Executor lost its main dev over a year ago.
I think there's a Executor Redux mod that's still active.
@TaylorPrem I'm a big fan of that one but last I played the star wars tech was just re-skinned Earth tech which really put me off.
I’m in the discord, the redux mod went out of action, but devs from both are now working on a third version ‘Executrix’, reprioritising the Empire again, should expect content somewhere between this year and the early 2025
The imperial navy is insanely large in this mod. The only way to defeat it is to use the massive ahead of time bonuses in the rebel tree to rush 1944 carriers and naval bombers, and to get a task force of 4 carriers, 6 battleships and light attack light cruisers
So just pull a midway ?

I played this mod before and if you want to win naval battles…. (Use submarines they don’t have many depth charges)

Played this mod yesterday weirdly enough and it was such a blast. I played as Kotas militia though. There are quite a few bugs with some of the focuses though

The map fries my brain (because I'm dumb) but otherwise seems like a very neat mod
I'm not colourblind but I truly can't tell anything from anything in the map. And zoomed out, then names are too tiny to read. I humbly think that is the main thing holding the mod back.
This mod feels so refreshing you should definitely try it again.

I never thought that in HOI4, I'd be using stormtroopers to conquer the galaxy, but hey, at least they hit the rebels... occasionally.
Hey Alex, could you maybe one day play as free Ryloth and liberate the Twi'leks, while making sure that the Galaxy will never treat them like objects again?

One of my favorite overhaul mods that I regularly play. My only problems is that its too dark for me, and the way hoi navy works doesn’t translate well into Star Wars, with hyperspace lanes or even just ai production/combat

As cool as this mod looks, it doesn't come off as remotely balanced. Playing any of the rebel factions is like trying to win regular HOI 4 as Luxembourg.

I just want to play as Mandalorian and not the Edgy ones of the Deathwatch but the true Mandalorians. Ya' know... here a Crusade, there some A-Bombs and a bunch of Basilik Wardroids to do some good ol' classic Wars against the Republic and/or the Empire. Easy and simple.
You can tell which Galactic Civil War mod this is because of the animated main menu screen lol

Alex you are treating this like hoi 4 trying to bum rush capitals, you shouldnt. Treat this like a galaxy, you have so many evenfs that can help you, so focus where the enemy is weak, and dont build everything on a single planet that in canon, gets destroyed, even if you didnt lose it, it would have still been desth starred and all your industry would jave been wasted

I love democracy
I don't see why people are modding a ww2 game for Sci fi or lord of the rings. Seems like a weird fit. Lotr in particular doesent seem to jive with a game that has airplanes and tanks.
