I can’t believe a ladder makes me excited.

I'm from the UK, love little giant ladders, just bought the 6ft King combo, had the 4 tread revolution for about 3 years now,, but I'm thinking of getting the 6 tread all terrain conquest now.

Can you step on the little ladder or just the plastic top? I work on RV Ac's and average height is 10'. I just like to get it to reach a little over the top especially when coming down. Let me know your thoughts?

If I just didn't have so damn many ladders already, it looks really nice 😎🛠️😎🛠️😎

I’m with you. It’s hard buying ladders when you have perfectly fine ones setting. We have a couple ladders now that never get used. The job were currently on has 4 levels and we were getting tired of moving ladders to other levels. We’re going to re home some ladders soon lol.

QUESTION: will the 8’ version straddle a 6’ stockade fence? Normal step ladders have the cross tie 2/3 up and true multi position LG’s are heavy and expensive. A quick fence jumper would be really handy.

It looks like it would. Each rung is 12" high; so given that it's attached at the 7' mark, you should have a little bit of extra room (no more than about four to five inches of extra room, though).

@ indeed it does. Bought one days after my comment and used it for exactly what I had asked about. Very useful , reasonably -priced step ladders.

@@chriskelvin248 Cool, how much clearance do you have and are there very many instances where it doesn't work due to the unevenness of the fence?

@ the fence I was working on was fairly straight and level across the yard. The ladder cleared the top of the pickets by at least a foot.

@ I could imagine on steeply sloped ground, the fence could be stepped. But with a 6’ fence, I could easily work ON it from ground level. I just needed to get OVER it to access both sides (it was a spot repair, not a new install).

I can’t believe I didn’t even think of pushing that button so it would open. Idk how I’m going to break it to the family that Harvard isn’t in my future

is that the 6 and 8 ft? or the 13 ish ft reach and the 17 ish ft reach?
or is that the same thing? lol

    • @PeterLassig

      They're reviewing the 6' and 8' ladders. The reach assumes a 5'6" person with a 12" reach.

If you could.pnly get one, would it be the 6 or the 8?

    • @campbellbuilt
      @campbellbuilt  10 місяців тому +1

That’s a loaded question. Typical interior room height in American houses is 8’. If it’s being used in that situation I’d go with the 6’ but if it’s primarily for outside work go with the 8’.

@@campbellbuilt Thanks. I was thinking the same. It would be mostly indoors but when I would think of doing that occasional outside work, the extra 2 foot became relevant.
