My daughter, (she's such a sweetheart), got a notebook and took notes while watching a bunch of your videos to find some great Christmas gifts for me. One of them was the Dior foundation, and I love it! Great on the skin and really flattering to more mature skin. She bought several other products and all are real winners! Thank you Angie for all the great content you spend time researching and creating.
I have been doing the same for my mom 🥹 trying to learn more. I’m 22. My mom is 66. You raised a sweet girl! And thanks Angie for your help and advice!
That's what I'm doing right now for my mother in time for moms day lol and I'm a dude! Haha I know Angie has the best tips and she's around my momma's age so I know what she's talking about because she looks great like my momma. 😅
Angie! Oh my goodness Dior foundation is such a blessing. I’m 60 and although I like your other grails, this one is out of the park. I keep looking at myself and yup still amazing! Thank you for what you do for all of us.
Angie - Not only do I love the content of your videos I love how you make me feel that I still can enjoy things and look forward to things at my age. Love your positivity!
Me too! We all need to put a stop to all those ridiculous stereotypes, and different forbidden things we mature women aren’t “supposed to do”. I absolutely will not follow those stupid rules. I love shimmers and I’ll always wear them. I also love having longer hair as a mature woman. 😊
Hi Angie, I've been with you from the beginning. You have helped me so much. I don't comment a lot, but you really are a class act. You look younger today than when you started your channel. Well done!❤️❤️❤️
I have followed you since 2018. Your skincare recommendations are amazing and have changed my skin so much over the last 5 years. Your makeup recommendations are always great too. I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate your content. Happy New Year - wishing you all the best!
Thanks Angie for all the great suggestions over the year, I love so many of them! Just a quick note about the Dior foundation for those of us who are allergic or sensitive to fragrance….. this does contain a noticeable fragrance and while I love the foundation, much to my disappointment I could not wear it because of my reaction to it. I would urge anyone with that issue to try a sample before purchasing. Wish Dior would offer a fragrance free version please!
Kosas Revealer Concealer is the only concealer I use. It doesn’t emphasize wrinkles on me like all other concealers do👍. I am also enjoying the Kosas Revealer foundation. I’m 59.
I’m 53 and will never stop wearing shimmer. Angie, please try the Milk Makeup Eclipse primer. I got a sample and was blown away. I ended up ordering it. I don’t think I’ll ever try another primer again. It’s so smoothing and erases my pores.
Love the Dior foundation! Tried it this year on your reco. In addition to how amazing it makes my skin look, the wear time is very long. Looks great all day and night. Thanks!
I totally agree about Dior matte- finally a good one for me. Idole mascara is another big winner from uou along with three Revlon Satin ink- really lasts! Appreciate your testing!
I have following you for years and bought so many products based on your recommendations and I have to say i never regretted my purchase except this dior foundation. It was aweful.
I have only been following you and your suggestions for a year but I went to visit family for new year’s day. They’re out of state and I haven’t seen them since 2019. My family told me that I looked much younger than the last time I was there.
I am 51 & appreciate and have always loved your videos! Thank you for all the info you give on products and what you recommend for us that are a little older! And of course I have had your brushes with BK beauty for about a year and I want another set for back up! The best!!!
I finally broke down and bought your brushes. I can’t wait to try them. I haven’t purchased new brushes in many years. I wouldn’t have known about BK beauty without your videos so thank you for your work!
I love shimmers on my eyes, too. (I will be 65 in April) I agree, Angie, how a shimmer shadow brightens up your face. I agree, too, that nothing should be off limits just because of your age. The Physician’s Formula liquid eyeliner is wonderful, too. I like it in dark brown.
I totally agree with you Angie. Thank you for encouraging every lady here that we can wear glimmer or glitter shadows. I've always felt this way after 40's and after 50's!❤👏
I will wear sparkly on my eyes until the end of time! I just turned 60 and I’m more conscious of what I wear so as to not look like I’m trying to keep up with people my daughters ages. I always look at your guidance, Angie, for ideas. One thought - I’m finding that the best eyeshadow primer, hands down, is the Mac paint pot. I wear Soft Ochre if I’m doing a warm tone look, and Painterly if I’m doing a cool tone look.
