- PS: The level was not made by me, it was made by SuperMario7 for his episode "Super Mario Legends". I replicated the Super Mario Galaxy's spin and its respective HUD. With the spin you can't only kill enemies, you can also interact with other NPCs and blocks. :)

I thought Nintendo shut down the fangame! Thank god it's still alive.
Nintendo probably forgot this game exists. It has been out for a while. I remember watching WiiRikeToPray do a lets play of this.

i think why its still up is because when launching the game the game says that nintendo is the owner of all the sprites in the game and show your support to nintendo and buy a wii u or something like that
The original creator just wanted to wipe himself clean of SMBX to move onto Terraria, He wasn't going to take a risk because it could compromise his future project (Terraria), SMBX successors will survive as long as they don't poke the beast (Nintendo), Keep things under the radar and don't make yourself an easy target,
Fangames are always going to be a gray area (Even with completely original assets), It's a problem for both parties, Asking a big company forces them to call their lawyers for advice, It's much easier for them to bully and shut down projects since giving their approval would mean they need to launch a investigation and give it legitimacy.

The use of the Super Mario Bros 3 (Advance 4) sprites is more than enough reason to like this considering that game is my favorite out of the Mario franchise

There's just one thing missing...
The sound effect after spinning that tells you that your spin has be recharged.
I'd suggest not having the Mario voice sound effect accompanying the Spin here. He seems entirely silent in almost every other instance.
Taurmega idk about that. This installment could temp others to add more sound files to Mario,Luigi,Peach, Toad and Link when their animations is performed.
I guess so, having other instances of VA in their actions could solve it as well.
Just seems weird to have it just for this move tho, at least I think so.
Taurmega it would only seem weird because the voice came from SMG series. The installment within the jump is keeping it to it's originality. So when new players use that move, a good majority will automatically remember hearing it from SMG. A game that most would've already played. Leaving them with nostalgia.

Add white starbits! I like how they mesh with the other colors. Maybe make them a bit shinier?
Also, make the background look more like sky and less like forest (maybe treetops?).
You could make the music a little bit slower, but you don't have to.

Para ser un juego hecho por un fan está muy bien hecho ya que Mario galaxy fue pensado para ser 3D y lo has hecho 2D a lo Mario world,muy chulo yo lo jugaría si fuera una versión completa ya que Mario galaxy y Mario galaxy 2 son de mis juegos favoritos y Mario world aunque yo no lo he jugado me gusta mucho,impresionante 👍🏻👍🏻😍😍.

Simplemente brutal, muy chido compa, pero aun necesita algunos cambios: el giro se supone que te hace mover mas lento, pero te hace llegar mas alto. Tiene un delay de como 2 entre giro y giro. Es demasiado OP xD, todo lo demas es perfecto
¡Gracias por las sugerencias! Yo no sabía que el giro te hacía ir más lento y que había un delay entre giros (nunca jugué SMG :P) ya lo arreglé.
Le puse 15 frames de delay (un segundo era demasiado). 15 frames son aproximadamente una quinta parte de un segundo
Lx Xzit y que hay sobre la reduccion de velocidad? La verdad ese delay esta bien siendo programado en 2D, y tienes razon en que 1 segundo o dos serian exagerados, aunque faltaria un pequeño detalle, que aparezca un destello (NPC de SMG) pequeño sobre la cabeza de mario mientras que no se puede realizar un giro (asi como ocurria en el original, porque el daba la habilidad de giro a mario, y el se escondia bajo su gorra). Aparte, para que la reduccion de velocidad sea mas efectiva, tiene que pasar una de estas dos cosas: o el giro tiene menos gravedad, la cual, pasado un cierto tiempo (aproximadamente hasta que termine la animacion de giro) regresa a la normalidad ademas de que la reduccion de velocidad sea de 80% o 75% aproximadamente, o que la reduccion de velocidad sea de un 65% pero sin cambiar el giro, para asi respetar un balance entre altura/velocidad. Espero que esto halla sido de ayuda, la neta, te rifas haciendo scripts, sigue asi, eres un crack
También hice la reducción de la velocidad (pensé que lo había comentado pero me olvidé de hacerlo). Le reduje la velocidad aproximadamente un 45% ¿Por que no la reduje más? porque daba un efecto muy extraño, como si el jugador frenara en lugar de reducir su velocidad. Además hay que considerar que Mario no tiene tanta velocidad, como para hacer un cambio significativo. Respecto a la reducción de la gravedad, lo intenté pero daba un efecto más desequilibrado (el jugador saltaba más alto si modificaba la velocidad incluso un poco). Entonces lo dejé como estaba. Y de nuevo, ¡Gracias por todo! Siempre me encanta escuchar sugerencias. :)

Renacisteis mas fuerte que nunca
los trozos de estrella deberian ser lanzables como las bolas de fuego, pero que no destruyan al enemigo, sino que lo inmovilicen, como en el juego actual tu puedes usarlos para eso.
I just gotta say I really don't like the high pitch sound that happens after every single spin. Not the sound effect itself, but there is a super high pitch sound accompanying it that lasts a little longer than the intended sound clip. It hurts my ears but Idk if you can hear it or not.
I noticed it when I was using headphones (with speakers it's not very noticeable). Sorry for that, I actually removed the Mario''s voices, now it's just the regular spin-jump sound.

¡Gracias! y si, se puede poner gravedad a las monedas. Es bastante sencillo:
1- Crea un script llamado "coin" y añade este código:
with npc(sysval(param1))
.advset = 1
end with
2- Da click derecho a la moneda y se abrira el NPC Editor, ve a "Behaviour" - "Script" - "coin" y das click en "Parallel Execution", y listo.
