I use Dropps Pods (unscented/sensitive). I think that they work great. However, for really stinky laundry, I add baking soda to the wash. The combination knocks out all the odors. I also pre-treat for stains just like I have done before using Dropps. Combining old fashioned washing soda with hydrogen peroxide = oxiclean. Its a cheap and effective pre-treater. And buying the peroxide by the gallon cuts down on plastic and shipping. I will be trying the Dropps fabric softener for the first time. I wish that part of the product line was reviewed in this video though.

I have Dropps, and I love it! Even more, I love your video that didn't paint Dropps in the picture of perfection for zero waste enthusiasts. I'm happy someone else mentioned the little gloopy glob in the mesh bag when washing with cold water. Warm water has it dissolve without leaving a glob for me as well. I had tried the original stain and odor formula, then switched to the sensitive skin scented with scent booster pods. They are all great products for me, and I recommend as well.

I have use the washing sheets which can be torn or cut into the size needed for the load. They seem to work very well, and as far as the Dropp fabric softener cubes I have a HE washing machine I tore the bag and put it right in the fabric softener dispenser, I did not put a fabric softener sheet in the dryer, and it seemed to have worked very well. 👍🏽✌🏽🌹💚🌎🇺🇸🌹

I have used Dropps for years. Actually the 1/2 load pod with cold water works fine for us. Sensitive skin is the way to go, why wouldn't you want something that is kinder to your skin? I've never had one not dissolve. I like my laundry to not have chemical or fake scent smells. We signed my mom up for them as it is a much safer option for her since it arrives at her door instead of her having to carry a jug or box. We spray pits or stains with vinegar before washing and did the same prior to Dropps.

I’ve never really liked detergent pods, I’ve tried a couple over the years (standard ones not eco) and maybe it’s my imagination but they don’t work as well as liquid or powder. We recently started using Earth Breeze and it works really well, I like unscented soap as clothes don’t need to have fragrance on them lol. We typically add baking soda to stinky loads which works beautifully.

Something to note is what the goopiness would do in an He washer. Bc you load it into the detergent reservoir the goop will likely stay in there and never reach your clothes. Also you’re probably using a cold setting to reduce energy but it might not be warm enough to dissolve. Thx for the review?

Great review! I would probably use the sensitive skin one as I'm super sensitive to fragrance/strong detergents due to my rosacea, but sometimes if i have pit stains/an extra smelly load of laundry, Ill put some baking soda in with my wash. I feel like baking soda usually comes in a cardboard box, so its a good plastic free option!

Since I haven’t heard you comment on this aspect, I’m curious if you ever read the ingredients listed on these products?
I was looking for cleaning reviews on Branch Basics when I came across your content.
So after seeing a few of your other product videos I went to research their ingredients.
Sadly I was disappointed by what I found.
While I love the concept, I’m more Concerned about overall heath risks. Sustainability for the planet is awesome but I feel we should Be focused on making our bodies just as green.
Now if I was only worried about packaging/cleaning power, products like cleancult, bluland and drops would be fine.
Then again if it wasn’t for the plastic most would prob still be using brands like method or Ms. Meyers which are also anything but natural.
So why no just use cardboard boxes Of certain mainstream detergents? Could be just as “green” plus it would save people Money.
I’m hope you don’t Find what I’m saying to be rude.
I really do appreciate your time & Dedication on your videos, I know how consuming they can be.
Im just frustrated with our countries lack of health mandates in the cleaning industry.
We’ve been lied to for years because there’s no laws in
The United States on disclosing ingredients so they get away w false advertising.
Now with this new market to corner these companies are taking Green Washing to a whole new manipulative level, which I find very unsettling.
