In theory Meta knight doesn't have armor,unless you count his "shoulder pads" on newer games.
Doesn't his mask double as armor? It only breaks when you beat him.
I could swear that every episode just gets exponentially better. You're probably the most talented team of animators I've ever seen. Beginning to end, this fight was just the pure essence of awesome.
As for a match-up idea... maybe Richter Belmont vs Jonathan Joestar? The ending could maybe even be them teaming up to hunt DIO and Dracula

Yeah, I know, my writing made it sound serious, xD, but the actual problem isn't that, since they can just equalize power and speed and have them duking it out (no research), the problem is that a battle royal would be difficult for OMM, but I agree that it would be really cool.

After playing Shovel Knight and watching this, I realized that you can take any ordinary object, turn it into a weapon, and making it look cool as hell.
For a moment I was like "WHAT IS THAT BONFIRE FROM DARK SOULS DOING THERE!?", and then once shovel knight pulled the flaming shovel, I was like. "oh".
I wanted shovel knight to win, but it was a little bit obvious, that meta knight would win

Lol it really wouldn't. The only thing that would be different is their motives I guess. Meta Knight believes in a fair fight, while Dark Meta Knight usually fights with the intent to kill.
This almost makes up for Nintendo's version not having an exclusive boss battle like Kratos or the Battletoads.

Garytina But Capcom is kind of like a prostitute that sells themselves to the highest payment. And Gunvolt (the ACTUAL spiritual successor the the blue bomber) is only in Nintendo systems, also, all classic Mega Man games are for Nintendo systems, as well as some X games.
This is one of my favorite OMMs. The battle is fast paced and exciting, never a boring or empty moment. And you can feel the powerful impact of every hit. It's so crisp, action filled, and just awesome!
Looking back on this, I still love the twist that the Meta Knight fighting was actually Dark Meta Knight

fyi, Meta Knight would have beaten Shovel Knight anyway. Meta Knight defeated Galacta Knight (technically a mortal GOD that can destroy planets) and is about thousands of years old (500,000 I think) which means he has loads of battle experience.
I'm not sure if they gave Galacta Knight a canonical age, but was stated to be from a "forgotten time", so no doubt he's lived for an incredibly long time.

Nico Robin is so far from having the sliver ghost of a chance of being close to even thinking that she might have something ressembling a possibility to be close to warming up Bayonetta.
I don't know which of the Alucards would win, and I think that Mu-12 would beat A-18. Shao Kahn and Dedede have absolutely nothing in common I can think of, other than a hammer, and Kahn uses many more things, so I don't understand that request. For the rest of battles, I don't know at least one of the two members of the pairing, I feel uncultered now.
