Is there a point to using your thumb to mute the string when doing fingerstyle like this? Or is it just so you get used to always doing it? Genuine question :)
@@jaysonteixeria195 no, its not how Radiohead plays it. but it works you CAN play it like this as shown but Watch ( live at Rock Am ring 1994 ) it shows Ed O'brien how he plays it.
@ClintonMcglone- well it's just the same but hes barring the chord? The strumming looks correct tho right? I don't personally think it's not "correct" just because he's not barring the chord.

@@euciel1 This is great help for those players who have a thumb long enough to go over the top. Maybe 5% of players
Lmao that’s what I was thinking, but I guess if it works, it works 💪
Hendrix grip goes wild
@chuckdavis5300 "It's a habit, man. I can't play unless my thumb is on top."
The tremolo pedal make this riff sounds trippy
I was a little confused at first lol. I have a lot to learn about guitar.
Don't worry, learning guitar takes time and practice. Keep at it and you'll get the hang of it!
Thanks you brother @@yga
David Bowies favourite chord of all time. He used it on soooo many of his hits but played on a twelve string. Star man for example.
Unrecognizable, impressive
I mean the thumb barre is good for some chord progressions but this feels like it just could’ve been barred it normally 😅
On an electrical guitar, yes. On my western, I'm having a hard time on barres and this was an interesting alternative
Just moving to an electric, that's more delay than I expected. I'm off to try it. 👍🖖

Can i see how you pick the string?
Is there capo?
no need for a capo on this one!
Without capo
as long as there is no open notes, you're fine, just put it on the 3rd fret

It's a tremolo effect on the guitar
I don't understand that number. someone please tell me😭😭
Now do it without the missed string, the sloppy picking and the buzzing.
