And yet, we survived. I might have agreed with you that u.s. influence was going to decline, just as a natural consequence of the world becoming multipolar again, before the Ukraine War. Now look at the state of things. Russia, a traditional rival, brought to its fucking knees. Europe buying more gas from us than Russia! America has become the arsenal of democracy again and we've shown our shit is top tier. All the damage of the withdrawal to U.S. prestige, undone by the newfound unity of NATO and the other democracies of the world in the face of Russia.

I think the devs in this mod decided Kuwait to be the place for where you start because in Star Wars there is a planet called Kuat (Kuu-wat) which is a very important and prestigious ship manufacturing planet for the Empire

-For one the speed seem to be either slower or similar.
-It has worse maneubravility.
-Worse visibility thanks to huge wings and no radar whatsoever (just an aimer).
-And the muzzle velocity of his laser weapon is dramatically slower than in WW2 firearms, making it much harder to hit a Soviet plane, while the opposite is for said Soviet plane.
I wouldn't say it will necessarily be a slaughter, but the odds doesn't look good.

They do have radar. It just that all Imperial Starships including the smallest one-man fighters, incorporate sensor jamming equipment. According to SWICS, advanced TIE fighters employ sophisticated sensor suites that "must overcome the extremely powerful jamming signals used by all combat craft". The Death Star also employed "hundreds of Kuat Drive Yards 220-SIG tactical jammers" that prevented the attacking X-Wings from being able to use their onboard sensors (ref. SWEGWT). And of course, the Imperial fleet broadcast so much sensor interference during the Battle of Endor that the Rebel fleet was unable to determine whether the DS2 shield was up or down until they destroyed the fleet's primary communications ship (ref. ROTJ novelization). This is why high-powered jammers inevitably reduce combat ranges to visual sighting ranges; it is impossible to target ships at long range through a blanket of white noise, but a combination of sensor targeting and manual control can be more effective at close range.

Nope, even a mere laser cannon is far faster than anything that WW2 weaponry possess. A blaster bolt is pretty fast. There's the battle of Ringo Vinda from TCW:

At this particular timeframe, you could clearly see that the blaster bolts are even way more faster than the starfighters. Furthermore, it should be noted that starships in atmosphere are capable of moving speeds such as this:

There are many other examples such as the Battle of Teth, Battle of Geonosis, Battle of Kashyyyk, and many other such situations. In which we do see blaster bolts going faster than the number that you had listed.

You can see at the beginning itself, blaster bolts from B1 droid carbines and Clone Trooper rifles travelling several hundred metres down/up the cliff face in an instant.

From 1:10 onward you can see Clone Troopers and battle droids exchange small arms fire across a vast distance. Those core ships on the far side are 696 metres in diameter. You can get the distance using them as a reference. There is another such scene 2:18 onward, where you can see Clone small arms fire traversing a vast distance of several hundred metres (or more) in an instant.

In the last half minute (1:50), there is a scene where Clone Troopers in a Wroshyr tree can be seen firing at advancing CIS forces in the water. You can clearly see their blaster bolts travelling hundreds of metres instantly.
A laser cannon would be faster than your blaster bolt.
A Star Wars military starfighter would destroy and annihilate every single type of WW2 fighters with such utter ease by the facts that I had presented.

I like that the storm troopers are just as useless in combat as in the movies
They're really only useless in _Return of the Jedi._ In _A New Hope_ and _The Empire Strikes Back,_ they outperform non-named Rebel soldiers in combat. Examples being the boarding of Tantive IV and the assault on Echo Base. They are also pretty competent in recent books and comics. It's only Episode VI and shows like Star Wars: Rebels that makes them look like fools.

even tie fighters are not that bad either they are outperform everything the rebellion has, but like before it can´t be shown because so no story would have happend.
one of my most favourite mod. It adds alot of content without breaking the AI. The focus tree takes quite a bit of time but is never boring since you always have something to do.
Only problem is Germany often steals the show.

I do love whenever Alex says “why can I not beat them” meanwhile you take a look at the supplies of his units and they are all yellow or red.
Without having pressed the button that makes it so that his armies will stop getting supplies with horses
A good thing to do is when you cannot push press f4 NOT alt-f4 since f4 is the supply map so you can see where you have shit supplies, and also use trucks instead of horses for transporting supplies from the supply hubs.
There is a button on the field marshal (and any army but that is not as important) in the top left where it shows a horse if you click on that it turns into a truck and if you click again it turns into a double truck icon, which means that they will use extra trucks (which is not much) to get supplies and supply hubs will work in an increased distance.
The supply hubs also have this button but then you would have to micro a lot more since pressing the button on the field marshal makes it so that all the armies will get supplies with double trucks instead of horses
Wait… that’s an option?!? Good god now I see why all of the beginner tutorials to HOI4 are the length of an episode of a streaming service’s original show, except with more episodes overall.

You don’t need to fight Yemen, once you have enough fielded manpower you get the option to intimidate and you’ll just annex them. Also you can research the trains, you don’t need to swap to vanilla tech

The British will reverse engineer the E-11. While unable to produce blaster bolts they find the over all design could work for an open bolt submachine gun.

Well considering at one time it was cannon that say, an X-Wing and a TIE Fighter had top speeds of 100 km per hour... yeah, they're actually WORSE than WW1 era Biplanes. Not to mention their aerodynamics being worse.
Now later sources would realize they fudged up and start changing that. But yeah.
yeah but from what i can find now tie fighters top speed is around 1200 kph which is pretty fast for its not very aerodynamical shape

The stormtrooper models are first order stormtroopers and that is one of the most irritating things I have ever seen in a mod (I don’t play that many mods so this is a pretty low bar)

You can't really tell from far away usually but yeah it drove me nuts when I looked at them in the division designer for the first time
Its hard to believe, but stormtroopers would be really OP here. Pretty much infinite ammo, so supply would be much easier, plus stormtrooper armor in the lore is pretty much impervious to conventional small arms, called "slugthrowers" in star wars.

Isn't the stormtrooper's standard armor not able to really protect from bullets? I know regular guns in the Star Wars universe, but aren't very common.
they are able too protect the stormtrooper from anything we have. there armor is not as bad like the movies shows, they are more effective than most think. but remember anything you see in the movies happends because the plot demands it.
in legend books and others you can see that stormtroppers armor aare very effective against anything.
and remember in the george lucas movies it was an inside joke that the stormtroopers can`t hit anything or that there armor is useless against anything. they are not they wear the armor because it is very protective and they can hit targets very well. but it can`t be shown in movies because so the empire would easily defeat anything.
Shame we can't choose where they land that would be interesting