I SWEAR by that Cover Girl foundation!!!!! I get it in 3 colors so I can custom mix my color and I also use my dark color as a bronzer/contour. Love it. It also mixes well with my Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear. A great thinner.
L’Oréal Lumi is a dupe for Dior! My daughter and I were getting ready for a wedding last Summer and I showed her my foundation after applying no primer, only Cera Vé (in tub) moisturizer that’s it. She couldn’t believe how natural it is and she had Dior! That good! Yeah I don’t follow much all the rules for getting older and still love to put a bit of glitter on my eyes, love a beautiful soft highliter as well. Makeup should be hell of a lot of fun and the spot where we tend to ourselves and dream we’ll look beautiful …if for those few minutes we are all princesses imagining dancing with our handsome prince. Or whomever! 😂 I go pretty natural but keep a bit of fun. Don’t get ever boring. 😊 Happy New Year to all the beauties! 🎉
Such a great video! Thank you! I too haven't found a primer that I love. HOWEVER, I do use the Australian Gold tinted sunblock and it works just like a primer on my skin. It dries to a matte finish and works well under foundation.
Because of you, I got the Dior Forever Foundation a few months ago and dang- I’m so grateful! I love it. It’s my favorite ! It’s amazing. Thank you! Finally… a good foundation! I sweat a lot all day at work. And it lasts.
Dior foundation is fantastic. Worth every penny. I also like the Dior concealer (they have just changed the formula for the worse, so I have a back up of the old formula coming). I actually have a fear of them changing the formula of the foundation, which would be catastrophic for me and I really hope they don’t do that. My second fav is the Lancôme foundation because it stays on for a long time, which helps me in the heat of Los Angeles. I also LOVE your eye concealer brush. It is perfect for both concealer and eye primer. Such a great brush, Angie. You knocked that one out of the park. I use it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Thanks!
My daughter gifted me with your brush set for Christmas and wow, what a game changer, especially the concealer brush! It really helps this newbie make up user!
So first I Totally love you and all the hard work you put into checking out all products. I am 67. I like your makeup but would love to see you try some colors and I mean colors. I do all the time. Bronze, blue, pink, red l, purple, browns. Whatever. I love the change and I think they look good because I'm getting compliments alot. You have the most beautiful face, hair, skin and your super thin. I really would ask you to maybe just once try some color on your eyes and lips. You could pull it off so easily. I think you have palettes with, oranges, reds or something fun. You probably think I'm nuts but I sure would love to see some darker colors on you. I never wear blush only bronzer (lightly) and then a pretty lip. Hopefully you will but if not I totally understand. I did just finish ordering the physicians + three colors in the palette. Can't wait to try it. Thanks for yet another fabulous video for my evening enjoyment..
Unfortunately I could not wear the Dior foundation since I had a huge reaction to the fragrance. But Angie is correct that it looked fabulous... until my face turned itchy and red! Oh well! But most Angie's recommendations are spot on, and my coloring is pretty similar so I can straight up order the same shades and they are a match! I am so thankful I found a sensible gal to help with this annoying aging skin process 😉
Elf has a fantastic underrated brow fiber mascara. Wow Brow I think it’s called. Been using it for years, limited color range but blends well with my natural brow color and doesn’t look like a fake color. $4-5.00 worth a try!
Thank you for the review. Definitely need to try some of these products. Mascara is always a challenge for me. I get anxiety when applying mascara. Somehow I always manage to poke my eye.
Hi Angie, I wish you would do a video on procedures or routine you are doing to keep your skin from sagging and your cheeks high and minimize your nasal folds from getting worst?
Thank you Angie! I can’t imagine how much work it takes to put these videos together! I write down every recommendation and then buy most of them to try! At least the drugstore versions! Lol. I bought your beautiful brush set a few months ago and am loving them! Thanks for all you do for us! I also really love all the clothing videos you do, your style is wonderful!
Thank you for being their for us and giving us so much information. Is there any chance you could do a makeup tutorial on your makeup of today??? We would love that!!!!!!!
