Honestly, the fact that she’s so “bottom heavy,” or I guess “pear shaped,” is probably the reason she’s still as mobile as she is. And why she hasn’t really experienced any cardiac or respiratory issues. It’s actually ‘healthier’ (not to be confused with healthy… it’s just less bad) to carry weight in your legs and butt rather than your stomach, since having excess adipose tissue surrounding your vital organs is (generally) a much more serious problem than having it on your arms and legs. If she carried her weight more evenly or was more of an “apple” shape, she would probably be in a much worse state medically
She keeps saying she is so active and social, even though we all see the bedridden woman who pays or blackmails people to spend time with her. It’s really is so sad- she is the biggest I have seen her and seems to be unable to walk well on her own.

I’m 16 years old and I’m nothing like her. Though I feel it’s worth noting that I’m something of an outlier when it comes to highschool juniors (antisocial, not into sex, drugs, or alcohol, and attention to grammar that my classmates would tell you is irritating), so perhaps I’m not the best testament to how the majority of children act. She's arrested developmentally. It's kind of sad, when you think about it. She's got dysmorphia that makes her believe she's far smaller than she is, and with the mental and emotional maturity to match. I'm all for being an energetic adult, but purposefully mispronouncing words, screaming at exciting things, being a nuisance, and wearing nothing but costume jewelry does not an adult make. Don't get me wrong, costume jewelry is okay for a cheap alternative if you want a "gold" piece for an outfit, but the jewelry she wears is all very "teenager-y".

Well 240lbs in 8 years is 30lbs per year and 2,5 per month so its actually not that bad. However It is a weight loss channel lol and shes had months where she either wasnt gaining or losing weight, and then months where she binge eats so much that she gains 20lbs in a month 😅 I think thats more concerning than someone just gaining 2,5lbs per month
When youre young its no problem. Now shes 31. I believe we don't see her daily life anymore because she has lost a lot of mobility. She doesn't leave her apartment, blames it on covid when really its her health.
Actually bigger people are more flexible then you think, but over time you do lose it a bit. Tho people like me that are double jointed aka hyper mobile will still be very very flexible even later in life

I can't even imagine putting oneself through something like that for two years, especially after practically wasting away from all the weight loss and constantly bleeding I endured for an entire three months just waiting for the partial hysterectomy surgery.
She was never "great". Any kindness or sweet nature she showed on camera in the early days was an act, her true self is the obnoxious, vulgar, abusive bully she exposed herself as on her current videos. She has never made any effort to lose weight, either. The only reason she had any success early on was because Krystle's mom did all of the work and carefully monitored Amber's food intake and cooked all of her meals, every day, for years. And true to her awful self, not only did Amber show zero gratitude, she took all the credit and claims she did it all by herself.

Absolutely hilarious to me that she makes up a doctor telling her she's healthy and tries to pass it off. I'm 204 lbs and carry my weight very well for my height, and after a recent blood test my doctor told me I had one less point of good cholesterol than I should and might want to work in more exercise. I'm a pretty healthy person, and even my doctor doesn't say I'm perfectly healthy. Our gorl is completely delusional.
I'm thin 105 lbs and my doc still called me out for having a bad diet and high cholesterol. I mean its true I don't choose the best foods I don't live the healthiest lifestyle idk how I managed not to gain tons of weight but like the doc was just being honest.

I think it all depends, not giving Amber an excuse but I’m heavier than you and apparently way more healthy. I have an extremely healthy diet (I do have some problems but mine are hereditary), I have no diabetes or pre diabetes, I have good cholesterol, and I only have real problems with my asthma (it gets triggered more around smells than anything) and my physical disability I got after a surgery.

I'm midly overweight and I have absolutely the same thinking as amberlynn before. I always thought I'm smaller than what I actually is but same time I instinctively refuse to walk past full body mirrors or take pictures with anyone so I know inside I'm aware that I'm THAT big. The healthy but obese thing is all too real for me. I started at nearly 400 pounds, with no blood pressure or sugar problems, no kidney or liver issues, no diabetes or even pre diabetes. If you looked at my papers only you’d have no idea I was so overweight. That’s what it’s like when you’re young. You’re resilient, your body knows how to regulate itself even under intense strain. BUT ONLY FOR SO LONG! She is getting to the age where that will no longer be true, she will have a harder time dropping the weight, as well as all of her health issues she has been anticipating will hit her full force, almost all at once. I was able to get my life under control before the break down happened. I’m afraid she won’t.

