@@infinity7585 yes, as a composer for trailer, games.. I went away from kontakt as far as possible. Many reasons, even though i cant use like 800 bucks of libraries now. Other new players are just more cpu and workflow effective imo

I was very impressed with Gentle Brass, and ended up buying the excellent Brass Band Soloists. Other freebies enticed me to buy Spotlight Piano and Moonlight Celeste.
i don t know where do you see that VCA compressor Softtube is free brotha ...I dont see it.... its either trial or 149.... i saw an offer back to last March but thats it.
Companies keep coming out with their own downloaders/launchers/etc. makes me wish for an app like Steam that the gaming community has - just open 1 launcher, login once, browse deals/new and upcoming releases, recommendations from followed curators, a single download/update manager, manage subscriptions, community discussions/guides/reviews/tags/workshop, etc. I would definitely follow SLR on the curator section of this imaginary app XD

I have found so much of the Indy Kontakt developer community has switched over to Pulse Audio app which works really great