Love your videos. As a mature woman, more mature than you, lol, I appreciate the tips. I would love to try the Dior foundation but they are not cruelty free so will pass. I keep track of the brands you recommend that are cruelty free and will try them. Again thanks for the great info
I 2nd the Cover Girl Milk Foundation! I was so happy to find an affordable vegan formula that I LOVE! I even brought it in a recent cruise over my more expensive foundations.
I will look for the Essence highlighter. I definitely want something subtle and not crazy shiny! Also, just received my BK Beauty 101 and Hot & Flasy Concealer brush in the mail yesterday! I’ve never used brushes before (always fingers and sponges), so I’m anxious to try with my Dior Forever foundation and concealer! Thanks Angie for being a voice for us seasoned ladies who still like to play and have fun with makeup!
Your monthly faves and fails are always a treat, Angie. It's great that you love the Revlon Foundation. There was a time when Revlon was the hot ticket in makeup, and they've still got it! Thanks for another great review! XXOO ❤
If any of you were like me and you’ve been hit by the recession, and your find it terribly difficult to afford BK brushes. Prior to receiving the BK beauty brushes for a gift., I used the Rare Beauty concealer and foundation brush. II still find myself using them as much, if not more than the BK beauty. Don’t get me wrong the BK beauty brushes are amazing, but the Rare beauty are just as amazing and the unique shape is the best!! The shapes are different, but RB is actually better for some application methods.
The Pat McGrath concealer is really good, too. Hardly need anything! Creamy, really great coverage. I use L4 in Winter and a combo of L4 and L5 in Summer. I also found the Mercier Translucent Setting Powder Ultra Blur, and I’ve got to say, I noticed a difference, especially on larger pores on my cheeks by my nose!
Thank you for your recommendation for Caliray tubing mascara. I think it's a game changer. I gave up wearing mascara because of raccoon eyes, and all the pulling and tugging involved in removal, and I'm prone to eyelid infections if I don't remove it all. I had never heard of tubing mascara before watching this video. I ordered it online from Sephora, and just tried it out. It looks great, didn't transfer, and came right off with a warm washcloth. Thanks for this!
Thank you so much Angie. These "Best of" videos, I'm sure take so much time of yours to put together. So many great ideas that I can't wait to try. Thank you thank you!
I got that Sephora Wishing You palette based on your recommendation. The shimmers have a lot of glitter in them, which I really don't like. Glitter fallout all over my undereyes.
I purchased the L’Oréal nude after watching your videos and I wore it on a trip to Thailand and it was absolutely amazing. Blew my mind. It was very humid but my face never looked oily and it didn’t accentuate my pores at all. 🥳❤️🔥
I love the Dior Forever, and it's because of you! Thank you so much!!! I balance it out on other days with TruMatch, which actually looks great, I just don't care for the bottle. I do apply the Dior with a beauty blender. I'm still addicted to Thrive, though i did buy Caliray. I can't thank you enough for all the recommendations this year, be it Clothing or Makeup. I'm all in! Happy New Year, Angie! ~ Lori
Have you ever tried or played around with any of the Smashbox Covershot pallets? I have three of them and love each. I guess they aren’t new but take any one of them with you on vacation and that’s all you’ll need for eyeshadow.
It's exciting to see the Saie Slip Tint here! I know some people complain it's a bit thick, but the best way to make it feel like a lighter creamy lotion tinted moisturizer is by adding a pump of Saie's glowy supergel in the shade champagne, an illuminator with the prettiest finish. They have a bronzier shade that's the perfect temporary light tan, warms up your face beautifully but subtly! It helps the foundation sink in and sit better and adding a faint luminosity. I find the supergel helps the appearance and feel of most of my heavier foundations like the IT cc cream. It's so great, I highly encourage trying the mini Sephora has available to try before buying the full size.
