- Stefan Pape interviews Rome and Game of Thrones actor Tobias Menzies for his new show The Terror, in which je stars as Commander James Fitzjames, alongside Jared Harris, Paul Ready, Adam Nagaitis, Ian Hart, Nive Nielsen, Greta Scacchi and Ciaran Hinds.
He talks about being drawn to the real life story nature of the adventure, and reuniting with his Rome co-star Ciaran Hinds.
The crew of a Royal Naval expedition searching for the Arctic's treacherous Northwest Passage discovers instead a monstrous predator. The crews aboard the Royal Navy's polar explorer ships HMS Erebus and HMS Terror venture into uncharted territory seeking the Northwest Passage. The ships are soon stuck, frozen and isolated, and those aboard must survive the harsh weather conditions and each other, while being stalked by an elusive menace.

this guy is a great actor I loved his character was a ahole at the beginning then became a great guy wish this guy did more movies or shows that I could get into to me one of the best parts of the series and the best character
I saw quite a few of his roles in various movies and TV shows. He's remarkably talented and has the uncanny knack of "becoming" the character. To me that's the true test of anyone's acting skill. In my view he's earned far more awards than he's gotten.

Brutus, Fitz James, and the Tully all came across as heroes who never were...he must feel a touch typecast for those similar characters he’s played..though he does play them well.

At first I thought this show sucked but since I've seen different snips of it I'd like to see the whole series. Did it show in the U.S. and I missed it? I get AMC but it isn't listed for view.
Absolutely take the effort to watch it all. I got the DVD series as a gift after watching the series because there is so much to catch you need to see it several times!