I am 5′9″. Due to depression, anxiety, and PTSD from my childhood, I ballooned to 452 pounds and a size-60 waist. Over the course of three years, I slowly transitioned to raw veganism and a daily exercise routine. I am now 174 pounds and wear a size-33 pants. I have not undergone surgery. As a result, I have stretched skin all over my body, including my sacred area. I am very self-conscious about this. It prevents me from dating, which I would love to do. But I cannot afford the skin removal surgery. Thank Heaven, I now look very nice clothed. In the summer, I wear short sleeves and short pants - something I once thought impossible. But that is the deepest stage of undress in which I am comfortable. My friends tell me I should make UA-cam videos and go on Instagram and the like in order to inspire others, but I don't want to become a meme. There is so much cruelty in our world and the last thing a sensitive, lonely youngish gay man like me needs is to be mocked for my "before" photos. I am a teacher and writer. Life blesses me with endless ways to have joy. Unfortunately, however, no matter how much I wish to be in a loving relationship, my loose skin makes me feel ashamed.

She NEVER tried. She expects everyone else to do the work for her. That's the only reason why she saw any success early on was because Krystle's mom cooked all her meals and did all of the shopping, so Amberlynn had no control over the food in the house. Amber did absolutely nothing.

She has demonstrated over the years that she is totally incapable of losing weight and keeping it off. Sure, she almost breaks her arm patting herself on the back when she loses a couple ozs but she hasn’t shown she is capable of keeping it off long term. I'm mad watching her workout because they're not bad and the modifications are great for someone her size. Just to know she ate pizza bites as a post workout meal. If she kept it up I 2014 she'd be off UA-cam by 2016. Also her "arm ups" are called over head press. All women need to be doing this. It builds the upper back to offset the weakness from the breast.

who is John Galt I usually feel over head presses in my shoulders not my back. Do you have any tips for this exercise please? I’m on the opposite side of the spectrum (underweight and trying to gain weight).
@@Mandaxx25 If your problem is spinal, then the overhead press is NOT recommended. Puts too much pressure on the spine. There are LOTS of other arm exercises that will build up strength in your arms. I also need to use a wheelchair at times. Two spine surgeries. But I still make it to the gym when I can, but the trainer recommended not doing the overhead press and if I did, don't use any weight and only do one or two reps. And absolutely NO squats. There are many pushing/pulling exercises that will help keep you rolling! 😉

I am a 6'2" 195lb physically fit male. When i go to the gym i usually squat about 200lbs on the squat rack which is a hefty chunk of weight. I simply cannot imagine how she lugs around 400lbs MORE than that all day long. It must feel absolutely dreadful. I have no idea why she isn't in a deep panic about her situation at all times?! In fact, she doesn't even seem to care?!!!

I'm 4'11 and 100lbs and I cannot fathom weighing 200 (for my height), let alone 500+ and she's only 5'3. I gained 40lbs during covid and was so angry with myself that I lost it all in a little under 3 months. I discovered amber during that time and watched her while I was on the treadmill everyday. She inspired me to lose the weight.

The invention of things like doordash, grub hub, Uber eats it became to easy for her to get her d.o.c and unfortunately just about any addict wouldn't be able to handle themselves if it was that easy for them to buy what they were craving. Just my opinion though cause I think that's why she doesn't even wanna go out to eat as much any more and it's not just cause of covid. She gets to get her food without even having to deal with people. With her social anxiety she can eat without fear of judgement. So that's where I think she really gave up.
It seems Destiny was the first person to disregard the obesity, signaling Amber to eat for "fun". Then, she made it clear to anyone else that they had to accept her the way she was. Becky basically walked into a medical mess, between her hysterectomy, gall or kidney stones or both...she was bedridden for 2 years. Why she is so focused now on that Becky wasn't "physical' with her, is absurd. Even before the hysterectomy, she states she was hemmoraging, constantly.
I'm not a skinny person and I've struggled with weight lose for my whole life (I'm 18), I know that I will never be skinny, that's just how my body is but I truly try, and seeing how this woman got herself to 600 pounds it's just unbelievable. I understand that is hard, especially when you have a toxic relationship with food, I personally know that, but there's a point that you need to stop. Even if it takes you to ask for help do it. This is not a "how do I look" thing. This is your health, your life and there is no way on earth that being that size is healthy.

