- What devastating news, as we discovered that the voice actor for Zavala the Titan vanguard has passed. Thought and prayers to the family and friends of Lance Reddick.
As for all of us he will always be our Commander Zavala and it will always be in our hearts!

i've been hearing Lance has Zavala since 2014. All of his lines from "Whether we want it or not" to "indeed" to "ONE FUCKING GUARDIAN" he always filled us with good vibes, i can only talk about destiny but a person like him always extends that to everything, so i can only imagine he was like this for everything he did

It's sad to say but I hope he kills the witness but make the ultimate sacrifice and he dies but isn't and will never be forgotten
it is agreed that we are not gonna accept another voice actor right? Because imo Zavala was Lance. They have to do something big for him, he deserves it

yes the community went straight away to pay respects to the character, guardians are also using the emblem "Push Forward" in the strikes section of the emblems, as another form of paying respects

He awas also aware of us and our community, he even played destiny. He will be missed indeed
Unfortunately, he must be removed from the game because he is the voice actor: no voice actor, no voice for the puppet. This is the pain and struggle we are going through-the loss and lack of connection. We realize that it's an actual human being that puppet that character. Not only that, this actor was a great man that gave back; he loved his character and loved his fans like no other. He left us too soon. 😢 we are in mourning. It is not just a character, It is a natural human being that we grew up with in the game, and now that we are about to loose him forever, we are now feeling that loss.
