I think Ringo did a terrific job on this one with perfect interpreting and perfect timing. He's definitely great vocal performer and his drumming skills probably helped him a lot for the timing on this one. I think he took a great advantage in having at his side IMO the two best vocalists of all times and this demostrates further his cleverness.
yeah bro voice was simply not his bread
Dude, I saw this video 10 years ago for a parody I was recording for a school project. I did all the harmonies. Now 10 years later, I’m making a proper cover of the song using the harmonies you taught in this video. Full circle. Thank you for all you’ve done with your videos. Fond memories
Yeah good attitude! When I was very young I used to steal the old record player my parents from the dining room, carry it along to my bedroom, laying down on the floor nose up with the two speakers each at both side of my head and do the same thing. This is how I learned ;)
Thank you for this wonderful and very accurate lesson. My band will be performing this song for the first time at the end of this summer (‘22) with our drummer on lead vocals to keep it authentic 😉. We haven’t played together since the pandemic began. Our channel is but a grain of sand among UA-cam giants but we will link this video as a special thanks all the same!
Thank you for this! I just found you! These Beatle "intricacies" I have listened to for decades but were too obscure to discover on my own, I now have you to explain. thank you! you've helped my thought processes on this before I've even picked up my guitar. i love the way you present the lesson with multiple visual images to follow on screen for the various vocal parts and the subtle rhythmic variations of johns genius rhythm guitar
Love all of your videos! Extremely accurate and beyond helpful! thank you!!
Can you please show how to sing the "Billy shears" part in the start of the song?
Listen to the LP!
I think it is a major chord progression
G C E
A D F#
B E G#
Astonishing! It's amazing how accurately you reproduce these songs! For me, this is one of your best works. I think your voice is a mix of all the four Beatles' voices :) Keep up the great work, lovely greetings from Austria!
Lo mejor que he oído en mi vida acerca del desglose armónico de las canciones de Los Beatles.
Gracias Galeazzo Frudua.Un abrazo enorme desde Uruguay.!!!
(fanático de Los Fab Four).
Happy new year Folks With a little help from your friend!
most comprehensive, and your recreations are uncannily reminiscent. subbed.

I get chills with a little help from Galeazzo. Wonderful - thank you!
Happy New Year! You have provided a LOT of help, my friend! Thank you. Look forward to a lot more vocals from you this year!!
Thank you very much for your videos ! They are so helpful for my cover band !
You nailed the FRIENDS part
You just keep getting better! I truly admire you. May the good karma be always with you
yep, i'm hooked
This is not necessary . I learned to sing on my own listening to records. You have it or you don't! Rick Bloom (Drums,Vocals) Beatlemania 1978.(Second drummer with original cast only because I'm from Boston and didn't know back in 1976 when they held auditions in NYC) I am in NYC now 42 years.
Happy New Year Gale !! :-) very good job !!
THANKS! I recently recorded this in the Beatle tribute I'm with and I wished I'd seen this video first. My lead vocal could be much better. I'm going to work on this in Logic with a Karaoke track to try and incorporate your pointers with regards to the lead vocal. I also watched your video on how to sing 4 times better. Great help too. Thanks again!! John
What about the "Billy Shears" intro??
I dig all your vids. You do a great job breaking down the songs.
Thanks, Galeazzo. Your lesson on this song allowed me and my Beatles tribute band to play live this song perfectly. You rock!!!!
Hey, I just found your videos after I started exploring the harmonic writing of the Beatles, you do a wonderfully detailed analysis, it's been incredibly helpful!
Another good one. Galeazzo, you're the best! Happy New Year!
Your the best thing on U tube and to the enlightenment of the Beatles and how they fomed their great vocals. Superb is the word that comes to mind.
For those asking about the Billy Shears part it is c-d-e on the lower part and e - f#-g# on the upper part.
I just love your videos. I'd love to see you sing the complete song (with all parts) but I know you're just trying to teach the finer points of the harmonies. But it sure sounds great when you sing all the vocals together! Keep them coming. Love it!
Outstanding audio!
Love this channel. Best thing on UA-cam
Thank you I´ve leard so much from you. I´m also a drummer like Ringo know Im able to sing this song.
Thanks a lot!!!!
bravo bravo!!!!...always great always perfect galeazzo!!!....another awesome videos!!!.....
Fantastico! Ora aspetto con ansia Rain.
awesome lesson! thanks galeazzo
I like on how I can hear that Ringo voice when you sing his part. It always makes me laugh a bit.
bravissimo, non sono un cantante, ma conosco tutte i pezzi dei beatles e le spiegazioni sono fantastiche. Bravo!
This man is a legend
"Something for you !" ;) I get the reference. Very helpful videos as always, GF. Thank you very much !
just found your videos, they are helpful and entertaining, really glad i found them, ... be seeing you!
A happy song by Ringo! A favorite of my son and his high school rock band. It was a favorite sing-a-long song!
Eres increible hermano. Saludos desde México.
Sólo me gusta oír copias de los Beatles si las cantas tú!, eres un gran maestro!
Great!
Remarkable, the story of the Beatles going to work and then going home, as a job, seems so counter to the image we cultivated of four buddies just having fun in the studio. I also begin to think Paul's perfectionist attitude shaped a great deal of the uniqueness of the Beatle's music, though saying Paul was the reason for their success would be disingenuous. Great stuff, terrific material.
4:55 Ringo
5:38 John
6:38 Paul
Thumbs-up and Happy New Year. I very much appreciate all of your work and effort in making these videos, and bringing to light the subtle nuances of The Beatles' music. I will be posting your videos to my FB page. Hopefully, it will help a little in bringing new viewers to your channel.
