I am a strong American man, and when I saw Catherine's cancer message I wept for her. I am in admiration of her courage, beauty, and grace. What a queen she will be. UK, you are lucky to have William and Catherine, and their children.

And I thought that was what Richard meant when he said that. To my ears, he meant that she didn’t let the press, or even life’s everyday ups and downs, get to her. I did not think he meant she doesn’t take her role, or her duties, seriously.

I completely agree. I have never seen the King happier than after he married Camilla. She has done the work to rehabilitate her image and done whatever was asked of her. I was surprised that the late Queen had a change of heart about her after seeing how devoted she is and how happy she makes Charles--back then I thought it would never happen. It's a remarkable story. I don't know how William feels about her, but at least they seem to have a good working relationship.

Richard Kay has the Opinion of Diana, but Diana used to change her mind often back then too. Lady Colin Campbell also knew Diana. Diana admitted to Lady C that she was the FIRST to cheat in that marriage with Barry Manakee. She also told Lady C that she didn’t blame Camilla for the way her marriage went. That it was all the “ yes” men surrounding her husband that she couldn’t stand. Diana actually asked Lady C to write her biography, but she wanted to be painted as a victim of the RF. Lady C declined the offer because she knew Diana wasn’t a victim. That’s when Diana went with Andrew Morton to write the book Instead. Diana left the RF because she said it was too stifling, always being told “ No, you can’t do that.” She didn’t really want to be Queen. I’m glad the truth is finally all coming out.

Pictures of Lady Diana with Prince Andrew in the same carriage, The Queen mother and Princess Margareth, The Queen on horseback, same was Prince Charles and Prince Philip. Wonderful memories for a young girl, so starstruck. That was the dramatic year of 1981, when the Queen was shot at with blanks. I didnt see or remember that, my mother told me later. I hope and pray we will see all of the Royals at Trooping the Colour this year. I wish them all well. A Norwegian Royalist. 😊

I have always thought that Price Charles has been a little worried about his acceptance by the public upon his ascension to the throne, and then on top of that, being worried about Camilla's acceptance. So I think he was very pleasantly surprised and happy that the Kingdom has embraced him fully, and is just as accepting of Queen Camilla. So King Charles looks relaxed when he is on walkabout because his main fears are gone and he can enjoy the moment of being King.

I agree King Charles and Queen Camilla are so happy together. The late Queen gave them her blessing. I for one am very happy for them both. They should have been allowed to marry years ago. Both Diana's and Charles grandmothers wouldn't allow them to marry they arranged Diana and Charles wedding so there would be an heir to the throne. Diana knew Charles loved Camilla but married him anyway. I think Queen Camilla is doing a wonderful job as is Princess Anne and the rest of the working Royal family. King Charles is a lovely caring man who's waited all his life to be King. I really hope he kicks cancers butt and rules for many years to come. This will give Prince William a chance to do his royal duties and be there for his beautiful wife and children. I also think Prince Andrew should be given a new role again as he hasn't been charged with anything. Plus he hasn't trashed his own family unlike Hazbeen and Megasaurus. They should stay in the USA.

You choose to forget that it turns out that Diana was an absolute nightmare behind the scenes. As for that Panorama interview, she subsequently admitted that most of what she said was lies. She forgot to mention that by that time, there were 6 in their marriage. By 1986, Catherine had had at least three affairs, which she admitted to subsequently.
She also admitted that essentially all she fed to Andrew Mortan was lies. She said all she wanted to do was desrtroy Charles and try to prevent him from becoming King. He was her children's father. They loved their father just as much as their mother. William did not speak to her for quite some time after the Panorama interview because he was so angry with her for what she did to his father.
She has been dead for almost 27 years. As always happens with time, we get to know more and , and more of the whole truth.
As the years have gone on, I find myself increasingly infurriated when people suggest that it was all his fault that his marriage fell apart. It is now clear from many sources that Diana must bear a huge amount of the blame. You need to move on and stop peddling an old myth.
Diana did a lot of great things. But it is often said that charity begins at home. I can no longer bring myself to feel that outways the destruction she often brought to those who loved and the other people around her.

Diana was emotionally unstable which is unfortunately a big part of the reason her marriage failed. They did love each other but Diana was insanely argumentative and temperamental, extremely jealous and wanted attention every second of the day. She exhausted Charles (who is the opposite to that). As an American, I thought a foreigner's view might be interesting of some of the changes. I've watched the royal family since Diana and Charles as I married about the same time. Andrew does seem to want to stay close to his family and he and Sarah still are somewhat outsiders, but the family obviously does care about his well-being. I do notice we consistently see him at church services and I don't feel that is a contrived publicity shot. They all have been brought up with that instilled reverence that their faith trumps all, even though they fall short, just like all of us. It's way too soon to try to bring him back into the active working role, however. Angela Levin seemed to have a coronary at seeing him on Easter Sunday, but gosh...he was at church! As far as Queen Camilla, I find her so endearing because she never seems to stop smiling. even after so many years of being shunned and defamed. She seems to have a grounding effect on everyone she comes in contact with...most importantly King Charles. I am so glad he has her in his life. I think he is coming of his own now that he is not in Queen Elizabeth's shadow. Not to slight the queen in any way, but she and Prince Phillip did seem to become more "robotic" in greeting the public in later years, and how could anyone blame them after 70 years! King Charles and Queen Camilla do seem more approachable and warm to those they greet! You can see the difference in the expressions in Charles as he meets different people. He is truly connecting! May he live a long life. We all do love William and Catherine....and are very tired of the emotional strain the other two put on EVERYONE!

She makes him content and happy which I don’t think Diana could have achieved. A lot of water has passed under the bridge. I have much admiration for her now.🇨🇦

Prince Andrew has already received all the onslaught of media and public outcry after the real interview aired! Why are you keeping it going because of the film reenactment of the said interview? This rebashing is so unnecessary, Sarah Vine! I agree with many, at least Prince Andrew hasn't ever trashed the Royal Family or his parents in a publication or an interview! Just leave him alone already.

Queen Camilla is a true example of elegance. She has always served, always been loyal. As far as I’m concerned she was always going to be queen once she married the future King. She his wife. He chose her. William recognised this and will look after her if she outlives our King.

Andrew needs to accept that he is persona non grata and should be grateful he's still able to stay in Royal Lodge. If he must have something to do, let it be something that never puts him in the public eye. I don’t understand why everyone is losing their minds over Prince Andrew attending church with his family on major Christian holidays. I am certainly not a Prince Andrew fan-although he has not been convicted of any crime, he’s been exposed as an arrogant, boorish fool-but everyone is welcome in church. It’s the best place for him, really. Hopefully it will result in a spirit of humility and contrition.
But I agree with the panel that he needs to be given something to do-behind the scenes. John Profumo is a great example of disgrace redeemed, but he was also a very intelligent, competent, well-educated person-Prince Andrew is not. However, surely he could devote himself to something? Working with animals? The status quo is not sustainable long-term.

Charles never stopped seeing Camilla, she made sure of that. Diana was too young and naive to know how to deal with someone who was an experienced lover, a confidante and a better listener than a young inexperienced wife. Had Camilla not been there Diana would have matured and her infatuation with Charles could have grown into a caring love. Instead she decided if he hasn't given up Camilla I'll try to make him jealous and had dubious affairs which resulted in her reputation suffering. Now, all we hear is how wonderful Camilla is and how awful Diana was because she had affairs
