Does anyone remember a case that was featured on Crimewatch in the 80s, where a young man was killed whilst walking down the street in London, possibly Camden. I can't remember how he died, but the police thought the culprit didn't intend to kill him. The victim was a young white man with dark hair. It wasn't the one where the Irish suspect followed a man to the public toilet and killed him, it was a different one. I don't think it had a proper reconstruction.

27:11 thankfully the case was solved because my god this conversation could have been detrimental to the investigation. I understand the conversation has to flow in a natural manner, but I often wonder why they didn't just put a teleprompter behind the presenter for the officer to read. Sure, that would obviously make the 'interview' (too) robotic, but it would also enable the officer to get all the information across to the viewers, which is far more important. An appeal can really be ruined by an officer who is struggling like this...
@CARLIN4737 . Before DNA , the cops just picked on the local simple boy and beat or verballed a confession out of them . That negated the thorough investigation that would have been required to genuinely solve the case . But DNA is a two edged sword , you can't fabricate something that isn't there . To be fair the police have upped their game , but then they've had to or risk a public back lash .
To be fair, they can only reveal so much on shows like Crimewatch. They're also probably not as confident or as comfortable being in front of the cameras. You can tell when some of them stutter, etc 😂 A lot of coppers also do the "Colombo" method. Trying to catch people out. Hoping criminals slip up
A lot of women/girls seem to be attacked while walking dogs and the dogs don't do anything to protect their owner. You think they would if they "loved" their owner.
@@stephaniemollart Of course, the innocent owner could run away while the assailant is busy with the dog. Human life is precious, dogs are man-made mutants developed through artificial selection, they are beings you buy and condition ( "train" ), they have no metacognition, they only live a few years anyway. Moreover, other animals are intensively farmed and killed for dog food, why don't we have this "compassion" for those animals, too? We project unto dogs whatever we fancy: best friend, fur baby, whatever, but this is just Disney induced anthropomorphism.
Most are domesticated family dogs remember, they always picks out their victims strategically they would approach people if they didn’t think otherwise look at Rob Napper he tried to take on the woman with two Alsatians he had a knife He ran off with his toe between his legs. There was another case where a guy tried it on a woman in North London Highgate woods but didn’t realise she had a Rockweiler with her he got bit badly and it missed the vital artery, but guess who got done for it supposedly he tried to spin it around and say that he was asking for directions when clearly he wasn’t Do you see the pattern, Labrador and corgis and other breeds ain’t gonna be putting up a fight to the death they’re not built for that

Thank you for the update he should’ve got longer rip Cherita thank you again enjoy your day Xxx
Cowardly scumbags, they deserved much longer prison sentences, they should not be allowed to travel anywhere.
Both must be out now.
What a cowardly act.
