- In March 2024, I travelled on the Havila Cappella along the coast of Norway, from Bergen to Kirkeness and back again. It was the most amazing journey, through some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. I was travelling with Arne and Carlos and a group of my lovely Patrons, sewing and knitting all day and enjoying the excursions on offer.

I usually watch Kate's video's before I go to sleep on a Sunday evening... mostly they inspire me to start thinking about a new project, probably not the best sleep therapy!
BUT ...yesterday I worked all day on a block print dressing gown for my daughter . She is taking a mid term pregnany break and couldn't find a suitably wrap to wear.
I managed to finish it , but was so boggle eyed and aching , that I thought I'd wait to watch Kate until today!😅

Your trip was a lifetime experience for you. My cousin is from Norway, first generation. There is a town named after them called Stendal. They go back a few years to visit and hike. I had an eerie feeling watching your video. I think I am definitely a prairie girl at heart, but I love oceans and mountains. I need sunshine at least three days a week, lol. Our daughter and her guy also traveled in Feb/March this year. She decided to try to marathon in Japan. They are still pinching themselves. So glad you all had this opportunity to travel..I'm content now, to just enjoy the parks and towns that we can of the USA.
