By putting the horn track on the vocal track when he wasn't singing, they saved a recording track....something you didn't have unlimited amounts of back then.

I think this version is from the Love album, which made a number of edits to the Beatles’ songs from mashing up multiple songs to abridging them a tad. I’m guessing the person who uploaded this found it easier to isolate the vocals from there because the Love album is mixed differently from the original single. Check it out if you haven’t already, it’s pretty neat.

On further inspection, this is probably from the Anthology 2 collection, which the Love album utilized on occasion. The point still stands that the uploader did not intentionally omit the last verse.

overloading pre amp and using a fairchild 660. Sax had mike in bell. Almost all Beatle vocal tracks early on were pre-compressed with a fairchild 660 and cut that way. Limited after tracked.