For eyeshadow/lid primer, try Milani Eyeshadow Primer. I used to use a Smashbox primer until it was no longer available in-store. I discovered the Milani from another creator (don't remember who) and I have been using it for years now. Especially great for oily skin and it's pigmented so it evens out the blue/purple/green in your eyelids. Try it, I don't think you will be disappointed AND drugstore price
Loved this Angie! I tried the NYX Mineral Matte powder per your recommendation a while back..and WOW! It's feather light and so blurring! My new favorite!! I am 60 also, so I really love trying your suggestions. Thank you so much!🥰❤
I really loved the Dior matte foundation but i can't do perfume smells in my products so I had to return it. : ( Hoping to find something similar without the fragrance.
Thanks Heather... all good tips.... but how about leggings or trousers for us short torosoed gals? Those high waisted versions go all the way up Under the girls on me! Great if one is going for the Steve Urkle look! Get my suspenders! Lol! Anyway... you are right about trying on different colors... our skin tone does change over time! Enjoy the weekend! 💚
Thank you, Angie! I actually had people ask me what eyeshadow I was wearing with the Stone Cold Fox palette by Colourpop! I mean, who notices eyeshadow? Shows how good it is. Also thanks for the slip tint recommendation, I mix it with the Lancôme foundation for a photo finish. The winged stamps didn't work for me, I actually even developed skin irritation, but your video on doing the makeup application and showing how to do the wing on a mature lid has been makeup life changing! My husband calls them "Tweety Bird Eyes". Love, love!
Lancome has been my go to for years! Love Natasha Denona eye shadow palettes! Trish McEvoy makes gel eye liner pencils which dry down and are so easy to blend and you can make a wing very easily with the sponge tip on it. Great for mature eyes!
Love the Dior foundation - it takes very little amount for great coverage. I think I only use a small dot everytime - so while it is more money I feel it is going to last a long time.
The Revlon Color stay has great staying power but it does bleed up into the lip wrinkles. Sadly, that also has great staying power! Lip liner helps but didn’t completely stop it.
I have one elf shadow stick and I don‘t like the quality, I don’t see much color pay off. In general I feel that stick or cream eye shadows crease more than regular powder eye shadow. And I do use eye lid primer. Will try the Dior foundation, thx for your recommendations.
Is the Dior foundation drying? I have dry skin. I even found your Lancôme concealer too dry for my under eyes. I would love it if you could do a video on products for people with dry skin. Thanks!
My daughter, (she's such a sweetheart), got a notebook and took notes while watching a bunch of your videos to find some great Christmas gifts for me. One of them was the Dior foundation, and I love it! Great on the skin and really flattering to more mature skin. She bought several other products and all are real winners! That is the sweetest thing ever ❤
I have been doing the same for my mom 🥹 trying to learn more. I’m 22. My mom is 66.
You raised a sweet girl! And thanks Angie for your help and advice!
Amazing well done mama ❤
@@lexiesmith4235 I’m sure your Mom will treasure your thoughtfulness ❤️
That's what I'm doing right now for my mother in time for moms day lol and I'm a dude! Haha I know Angie has the best tips and she's around my momma's age so I know what she's talking about because she looks great like my momma. 😅
Angie, you’re the gold standard for USEFUL reviews. Thanks for all your work!
I'm 💯 agree with you!
Totally agreed 100%! Love your work Angie and extremely grateful for all you do for us 🙏🤗💗
I'm so glad!
So nice to hear that!
I will wear shimmer on my eyes until my dying day😂
😂🎉❤
Me too! We all need to put a stop to all those ridiculous stereotypes, and different forbidden things we mature women aren’t “supposed to do”. I absolutely will not follow those stupid rules. I love shimmers and I’ll always wear them. I also love having longer hair as a mature woman. 😊
YES!
Me too. If you have aging hooded eyes it makes your eye lids pop.
Me too! Im gonna be 80 with duochrome shimmer all over my eyes with no hesitation!
Hi Angie, I've been with you from the beginning. You have helped me so much. I don't comment a lot, but you really are a class act. You look younger today than when you started your channel. Well done!❤️❤️❤️
45 year old female - Bought the Dior foundation when you originally debuted it and I am HOOKED ever since
I have followed you since 2018. Your skincare recommendations are amazing and have changed my skin so much over the last 5 years. Your makeup recommendations are always great too. I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate your content. Happy New Year - wishing you all the best!
