- Amutt Time remastered! New HD picture with the same old low resolution jokes! The original Stalled Trek parody from 2012. I went back to the original elements and reassembled it in HD for inclusion on the Stalled Trek: The City on the Edge of Foreclosure blu ray. Amutt Time is an Animated Puppet Parody of the classic Trek episode, Amok Time.
Why doesn't this have more views? This is hilarious.

It's a reupload so there are actually 1000s more views that happened before this one. That it is not in the millions is because enough people have not shared it with their friends to make it go viral.
One of the first scripts on national tv written by a woman.DC Fontana invented almost all Vulcan customs with this episode.
Yes, she was a fantastic writer , actually cared about her job and the lore of the show.
I only know this from watching a star trek documentary someone had made on youtube.
You'd think she'd be celebrated more these days, but I'd never heard of her - or ,maybe not paid enough attention !

The first time I was able to watch Amutt Time with an audience, the reaction to that joke was a sound I'd never heard before. A mix of laughing, gasping, shock and indignation. :-)

This is the first video of yours I've come across, and it's brilliant. I almost thought it was puppets at the beginning, so good job with textures! The voice acting was right in the sweet spot between "imitation" and "parody". Well done!

I think it's starting to get some sort of traction with that bloody algorithm because I have noticed that a lot of these comments have all been made within the last 4 weeks , yet the video has been up for 2 years!
I bet Mike stoklasa and rich evans would like this they are massive ST fans. They've got 1.5 million subscribers at red letter media channel, if they just tweeted about it only once imagine all the views this would get.

It's interesting the guys are puppets while the women more humanoid but it's not jarring at all. You really mastered those splines (unlike myself who retreated back to poly modeling tinkering)
Thanks! Yeah, I liken it to The Flintstones. I'm no longer splining. Had to switch to Blender in 2019 and haven't looked back!
