    3 Uses for 1 device. While we love our Victron system I also know it is not realistic for every one. I reviewed this because I think it fits a niche of some one that wants an off grid solar solution but also want to be able to use it in more places than the RV.

    I bought this unit earlier this year. It is amazing. Stays charged forever when it’s not in use but then changes extremely fast! I can plug my Airstream directly into it and have power for days w/o big ticket items.

    You’re videos are so helpful! I have been comparing these solar generators for over a month now and its analysis paralysis. You may have sold me on this one though. I don’t want to invest in a solar system for my TT, so this would be great for a night of dry camping or even a weekend. I also like the fact I can use it in other ways around the house. Thanks for the valuable info Jared!

    Great video, thanks for the information this will help when I decide to make the switch to power supply alternatives.

    A better buy than the Anker: Oupes Mega 2 has similar (if not better) specs, 2500W output, 2048wh capacity, RV TT30 plug, and is only $1039 on Amazon currently and has rave reviews all over.

    Before you go Anker, check the Terms of Service.
    Per section 17, any disputes are "governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China". If a dispute arises, it will be done "in accordance with the rules of the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court". "The language of the arbitration shall be Chinese." and "The place of arbitration shall be Shenzhen, China."
    In section 18. They can update the ToS at any time and the ToS "shall be deemed effective upon the sending by us of an email". They can put whatever [insert unimaginable terms here] they want and you have preemptively agreed to them.

    I purchased one of these shortly after they were first released by Anker, and a 2nd unit about a year later, with plans to use them for all of my camping needs. The one gripe I have about Anker though, is that they have not made it easy to find just the expansion batteries on their website in the past, and I have never seen the expansion batteries go on sale at anywhere near the sale bundled price of the 767/F2000 and one expansion battery bought together. So, for someone like me who bought only the power station, with plans to buy the expansion battery (batteries) later on, I'm still waiting for that day when Anker will sell just the expansion batteries at something close to the price you can get them when bundled with the power station. If you have any way to relay this request to Anker, please do so. I'm sure that I am not the only Anker 767/F2000, or F2600 owner wanting to buy expansion batteries at a sale price that is available to everyone else who buys them bundled with the power station.

    Do you no longer bring a gas/diesel/propane generator on your RV trips? Do you now solely rely on solar generators?

    We purchased this unit a month ago. Video is a confirmation we made a good choice. What red neutral/ground bonding plug were you using? Thanks.

    So you're saying that I could plug this into the 30 amp outlet on the back of my trailer and it would then charge my trailer batteries? So I can substitute this instead of using a generator to recharge my batteries?

    How does this compare to the Ecoflow Delta Pro?

    • @thechamp66
      @thechamp66 8 годин тому +2

      It compares directly with a Delta2Max (D2M). Not with the Delta Pro (DP) which is much larger. DP has 3600 Wh battery AND 3600 watt inverter which provides the full 30 amps at 120 volts. DP will accept 1600 watts of solar. D2M has two 500 watt solar input ports for 1000 watts which is same solar capacity as the Anker F2000

    $1200 isn't a "crazy low price". Did you have to sign an agreement with Anker?

      Normal RV AC unit will pull ~1500 watts. This means this device would run your RV's AC unit for about 75 mins.

    • @traveling.down.the.road56
      @traveling.down.the.road56 7 годин тому

      Depends on the wattage of your A/C and refrig, and also the temperature you are camping in and how much the A/C has to run to keep you comfortable. I'm guessing you might also need the expansion battery to double the capacity of this system. Anker also has a newer version that has more battery capacity called the F2600, if I'm not mistaken, but it is the same size as the F2000 power station.

    I'm new to this.... but thinking that this should take place of solar? I don't know.

    • @Jon__G
      @Jon__G 13 годин тому +2

      If you can plug in you don’t need this, if you’re using it because you have no shore power, then you need solar to charge it. It replaces the battery and inverter only.

    Can it run an 11k BTU a/c? If yes for how long?

    • @AllAboutRVs
      @AllAboutRVs  8 годин тому +1

      Yes It could but I don't think that would be my planned use for this unit. You would have to see what the exact draw is of the specific unit but assuming it would be close to 100 watts to 1000 btu it would run it for an hour and half to 2 hours or with the extra battery it would be between 3-4 hours. If you had solar at the same time it would extend it. If you had 500 watts in it would close to double those times and if you had a 1000 watts of solar it could go much longer.

    Can you plug it in and leave it plugged in so it stays charged?

    • @traveling.down.the.road56
      @traveling.down.the.road56 7 годин тому +1

      Yes, I leave mine plugged in full time and have my Internet router and a few other items plugged into it (my computer), and use it as an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), as the Anker 767/F2000 has a very fast switch over time that can keep even your computer working without resetting during a power outage. I depend on an Internet connection for my phone to work as well, because I live in an area where cell coverage is very poor.

      @ Thank you. I was thinking of getting one for my basement sump pump. The power does go out sometimes during a storm so I get out the old gas generator. This power station would solve that problem. Well I would guess at least give me some time to get myself situated to see if I even need the big gas generator. lol 😂

    Way Too expensive for just a battery, will keep my Honda 3200

    • @AllAboutRVs
      @AllAboutRVs  7 годин тому +1

      I hear you. I keep a generator too but this is more than a battery. This will give you power in places and times you don't or can't run a generator. Packed in this is inverters, converters, solar charge controllers and a DC to Dc Charger along with DC out for small devices.

    ANKER AD - fan of your videos EXCEPT when they are an ad. do not like "ad videos" with no comparison and /or performance info. I also prefer videos over 10 minutes, but I am a certified curmudgeon....