Thanks so much!
I as well have been following you Angie… Been using Dior foundation since your August video… Best Foundation Ever!!!!
I’m 57 in March. I’m happy I found you! I love your videos! You’re honest & do the work so we don’t have to! Thank you & cheers to a new great year!
I am 65 and the Angie concealer brush is the boom , if you don’t have it GET IT worth every penny and is magic
Kosas Revealer Concealer is the only concealer I use. It doesn’t emphasize wrinkles on me like all other concealers do👍. I am also enjoying the Kosas Revealer foundation. I’m 59.
KVD makes an awesome eyeliner in black or brown. I have wrinkles on my lid and it still works fabulously!
Even with a full makeup I love using the Elf shadow sticks. I get compliments from others all the time, even the Sephora staff.
I’m 53 and will never stop wearing shimmer. Angie, please try the Milk Makeup Eclipse primer. I got a sample and was blown away. I ended up ordering it. I don’t think I’ll ever try another primer again. It’s so smoothing and erases my pores.
Oh wow, so good to hear that. Thank you for sharing!❤️
Love the Dior foundation! Tried it this year on your reco. In addition to how amazing it makes my skin look, the wear time is very long. Looks great all day and night. Thanks!
Agree! So happy you love it too!
The best!!!

As always Angie, well done. Your reviews are so thoughtful, well-described and delivered with calm professionalism. A joy.
This is amazing! It is so important to give ourselves permission to celebrate ourselves every single day!💖
I SWEAR by that Cover Girl foundation!!!!! I get it in 3 colors so I can custom mix my color and I also use my dark color as a bronzer/contour. Love it. It also mixes well with my Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear. A great thinner.

Or whomever! 😂 I go pretty natural but keep a bit of fun. Don’t get ever boring. 😊
Happy New Year to all the beauties!
Nice, I'm curious to try it now❤️!
I wish you’d make a mini kitten paw brush. The regular size is too big for me. And a shorter handle would help.
Great products! I’ll give some of them a try! Your sweater is gorgeous!
Noticed that you hit pan on your Stone Cold Fox palette. ColourPop is now providing a free replacement for one shadow per palette when you hit pan. 🥰
Dior foundation is fantastic. Worth every penny. I also like the Dior concealer (they have just changed the formula for the worse, so I have a back up of the old formula coming). The Wishing You palette is my absolute favorite. I use it all the time.
Thank you, Angie. I appreciate your honest reviews and your kindness to all of us who are getting older. ❤
Great video Angie! The eyeshadow I use at 65 is Lisa Robertson's Bronze Prism eyeshadow.
Angie love your combo of top and nail colour - very flattering with your complexion. Nothing else to say, just this x :)
Unfortunately I could not wear the Dior foundation since I had a huge reaction to the fragrance. But Angie is correct that it looked fabulous... until my face turned itchy and red! Oh well! I don't understand why companies use fragrance in their foundations.
That stinks that you loved the foundation and couldn't wear it. I want to try it, and am nervous about the fragrance.
At 57 I can't seem to go without shimmering eyeshadow. Don't care what anyone says....it makes me happy. 🧡
I tried the cover girl clean fresh skin milk and I really like it! I’ve had such a hard time finding foundation that works on my dry 61 year old skin.
Buying some of your brushes right now! Thank you for your suggestions. I’ll be 51 this year and really needed brushes for mature skin.
I love love love the Saie tinted moisturizer, thank you so much for that!

It's so helpful to have this information from someone that already applied it, I'm excited to try it on!
Thank you for all the recommendations and all your hard work
Would love to hear about your hair color and cut - what you get and what you ask for, etc. Your hair always looks great!
Thank you for being their for us and giving us so much information. Is there any chance you could do a makeup tutorial on your makeup of today??? We would love that!!!!!!!
I'm 35 but I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos) so my skin is stretchy which means wrinkled. Thank you for this page
19:41 congratulations on ur brush line, & ur growth
Love your videos. As a mature woman, more mature than you, lol, I appreciate the tips. I would love to try the Dior foundation but they are not cruelty free so will pass. I keep track of the brands you recommend that are cruelty free and will try them. Again thanks for the great info
I 2nd the Cover Girl Milk Foundation! I was so happy to find an affordable vegan formula that I LOVE! I even brought it in a recent cruise over my more expensive foundations.
