I actually included that information in my video titled “how to get started selling your crochet pieces” it’s linked in the description on this video! It’s much easier to refer you to that video instead of trying to explain it all here :)
Make these as crocheted friendship brackets. So fast within minutes done. And always carry all yarn colors and crochet hooks. That you can make them too what the customer wants.
Have a craft fair in two months, I've been procrastinating on everything 😭 my anxiety is now scared so now I'm finally doing some research and working on it
All of these ideas are super helpful. I have 3 shows coming up in October and November. I have alot of the plushies that you mentioned already made up. I will be looking at making more. Thank you for so many super cute ideas.
Thank you for such a great video. I do not sell at markets, but I do a lot of gift giving. I checked out your website and I am truly amazed! You're such a gift!!
Katie, thank you for the tips for selling projects at craft fairs. I crochet, and usually give my projects away or donate them. I don't get out much, but for months now I hàve been wondering about craft shows and such. I believe I might just try the "show scene". Thank you.
I don’t make tutorials on these patterns because they are not my designs, I have a lot of tutorials on my channel for my own patterns though if you’d like to check those out :)
I think having a few of both would be good! Since Halloween won’t be over yet it should still sell pretty well and if you’re worried about having Halloween products left over you could also focus on Fall items (like pumpkins, candy corns, etc) because those should sell into November as well :)
First time watching you and found your videos very helpful! Of course I subscribed. Please show what would sell for Easter craft fairs. I live in Ohio and craft fairs are common around springtime.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! So glad you find my videos helpful! I haven’t done any Easter craft fairs yet but if I do one I can definitely make a video like that :)
Ooh, that little bat amigurumi is adorable. I will need to give amigurumi another try, the last time was when it just was getting started and the written patterns were not fabulous.
I think you should definitely give it another try! Things have definitely changed a lot and I find most patterns are pretty well written and some even include pictures and tutorials!
can you sell everything you find crocheted on the internet or do you have to look for patterns where the owner has agreed that the patterns can be sold? If so, how do I find such patterns?
So glad you enjoy my videos! I think you’ll find this video on how to get started at markets helpful because I also mentioned how to find events in your area: ua-cam.com/video/2OLMxWBzEbw/v-deo.html 🥰❤️
Really informative, thank you. If a pattern is free online, does that mean you are free to sell whatever you make from such a pattern? Many thanks from the UK
You’re welcome! It depends on the pattern and the designer, it’s normally listed within the pattern whether you’re able to sell items you make with the pattern or if it’s only for personal use :)
No problem! There’s a lot of different ways you can find markets and I talked about them here: ua-cam.com/video/2OLMxWBzEbw/v-deo.html just easier to link the video for you so you get all the information instead of trying to type it all out :)
That’s up to you! If you already have yarn that you want to use up then that’s perfect or if you want to buy some yarns to use that works too! I do recommend trying to shop when yarns are on sale if you do want to invest in new yarn
I talked about that in this video: ua-cam.com/video/2OLMxWBzEbw/v-deo.html as well as how to get started with markets in general, just easier to link you to the video instead of trying to explain everything here :)
People say this all the time! I have thyroid issues and it causes my voice to be shaky sometimes. I’m not offended by it, but you never know when something like this could be a medical issue that someone can’t help
@@Rozalyn508 yes I do, but still been doing back and forth to try to get the levels right for about a year now. I’ve done full videos on it on my second channel (more katiebeingcreative) if you’re interested in hearing more details
I sell my patterns on Etsy and Ribblr and for free patterns some are on my Instagram but they are all on Ribblr, I’m katiebeingcreative everywhere and there’s always links in the description of all of my videos 🥰
How do you price your items?
I actually included that information in my video titled “how to get started selling your crochet pieces” it’s linked in the description on this video! It’s much easier to refer you to that video instead of trying to explain it all here :)
Thanks or the info
i reccomend using this formula
price of materials + (hours it took to make x how much you wanna be payed buy the hour)
I actually just posted an updated video on exactly how I price my items with the app I use to track the time and explain that in the video too :)

Beanies sell so well where I live XD In Canada we get -30 to -40 celsius in the winter. That and scarves and mittens, very popular items.
My Floridan self didn’t even think about that LOL! I’m sure those would sell very well!!
Thank you Katie! All of these look fantastic. Do you have a pattern for the little penguin in your backgroun? Looks adorable!

Oh yes try this one I made it in the mini version. The easiest pattern of bunnies I've found.
That’s great then!
A lot of the "pretty detailed" ones can be simplified with pom poms, ribbon, and fabric paints.
That is very true!

Can u give prices
How do you know when its okay to use someone's pattern for a product that you want to make to sell?
Most designers write it in the pattern :)
Are the eyes glued or embroidered?
It depends on the project, most are safety eyes but you can really make eyes however you’d like!
Where are you located, US?
as someone with a business i immediately clicked.
I hope you found some helpful pattern ideas! :)