Honestly, the fact that she’s so “bottom heavy,” or I guess “pear shaped,” is probably the reason she’s still as mobile as she is. And why she hasn’t really experienced any cardiac or respiratory issues. It’s actually ‘healthier’ (not to be confused with healthy… it’s just less bad) to carry weight in your legs and butt rather than your stomach, since having excess adipose tissue surrounding your vital organs is (generally) a much more serious problem than having it on your arms and legs. If she carried her weight more evenly or was more of an “apple” shape, she would probably be in a much worse state medically

I think it all depends, not giving Amber an excuse but I’m heavier than you and apparently way more healthy. I have an extremely healthy diet (I do have some problems but mine are hereditary), I have no diabetes or pre diabetes, I have good cholesterol, and I only have real problems with my asthma (it gets triggered more around smells than anything) and my physical disability I got after a surgery.

I always thought I'm smaller than what I actually is but same time I instinctively refuse to walk past full body mirrors or take pictures with anyone so I know inside I'm aware that I'm THAT big. there is no way she doesn't tamper with the scale. she has to put it on soft carpet, slide cards under the feet or mess with the scaling (seeing how it's for car parts it has to have a function that allows it)
The healthy but obese thing is all too real for me. I started at nearly 400 pounds, with no blood pressure or sugar problems, no kidney or liver issues, no diabetes or even pre diabetes. If you looked at my papers only you’d have no idea I was so overweight. That’s what it’s like when you’re young. You’re resilient, your body knows how to regulate itself even under intense strain. BUT ONLY FOR SO LONG! She is getting to the age where that will no longer be true, she will have a harder time dropping the weight, as well as all of her health issues she has been anticipating will hit her full force, almost all at once. I was able to get my life under control before the break down happened. I’m afraid she won’t.

We really have no idea how she currently is, she could die and we wouldn’t know for weeks…it’s really sad how she poses as honest but hides so much because of her shame. I am 5′9″. Due to depression, anxiety, and PTSD from my childhood, I ballooned to 452 pounds and a size-60 waist. Over the course of three years, I slowly transitioned to raw veganism and a daily exercise routine. I am now 174 pounds and wear a size-33 pants.
I have not undergone surgery. As a result, I have stretched skin all over my body, including my sacred area. I am very self-conscious about this. It prevents me from dating, which I would love to do. But I cannot afford the skin removal surgery.

She NEVER tried. She expects everyone else to do the work for her. That's the only reason why she saw any success early on was because Krystle's mom cooked all her meals and did all of the shopping, so Amberlynn had no control over the food in the house. Amber did absolutely nothing.

who is John Galt I usually feel over head presses in my shoulders not my back. Do you have any tips for this exercise please? I’m on the opposite side of the spectrum (underweight and trying to gain weight).
@@Mandaxx25 If your problem is spinal, then the overhead press is NOT recommended. Puts too much pressure on the spine. There are LOTS of other arm exercises that will build up strength in your arms.
I also need to use a wheelchair at times. Two spine surgeries. But I still make it to the gym when I can, but the trainer recommended not doing the overhead press and if I did, don't use any weight and only do one or two reps. And absolutely NO squats.
There are many pushing/pulling exercises that will help keep you rolling! 😉

I am a 6'2" 195lb physically fit male. When i go to the gym i usually squat about 200lbs on the squat rack which is a hefty chunk of weight. I simply cannot imagine how she lugs around 400lbs MORE than that all day long. It must feel absolutely dreadful. I have no idea why she isn't in a deep panic about her situation at all times?! I'm 4'11 and 100lbs and I cannot fathom weighing 200 (for my height), let alone 500+ and she's only 5'3. I gained 40lbs during covid and was so angry with myself that I lost it all in a little under 3 months. I discovered amber during that time and watched her while I was on the treadmill everyday. She inspired me to lose the weight.

The invention of things like doordash, grub hub, Uber eats it became to easy for her to get her d.o.c and unfortunately just about any addict wouldn't be able to handle themselves if it was that easy for them to buy what they were craving. Just my opinion though cause I think that's why she doesn't even wanna go out to eat as much any more and it's not just cause of covid. She gets to get her food without even having to deal with people. With her social anxiety she can eat without fear of judgement. So that's where I think she really gave up.

Becky basically walked into a medical mess, between her hysterectomy, gall or kidney stones or both...she was bedridden for 2 years.
Why she is so focused now on that Becky wasn't "physical' with her, is absurd. Even before the hysterectomy, she states she was hemmoraging, constantly.

I'm not a skinny person and I've struggled with weight lose for my whole life (I'm 18), I know that I will never be skinny, that's just how my body is but I truly try, and seeing how this woman got herself to 600 pounds it's just unbelievable. I understand that is hard, especially when you have a toxic relationship with food, I personally know that, but there's a point that you need to stop. Even if it takes you to ask for help do it. This is not a "how do I look" thing. This is your health, your life and there is no way on earth that being that size is healthy.
