I mean there probably isn't one actually on the road yet anyway😂 apart from autumn 21 I've not seen a actual date for the change as training companies are still working through there booked in 2 test trainees.
@the tessellater I can assure you that this Tory Government, as you put it, has not rushed through any emergency drivers and that all processing and drivers testing, is as ever, painfully demanding, and mentally exacting. Come on down here and have a look for yourself if you don't believe me! You should try lorry driving sometime, we have to deal with unknowing critics like you and that pratt in a white Volvo who just cut the guy off and smashed into him at the port of Dover, trying to overtake on a bend.
flat bed volvo driver under cut & speeding . WERE WAS HE EXPECTING U GO ??? but forward
Not fit to ride a 50cc moped, never mind drive an articulated HGV.
And with the new fast pass hgv c1, expect more stupidity! I'm all for getting bums in seats, but it would be nice to know a 21 year old has some experience at reversing and hitching up!
The thing is, these idiots like the one in the vid are older drivers, the "i know everything brigade" i think the younger lads have got a better head on their shoulders than alot of these prats who should have their license taken off them.
@@cbrboy76 some older drivers I speak too are new to it, as they were something else and were made redundant and took their test! Personally I think it was a lack of experience! I'm 20 years in, and I know I'd need more room as the trailer will drag a little into the other lane! Plus, having any vehicle next to you is a risk! Also, whom ever painted the lines should have allowed for two vehicles going around the corner at the same time, as per a risk assessment!
@@terrystratford1235 he was undertaking like it was 2 cars going round a bend, see how close his cab is. The original poster has commented on here that when he was questioned by the port police he said the truck he hit was going to slow, thats sort of hints at his attitude. No respect for others or the type of vehicle he is driving. How does he behave on the road?
@@cbrboy76 ahh!! I didn't know about the original comment! Lack of respect! Yep, absolutely true! And I'll bet he's the 1st to bitch if a car cuts him up!!
must have been Volvo driver's first day on the job. you can't be that stupid or bad a driver and think you can make it around a 90 degree corner two wide with a bloody trailer pulling along. driving it like a car.
Why didn't you see that was going to happen? It was his fault, but you drove into the corner knowing it was going to happen.
Finally someone mentioned that... this could have been avoided so easily, but some drivers just dont know how to react in situations like this .
Our guy braked and stopped frm 17 Mph not 23 and after he braked (and stopped) Mr "Im in a big Volvo" smashed into him.
Simple as.
@@a320nick I said the other guy was at fault, but Carl could have avoided it. Neither wanted to yield to the other, and then crash. Now they were both involved in a crash that cost money, time, workshop time, grief and hassle. Just give the space up.
Yes he shouldn't of undertaken and yes he's a silly boy
Should of kept the V3,,,,Mayb he would'nt have had go fast stripes on it,,,,,Thats just BULLY Shit driveING,,,!!!!!!!🙄
WAS HE TRYING TO BEAT BREXIT!!???
What kind of Micky mouse road is this?
So what was the outcome?
They're now in a relationship living in Paris
I'm amazed at all the comments, the car driver should understand that a lorry needs to allow for the trailer to cut in so should have held back.
HGV's are not ideal for stopping every minute of the day to allow cars to pass, cars should be respectful and allow HGV drivers way.
Maybe you missed it. But they are both HGV drivers look at the camera height and take note of the location those lanes are for heavy goods.
@@oddineers Then the artic lorry is at fault.
The lorry in the lane to the left of the cammer needs to give way at the end of their lane as they are merging hence the arrows and 'slow' in their lane. You missed it as well as the driver 🤦🏻♂