Complimenti, sei bravissimo! E complimenti per le lezioni ;D
Very very good! Most entertaining as well.
EXCELENTE!!!!!
Yes. Rather than to highlight my vocal abilities, this is for you to enjoy and learn the different parts.
thanks happy new year
This is great!
Sometimes I do it with just one acoustic guitar, sometimes I use the original basetrack depends on the effect and the type of tune and arrangement. I choose depending on what creates the best effet to demonstrate the purpose.
Excellent!
Ivan de la Garza :)
Thank you so much !!
thanks a lot man.
i'm a big fan of the beatles when i tried to sing like ringo starr but it's very very very difficult for me
Muito bom 👏🏽👏🏽
great, thanks :)... i love The Beatles... I love Ringo´s voice in this song are so very cute haha :)
Happy new year my friend
Great video I’m a drummer trying to sing this song. I do the best I can this helps
Grazze!!
This was great as usual but now you've put in a full backing track. It's great! You used to just play guitar. Is the backing track your group? Very authentic sound.
Happy New Year to you.
Impagabile come sempre! Chi fa bei video il primo dell'anno fa bei video tutto l'anno
Video is great and just as clear as always. Some of these harmonies are so hard to pick out, and it's just that much more impressive. I really do have a lot of respect for you, Mr. Galeazzo, and thank you for the wonderful video.
I also have a question: will you ever cover the harmonies for I Wanna Be Your Man? I enjoy that song a lot, but I can only really hear two of the voices, but I know there's at least three there.
Awesome video as usual. I always thought George sung in the backing vocals, but was not heard as loud as Lennon and McCartney. Thanks for breaking it down for me :)
I think George is singing unison with John
Sure!
Vabè Galeazzo, buon anno nuovo insomma! :D
Happy new year, you're doing a great job, I love to watch every videos you're making.
Just a question: my second favorite group is/are the Bee Gees...Have you ever tried to make video upon their vocal harmonies ?
cool video dude!! cheers... nice voice.
Even if you had seen the book, your videos offer tons of information that could never be conveyed in transcribed music. And they're more fun than looking at dots on a page. I wish I had the ear and the voice to take full advantage of your insights.
FYI from multi-tracks, backing vocals were recorded twice. Nice work!
I've just found you on youtube. What a find! Really good lessons.
Thanks
Do you make your on backing tracks?
Galeazzo sei un genio
Galeazzo, Happy New Year, bro! Another mind-boggling analysis. I USED to think Ringo's songs were just there as novelties. No more. Goodness gracious. Many thanks. Do you do this all with just your ear? Or, perhaps have access to separated tracks?
HI, frankly not I donì't have that book, But a lot of people is talking me about it. I must be sincere. The more I go into these wonderful tunes, which I did for simply let people like me enjoying the same joy I do when I play and sing them, the more I think they deserved some more accurate insight.
Happy new Year Beatles Professor!
First time I saw some have found Ringo's singing ability and showed how hard to sing this song otherwise marked as a silly song by so called pundits. Thanks million!
I did a cover of "You've got to hide your love away" using your instrumental lessons, thank you Gale
Excellent! But now for the challenge...can you sing any Beatles song and the accompanying harmony parts in Italian and make it sound as good and make the words/harmony fit! I'm waiting to hear. And by the way, I do love your tutorials immensely.
Thank you for taking the time making these outstanding videos, I have really enjoyed them.
Simply amazing.. thanks a lot for this and all the other harmony videos. Happy 2013.
Joy!
Perfect, as always!
You have no idea of the service you provide to the bands that play Beatles!
The next will be Lovely Rita?
awesome
Frudua, you really should do a band covering the beatles!! A tribute, you would be the better!!! Just find some guys that can help you with that!
He should team up with Mike pachelli who would be the john Lennon guitar and vocals to his impeccable Paul impersonation! It would be an awesome tribute act in the making imo !
On the Beatles at the BBC collection George and Paul sing a nice duet version of Carole King's "Don't Ever Change." (See it on UA-cam.) That would make great practice for capturing their singular harmonizing. Galeazzo, Do you ever refer to The Beatles Complete Scores? What's your opinion on how accurate they are compared with your ear?
Hey, Galeazzo -- great job singing this... you did an excellent job as always. Have you ever come across the track breakdown on this? On Ringo's vocal track, they sing the part you list as "John" (the lower harmony) during the bridge and the answering phrases ("Would you believe" and so forth), and then they overdubbed the high harmony (and harmonies on the chorus) on the second track! You can hear John's voice crack on the second bridge when they sing "Do you need anybody"! :)
Im your fan dude, really hahaha
Arriva. Ho ricreato anche il suono delle chitare.
Believe me if I say that Paul had a VERY remarkable role in the Beatles success. More than a lot of us think.
you rock
I like the background on the original track. They made the song only involving 4-5 notes so it would be fairly easy for him.
Great video. I'm applying your ideas and suggestions to an original recording that will benefit from the same treatment.
Did you make the instrumental background for this too, the particular one you're singing over that is?
Awesome tutorial! But it's missing the "Billy Shears" part!
Oh, i wish i could sing as good as you 0.0
Studio Project B3
When i'm watching your videos, I feel like a noob... Well, I'm a noob :D!!!
I am studying some videos on Beach Boys, Bee Gees, Simon & Garfunkel, Eagles and a few otheres, I'll post the videos in my other youtube channel learnvocalharmony keep an eye.
