At least NOT regretting picking up that Micro Machines Metro City set because it made me have a second cameo, this time in your top 10 review, while piking up that blimp 😀 cheers & next time I'll say hi !
What an amazing year mate, you found some incredible pieces for your collection. I was happy to add Gold TMNT 5th anniversary, shredder mobile and completing my loose Street shark collection, regrets none, very happy with what iv done and added to our collection. Great videos Ed, great year of content. 👊🤙
Enjoyed following your toyhunting stories Ed! My top 3 list of toys i found this year to add to my collection: 1. Boxed The Lost World dino tracker adventure set. 2. Chaos Effect Omega Bull t.rex. 3. Dr. snare mint on card.
Great Video Ed. My top finds I found in the wild were a near complete Robo skull just missing one foot, 4 boxed / sealed Turtle full sized skateboards and recently a Boxed G1 Megatron 1984 VGC. 🙌🏼 🎉
Excellent pick ups,Ed! I cant wait to see what another year of toy hunting will bring And dont think I didn't see that Sharp Hand Joe up there, a man of culture I see lol
Awesome vid as always! You had some amazing pickups this year man! My Top 3 additions to the collection are: 1. Dragun & Raydeen 24" Shogun Warriors from local facebook marketplace 2. Trapjaw Ripster & Hydrofire Jab from local facebook marketplace 3. White Blaster Beetleborg from a local game/toy store Always love watching your vids! Hoping to get my hands on a Muscle Mutt next year! 💯
@@EdsRetroGeekOut Those were my first two shogun warriors and I paid $100 a piece for them! I'm wanting to find a godzilla in good condition like yours but it's been tough, at least around my area in the midwest. Street sharks and extreme dinos are my main focus right now! Love em! 👌
@@EdsRetroGeekOut Theres a LJN line from 1984 that's not too hard to find. They also recently did a ReAction run for the old toys. I'm currently after the McFarlane toys run from the new movies.
I bought one of those fan club letters off eBay although this was years ago. I don’t know if it’s complete but I got a bandana with it and I collected all four head bandanas just to have them because they are really cool. I know what you mean Ed I remember these as a kid but never joined the fan club and received one.
Nice list Ed. My top 3 are:- 1) A prototype of Batarang Batman for the Batman Forever line. Never thought I'd own something like this. Got it for an insanely low price on eBay (£30). 2) The Triple Action vehicle from the Batman Forever line - this is a really fun vehicle that you can convert into the Batmobile, Batwing and Batboat. Shipped this from America which made the price double but it was worth it to finally own it. That was the last piece I needed from the Kenner line. 3) Toxic Crusaders Toxie and Headbanger - picked both these up loose at a local toy fair. Seller gave me a good deal. Never really knew about this line until I saw it on your channel so thanks for the inspiration!
The TMNT fan club package and store display shelf are my Absolute Favorites. TMNT was the last toy franchise that still really managed to hook me before entering that phase of having outgrown your toys (back then that is of course, haha). And if there was one thing TMNT managed to do on quite the Epic scale, it was immersing us, its target audience, completely into its world. Not just by way of its Awesome toyline, no, but also by way of the tons of miscellaneous merch that helped make the immersion complete.
Hmm.. 1.) Gobot Monsterous. Finally pulled the trigger on this long wanted combiner in nice condition. 2.) Official Clash of the Titans poster magazine. It's rare for us to find same year merch for this movie so had to grab it. 3.) Between Guzzle to finally finish of the Trio of sparkbots. I'd had the other two from childhood or a A1 Oversized Knock off of Gobot Fightor
1. transformers G1 (Europe) Obliterators Clench complete in a thriftshop 2. Madballs faul shot at a garage sale 3. i've been going for power rangers lately, so a box full of them for a great deal made the inner child in me happy.
Awesome finds 💜 I really like watching your videos. I live in Germany. I'm more into girls toys. So my absolutely grail finds this year are the Berry Happy Home from Strawberry Shortcake 🍓 and the UK exclusive Care Bear Cousin Playful Heart 🐵 I've never thought I will ever own a BHH. I found it in Italy. I'm so berry happy 🍓💜
It’s been great following you again this year. Thanks as always for the awesome content. My top 5 pick ups this year would be at no 5 - Mega Bloks Metalons (mainly because I never knew they existed and they have so many nods to Microman and Takaras Magnemo line. No 4 - Micronauti Emperor No 3 - Fantanauti Wiscid No 2 - Micronauti Red Falcon and No 1 because I never thought I’d own one - TAKARA Magnemo Machine Saurer (no accessories but he still had his mini figure in the cockpit which was amazing). I also picked up a Magnemo Gakeen which I’ve been trying to pick up for ages. A crappy year in many other ways but a great year of collecting!
The Street Sharks packaging looks really great. Unfortunately, the big brands today only have boring packaging designs. In our childhood you could always discover something cool on the packaging that amazed you - or showed you directly what you want to have next. Krusher looks somehow in the crotch...the longer you look, the weirder it gets for a toy xD
1. 84 rancor for 8$ 2. Transformers pretenders blood complete 3.not plastic, but, 1970 marvel conan the barbarian #1 Thanks for the fun content, few compare with quality and quantity.
Awesome pick-ups! My top 3 for the year... 1. *Tackleberry* loose. Police Academy is a hard line to get in Straya. So when I saw him in the wild at a toy fair I may have squealed like a schoolgirl. Bonus: at $20, he was prolly my cheapest pick-up of the year, lol. Now I want him carded. 2. *Action Aussie Force* carded. Aussie action figure lines are like unicorns. So when I saw this one carded, I had to grab it. No-one knows anything about it. Not even Croner & Remco who made it some time in the 80s. If anyone knows anything, let me know! 3. *Dick Tracy* MOC. Thought this Playmates line was goofy as back in the day. But really fell in love with it this year. Maybe it's a pushback against the modern hyper-real, super-articulated figures I'm so not a fan of. Yeah, I dunno. Toy regrets: a Michael Jackson record player from the Thriller era. They weren't asking much, either. Also, a Boy George 12" figure. That one is still available. So yeah, I still might grab it. Turtles Fan Club paperwork is similar to something I'm chasing: Wagon Wheels Adventure Club papraphernalia from 1981 that was a tie-in for _The Legend of the Lone Ranger_ cinema release. Yeah, I've pretty much got two chances of finding it: buckley's and none! But hey, if any Aussies out there have it laying around...
@ I won’t rest til I get to the bottom of Action Aussie Force haha. Yeah, Lone Ranger is 3.75 inch. Small line, only five figures. And three horses lol
I’m new into collecting retro figures. Sold all my collection when I was younger, but have been buying back Toxic Crusaders and Bucky O’Hare figures over the last 6 months. Missed out on some bargains for complete Toxic Crusader figures and just weapons as well. Have most of the figures bar 2, but will get them eventually. My wife brought me 2 of the Super7 Toxic Crusaders figures for Christmas as well (Junkyard & Radiation Ranger)
@@EdsRetroGeekOut I’ve managed to pick up 3 complete figure so far (Headbanger, Major Disaster & Pyhsco) have managed to most get of Dr. Killemoff’s and a couple of others, but I’ll get there. I’ll just play the waiting game. Lol

