I have a real compex I didn't know about that plugin, thanks.. last time used on a Real Jp8 it's is insane on growling synths. It truly makes your ears feel.
These plugins sound really good, as far as one can say that. Personally, I can hear the differences in the overall mix only when doing an A/B comparison with the real hardware. As a listener, I'm definitely interested in the sound, but the musical composition and the creative value behind it are more important to me. Thanks for the video and best regards.
Thanks for doing this David. I'm still mostly ITB so these vids are very useful to me. Your original video on the Softube Bus Processor sold me and I've used it on many mixes with great results. Definitely gonna check out the Tone Projects stuff. You rock!
Harrison Mix Bus is good. It has an analogue quality going on just by putting a mix together. I just get in and get out. It works best for me. Sometimes I import my stems in there. I hardly use any plug-ins besides or reverb. The “Daw” has a sound.
My absolute favorites in analog sounding plugins are Neve and API console emulations by Sonimus Audio and corresponding preamps/eqs (Burley 73 and A-eq respectively).
VCA comp isn’t my favorite but I’ll try the Bus Compressor, thanks! For your El Ray demo you turn up make up gain but still had auto gain engaged, I think.

Kush Blyss. That special analog EQ thing where you boost highs and it just sounds beautiful instead of harsh. 10/10 imo.
i have a question im learning, is the eq the one making it the boost smooth or is it the sound that has those nice highs already?
Don't forget Kush AUdio's version of the Q432, too. It's a banger, too.
