Wow thank you so much once again! I really can't believe how much of the BBC's Crimewatch UK franchise television archive and its specials spin offs etc are now available. Including almost every episode from the inception in June 1984 all the way through to December 2001 (apart from 10 December 1992 and 11 October 2001 at present). Thank you Oldstuff620 for continuing to add missing jigsaw puzzle pieces to complete the picture. With your contributions to continue your uploads from the personal television archives of Henrik, Redcard74, Andrew JS, Nathan, Fanedit, Damien Unobtainable2 etc. Hopefully at this rate all of the "missing from UA-cam episodes" will be here before June 2024 the 40th Anniversary of Crimewatch UK!
@@StarBoyyX it certainly has! Nearly all episodes from 1984 until 2001 are Nearly here now (except December 1992 and October 2001). Two Crimewatch Daily episodes from 2001 that were on here until recently and the three recent Crimewatch Midlands episodes have gone unfortunately!
@@5340robertIt’s even more disturbing that the perpetrator cut off the phone wires to ensure that the emergency services couldn’t be contacted I really don’t understand how people could be so wicked? Xx

The torch bomb was left by the IRA. Stephen expected to get compensation for his injuries, but because he was so young, it was decided he was entitled to nothing. Prince Phillip also made fun of him being blind at a later date. The whole case is horrible. The good news is that years later, after pressure from the press, he was finally awarded compensation.
One of the reports I found suggests that he did recover very limited sight in the eye that was affected by the explosion - a small silver lining. The person or people who planted the bomb were never found.
@@SerenDipity64711 Made fun out of his tie: As the Queen asked Stephen Menary how much he could see Philip said: "Not a lot, judging by that tie." Stephen was wearing the uniform of the Middlesex Cadet Force, which includes a red, blue and yellow tie. What a vile individual, perhaps he should have spent a bit more of his time trying to bring up his family of misfits.
The sad thing is the arson attack was probably a hit and the person responsible got the rong street or the rong house i hope the one responsible faces justice some day RIP Emily
Does anyone know the Beemer was ever found? Full credit to the actor playing the BMW salesman, I mean his manner and the way he speaks to the 'customer' is incredibly realistic and very typical. Friendly, polite but completely disinterested...its all about the sale...until it goes wrong!!
The 14 year old boy case omg yes this is the worst case i have ever heard on crimewatch with this sort of case ... did anyone get charged any updates on steven..
In the first case what that poor boy and his family went through especially as a result of the actions of the person who took an completely innocent young boy away from his family and suffering the pain every single day without him is just beyond evil
The government reduce old age pensioner's pension money if they are deemed to have too much in savings . The poor old dear probably only had enough to pay for a funeral and leave a little bit to a family or friends . Never keep cash in your home , it's quite cheap all things considered to get a safety deposit box in a bank . These type of crimes are called ' distraction burglaries ' and the people that commit them are plausible, highly mobile and know of every possible hiding place .

@@kevrobierts8235 Unfortunately Oldstuff620 doesn't have 11 October 2001. Perhaps Damien has it. Or someone else must have this episode
The incident by the seaside is a bit odd to say the least
I lived in the area at the time of that awful arson attack in Caversham. I don't think the person responsible has ever been caught. Poor little Emily.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Emily_Salvini it is still unsolved.
Never been caught unfortunately
That case is heartbreaking. What was the motive ??

£16K cash in the house? Why that much?
I thought they quoted £1600? I could be wrong. Lots of older people don't trust banks.
EDIT: Yep, think it was 16k! That's a lot of cash 😯