Hey man, luvin your videos!! In the first video of yours I watched, I made a snarky comment about not knowing Alien is R-rated. But then I started binging your videos and now feel kinda bad about it. 🤦♂️ Btw ~ I had an original TMNT Sewer Playset, new in box, that I sold a few years ago. Wish I knew you then!
My best find was a master of the universe inflatable bop punching bag (white) with Skeletor and He-Man on opposite sides... 1982 release... a almost impossible find and in a close to mint condition.
What do you regret not picking up this year? Would it have been a deal? 🤓
A vintage G.I. Joe Headquarters. It was a great deal, and I regret not getting it. I was worried about what my wife would say. 😢😢
At least NOT regretting picking up that Micro Machines Metro City set because it made me have a second cameo, this time in your top 10 review, while piking up that blimp 😀 cheers & next time I'll say hi !

The tmnt 5th anni leo was on my list for a long time too. That’s such a cool piece 😁
I found Secret Wars Dr Doom with fully intact paint, Spiderman, and Magneto for a $20 bill at a con in St Louis. Humble finds. Love the channel.
Humble but great finds! Getting the dr doom with the paint is good 👌
I was surprised that boxed Bandai Beach Mikey didn't make the list. That thing is GORGEOUS 🤩
It is 😅 but the list was already pretty tmnt heavy
Always a fan of your pickup stories! I’m working on my list now- it’s so hard to narrow down 😅
You can do it!
What a wonderful year! Some excellent additions. Plus there is nothing better than hanging out and talking and trading toys. Happy New Year!
Thank you 🤓 hope you had an awesome year as well
@ I did! Thank you. You inspired me to put a video together. I will give you a shout out as inspiration if that’s ok
Those Toyplosion Turtly Gangs are so you Ed. Perfect number 1.

Welcome back! 😁
Omg, I have two Crushers in my parents’ attic. No boxes, but excellent condition. A very cool monster toy.

Great Video Ed. My top finds I found in the wild were a near complete Robo skull just missing one foot, 4 boxed / sealed Turtle full sized skateboards and recently a Boxed G1 Megatron 1984 VGC. 🙌🏼 🎉
You had 4 of them 😱😱😱
@ I still have 3 of them 😂 I’m waiting for the day I can trade for something cool.
Store displays are amazing, I hope you'll be able to complete your TMNT one soon!
🤓 still a ways to go but it will be a fun project to complete someday
Enjoyed that list, a nice wide range and I now want a Krusher, such an ace toy
Such a great toy indeed 😁
Excellent pick ups,Ed! I cant wait to see what another year of toy hunting will bring
And dont think I didn't see that Sharp Hand Joe up there, a man of culture I see lol
You got me so into that plastic im going to start and custom making my own never produced or things that i can't afford figures 🤙🤙
Which ones are you working on?

Sven (the My Pet Monster + Turly Gang Guy) is glad to have made you happy. :D
Best wishes from him (and me - the Girlfriend) ;)
Those are some amazing finds! I collected a load of captain marvel this year. I've also gotten into collecting Dune merch
How much merch did they actually make for dune? Was it only for the 80s movie or did it spread out?

Nice vintage pickups, Ed! 👍
Thank you kindly
The packaging on street sharks first run is a shark cage. They use them to dive with sharks
Dang, I didn't realize that Krusher toy had gone up in price that much. I got mine for like $30 a few years back.
He kinda came outta nowhere for me last year 🤓 that’s a good deal on a Krusher did you have one back in the day?
