 am and 4 hours in that city, in summer of last year). We were all tired and everyone fell asleep. When we were in an city near our hometown a girl who sit in front of me talked gibberish with the girl I sat next. I was extremely tired and wanted them to shut up. I played this song really hard with headphones, I really was obsessed with it. When they heard it they stopped talking. I was glad lol. Great times. COF may be a band I only like some songs of, but I adore their lyrics about religious events and beliefs.

this is kind of the most cult cof video for me, because it is really original...the camera perspective on dani, the start with the cleaning lady (the choice is very original i think) and the whole plot...I can watch this after over 10 years dude
@@Shooterpirat that's the name... I couldn't remember the name of the movie. Ya its pretty bad. That movie was also written after the crimes of marqui du sade. He was the one who wrote the book.
I always loved Dani's vocals, his vocal cadences, and his lyrics. I love how he can change the dynamics of his voice. He has that demonic, almost gothic deep speaking voice, he has the deep gutturals, and then he has those ghostly shrieks. My favorite vocal he does is the dirtier disgusting mid tone he uses as if he is spewing the lines in a hateful way in disgust. It's like a more mid-register high scream vocal with his actual voice mixed in, but it sounds like he is almost perverting the music which goes along with the vibe of the band. I can't even explain it, but Cradle is the only the band that has that specific vocal. His high screams almost have a false note over the top of them making it sound even more evil and haunting. It's really noticeable in their live shows. This is no insult to Dani, but if you just listen to the vocals without seeing, or knowing anything about the band, I would think it would have been a woman doing the highs and mid vocals, and a male vocalist doing the deeper tones. I would literally think that there were multiple vocalists in this band which is a compliment to Dani's versatility and overall vision for the bands style. In my opinion Cradle of Filth are better than any of the Scandanavian, or American Black Metal bands. That's just my opinion of course. I also love how a lot of their songs have female vocals, or spoken word vocals in the British accent which also adds a really cool, unique texture to the sound of the band.
it's true, this is the most colorful voice in metal, this man operates a whole orchestra of voices, that's why he is a BM legend. Real vampire vocals. I like that he's not afraid to experiment with his voice, he actually squeezed everything out of his voice. I personally like the instrumental aspect, really this band offers us great instrumentals. I bled on a pivotal stretch
Like a clockwork Christ
Bears sore stigmata, bored
And as I threw Job, I drove
Myself to a martyred wretch
To see if I drew pity
Or pretty litanies from the Lord
So the plot sickened
With the coming of days
Ill millennia thickened
With the claret I sprayed
And though they saw red
I left a dirty white stain
A splintered knot in the grain
On Eden's marital aid
So glad for the madness
So glad for the madness
I walked the walls naked to the moon
In Sodom and Babylon
And through rich whores and corridors of the Vatican
I led a sordid Borgia on
I read the Urilia text
So that mortals wormed
As livebait for the dead
And as I broke hope, I choked
Another Pope with manna peel
Dictating to DeSade
In the dark entrails of the Bastille
And as He wrote, I smote
A royal blow to the heads of France
And in the sheen of guillotines
I saw others, fallen, dance
I was an incurable
Necromantic old fool
A phagadaena that crawled
Drooling over the past
A rabid wolf in a shawl
A razor's edge to the rule
That the stars overall
Were never destined to last
So glad for the madness
I furnaced dreams, a poet, foe of sleep
Turning sermons with the smell
On Witchfinder fingers
Where bad memories lingered
Burning, as when Dante
Was freed to map Hell
I sired schemes and the means
To catch sight of the seams
And the vagaries inbetween...
And midst the lips and the curls
Of this cunt of a world
In glimpses I would see
A nymph with eyes for me
Eyes of fire that set all life aflame
Lights that surpassed art
In sight, that no intense device of pain
Could prise their secrets from my heart
I knew not Her name
Though her kiss was the same
Without a whisper of shame
As either Virtue or Sin's
And pressed to Her Curve
I felt my destiny swerve
From damnation reserved
To a permanent grin...
So glad for the madness
😁👌😉
