- Totally over-the-top version of "Sinner", and probably my favourite live version of the song. Halford is just ripping the old classic apart, screaming his lungs off. It's no wonder this was the last tour where he sang with such intensity, I'm guessing his voice simply couldn't cope with all the vocal acrobatics.
In my opinion high screams are always necessary, if you are able to do them, they are never enough! And they always send shivers down my spine. Rob was and will ever be the best high screamer ever! \m/
HOLYSHIT!!!!!! HALFORD IS A BEST SINGER OF HEAVY METAL!!! EVEEEEER!
And...? We all know this. Your point is...?
@woody Vallallellalunga -- Why the FUCK would you call me a prick if I am agreeing with what you and the original guy said?
WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU TRUMP VOTERS ANYWAY?
@@jondunmore4268 You're a Prick. And you've been out-voted 2 to 1, just like a recent election. But a sleaze like you won't admit it, will you?
@@crowbar1181 -- Still don't know why you're talking at me, Trump voter.
@@jondunmore4268 I'm not even an American. But i do know that the orange man Drumpf won that election.
The JUDAS PRIEST is one of the greatest metal band in the world! I always think so. Thanks From Japan.
i was at this show at the san diego sports arena slayer opened up for them great priest show
This video shows that every single band after Priest did not touch the top, they briefly touched Halfords balls!
There are worse things to touch.
Holy hell! It's hard to believe that Rob was really THAT great live. Incredible.
Saw them in '79, so it was basicaly an expanded unleashed in the east set. Halford was unreal.....
SAN DIEGO LOVES JUDAS PRIEST!!!! I was at this show and every show they had at San Diego Sports Arena from Screaming For Vengeance to Painkiller and saw them at the US Festival in 1983....nobody rocks like Rob & The Boys!!!!
goddam to have been around for the late 70's to the 80's metal scene
gods name...aint..dammn..son!!
Christ almighty! Why do priest always floor me with these live performances!!!! Especially after a lay off from listening to them. Rob is on fire in the late 80s recordings.
I was fortunate enough to see this concert at Alpine Valley in 1988....NO ONE COULD TOUCH Rob Halford (vocally speaking) during his peak years....this concert was FANTASTIC! Long live the METAL GOD!!! \m/
From before I knew most of the lines of this song, the one line that always jumped out at me was, "...Searching for those carcasses of war..." 1:39
Righteous!
This is just awesome no one could touch rob back then, he was the best and still is in my book
Halford at his best! Will surely miss the metal gods
Holly Shit I thought Halfords voice peeked years before this. I was sooooo wrong.
It peaked after he stopped drinking and druggin
@SonRegal He was well off the coke 'n all by then...it's actually part and parcel of WHY he sounds BETTER.. :D
Fire. Just pure fucking FIRE
Unreal.
What a voice
DA SINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!
THE DEVIL RIDES BESIDE HIM!!!
A lot of their early songs have a great deal of New Testament imagery; funny how the fundies say they're Devil worshipers. Makes one wonder if any of the fundies ever sit down to read the lyrics to this and Exciter.
Also Painkiller is about a being who saves the world from a great evil.
this version is being played way fast!
I was there amazing show ,, salyer open up the show !! RAMIT DOWN TOUR !!
AMAZING VOICE!!!!!
Absolutly amazing.
Sounds awesome
best voice of all time
Wow! Incredible!
holy shit! i wonder if he was coked out of his mind or something, Rob sounds insane!
he was sober then.
@@shagstarsthat's why he is singing with conviction.

It's definitely prime-era!
The god strolling in the 5th octave :p
zexedearth89 Just another day for Rob in his prime haha
1651997 Check this one out, he's on fire throughout the entire song!
WOW !
Metal God...
@jjjxxx777 Rob all Rob!

@TheFuzzysurfer Fuckin lucky you !!
Rob grita como un águila, sobrehumano, lo amo
@jjjxxx777 thats what im sayin bro
@TheFuzzysurfer Or would that be Cox Arena ?
@TheFuzzysurfer So that would be the San Diego Sports Arena ?
its not from the painkiller tour. Its from the Ram It Down tour, That bootleg is rather incorrect.
holland playing any of phillip's stuff is a joke.
Holland's playing is a general embarrassment, IMO. Then again BS and SFV and DotF were high points for the band, so IDK.
God?
KK's tone is not the great Flying V tone. This is some custom bs guitar.