Great compilations to check out. Thanks Angie!
I love the Wishing You eye shadow palette!
XXOO ❤

So thorough! Thank you. I think I will try eyeshadow for the first time in my life this year!😍
Wow! This was wonderful! Thanks for your hard work!
Angie, do you have a video on how to layer skincare under your makeup? Keep up the great work! Thanks!
I love your concealer brush! It's the best thing I've tried in years, and just fits the contours of my eye beautifully.
LYS serum foundation has now become my favorite. I have tried Armani and Dior and I can honestly say that LYS is better and so much more affordable.
Thank you for your recommendation for Caliray tubing mascara. I think it's a game changer. Thank you so much Angie. These "Best of" videos, I'm sure take so much time of yours to put together. So many great ideas that I can't wait to try. Thank you thank you!
Angie, I'm not in a position to afford the set of your BK beauty brushes. Is there a more modestly priced set you can recommend ?
Your brush set is my fav beauty purchase this year. Better than the luxury brushes I own. They are perfection and make application soooooo easy.
Thank you for sharing, it's helpful, I will check it out!
The Flick Stick YES!! Thanks for that!!!
Great recommendations! You look beautiful as always.
Sephora gave me a sample of the Dior forever but I have to say I prefer the Sephora best skin ever foundation on me. Thanks for reviewing it.
Thank you Angie, love your long videos, so much information 👏🏻
I love the Dior Forever, and it's because of you! Thank you so much!!! I balance it out on other days with TruMatch, which actually looks great, I just don't care for the bottle. I do apply the Dior with a beauty blender. I'm still addicted to Thrive, though i did buy Caliray. I can't thank you enough for all the recommendations this year, be it Clothing or Makeup. I'm all in! Happy New Year, Angie! ~ Lori
Happy New Year Lori!!
Have you ever tried or played around with any of the Smashbox Covershot pallets? I have three of them and love each. I guess they aren’t new but take any one of them with you on vacation and that’s all you’ll need for eyeshadow.
Your concealer brush is hands down my best find of 2022!!
Thanks so much!! 💜
Happy New Year, Angie ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Angie please, any other foundation that came close to the dior?
I love it too but allergic to fragrance.❤
I splurged on Dior but not the matte. I love it!
I am with you on setting powder. Can’t imagine not using it. And I’m going to give your concealer brush a try 😊
My favorite crease brush has been a506 and my new favorite a505.
I am looking forward to adding to my collection.
You look lovely.
Loved this Angie! I tried the NYX Mineral Matte powder per your recommendation a while back..and WOW! It's feather light and so blurring! My new favorite!! I am 60 also, so I really love trying your suggestions. Thank you so much!🥰❤
Angie, I bought the Maybelline vinyl ink in both recommended colors. I love it! It actually does stay on all day. Great video 🎉
Awesome!
I really loved the Dior matte foundation but i can't do perfume smells in my products so I had to return it. : ( Hoping to find something similar without the fragrance.
Thanks Heather... all good tips.... but how about leggings or trousers for us short torosoed gals? Those high waisted versions go all the way up
Under the girls on me! Great if one is going for the Steve Urkle look! Get my suspenders! Lol!
Anyway... you are right about trying on different colors... our skin tone does change over time! Enjoy the weekend! 💚
Hooray, I just ordered my first brush set from BK and your product!! I can’t wait to have great brushes!!
Thanks so much! I hope you love them!
I am running out to get that Dermablend concealer!! Thanx Angie! ;)
The Stone Cold Fox palette is my absolute favourite!
Agree 💯!
Excellent video Angie
The Revlon Color stay has great staying power but it does bleed up into the lip wrinkles. Sadly, that also has great staying power! Lip liner helps but didn’t completely stop it.
Can you suggest products for cool skin tones (salt and pepper hair and brown eyes :) Thanks!
Thanks!
