Hey buddy i don't know if you have physical limitations but the best medicine for Depression is physical activity. I'm not talking weight lifting or marathon running I'm talking just taking a good walk. Start light and work your way up to where you are walking 1,2,3,4 miles a day. You wouldn't believe how one's self esteem and sense of worth increases
Congrats on making it to the work finish line. All the best as you begin to live for yourself. I left LA after many years, but there so many great things to see and do, as you can see from the GIV. Hope you get out there and do some driving, that's when you really feel the "California" feeling. Even in LA just driving parts of Wilshire Dr. has a strange relaxing feeling.

No, it’s not. The difference began with the 24-Hour News Reporting. And CNN led when Ted Turner owned it (the last time CNN was good was under his ownership). From that point on, the world became aware of ALL news at ALL times worldwide. Prior to that it was ‘what we didn’t know wouldn’t hurt us’. And it didn’t and we were much better off!!!!

im not trying to make this political or racial but im just a realist and im born and raised in southern california and i can tell u that the reason all those latino american families can afford to pay those county fair prices is because they work the system and many if not most of them are receiving government money and benefits and section 8 housing and they work side jobs for cash as they also get all the free government hand outs so thats why those people were the people u saw affording that fair , the rest of us have to pay higher rent and work for all the money we get so we cannot afford to drop one hundred dollars in one day just to eat some overpriced food and go on some cheap rides .

Hi Mike, i smiled without the microphone, because you just make me smile the way you are. I agree that it's crazy out there, and people are doing crazy stuff for money. I don't know how people who have kid's can afford to go to the fair, or do a lot of thing's. I see more homeless people since 2020 where i live, and then i see people getting into big debt to buy stuff. I am a person who tries to get a good deal, even if i have to wait a long time. We didn't have a lot of money when i was a kid, and my granny went through the great depression, and she would always be cautious about spending money, and i just always paid attention. I am thankful that my home is paid for, it's nothing great, but if i had to pay rent, along with all the other bill's, it would be rough. When you are only taking care of yourself, you can spend a little money to go to the fair, and that person giving you a hard time shouldn't be judging what you do. You went there to make a video for us to watch, so obviously as long as you were there, you might get thirsty or hungry lol. I can't believe people can't tell when you are being funny or sarcastic, like you really thought 7 dollar's was a good deal for a glass of diet coke. I hope I can meet him some day too. Mike maybe u could set up a table there in Venice on a certain day of the week. Even every other week. Set hours. Word would get out that the GIV is there on whatever day. U could sell ur goods with no overhead Mike. U pick the day and time. That way people will know how to find the GIV. I would love to go there knowing u will be there on that day. U could get ur stuff there with a wagon or something. U could even do 2 days a week, like Wednesday and Saturday. U would be there a week day and a day during the weekend. Or idk, every Saturday and every other Wednesday? U know better which day would draw more customers. Think about it.

Food prices at events these days are insane. The medium size popcorn at the movies in NJ is $10. $5 for a box of candy.
Bring your own to the movies. Everything at theatres is traditionally stale and awful. Your own goodies are always better.

You should consider starting your own tour business, taking your fans from all over the world around Venice. So many people would pay to have the GIV himself show them around Hollywood. There's another UA-camr I follow who's doing it and she's doing very well and only has a fraction of your subscribers. They book weeks in advance.

I live in Spain now in Murcia in a Spanish community. Nice chat vlog. My best friend in uk was a German guy named Hermann from originally from Munich he works for Bentley in crewe as a technical problem solver enginner. He had mechanical enginneering background from the German Air force. He took me to Oktoberfest in Munich many times. Boy, can he drink those steins. Giv, i love how you pronounce some of your words. Wow! That's a great German word :) I did my German language exam in 1996 at my high school in The Netherlands. Also love random words like: Schmetterling, Geistesvertrümmelung, Gespenster, Büchersammlung, etc.
Los Angeles is an unlivable hellscape. LA is where I was born, I live in Colorado now and I can get fruit and vegies for pennies and everything is cheap but one thing universal is rent hikes are unlivable everywhere. I have no idea what I would do if the food was expensive too.
my family moved us all back to midwest in 2005 from Southern California Palmdale area. there were times I really missed SoCal and wanted to move back, but now I'm kinda glad I'm in midwest, can rent a small old house for what a studio apt costs out there!

Food is still decently priced, and I was able to find a 2 br 2 ba mobile home for 775.00/ Month..gas is only.2.95 here in SE Louisiana.. im staying put.. my town is also wonderful
Yeah but Colorado is boring as hell, which is fine if you have a family to take care of but LA, while it definitely has a ton of problems, also has a lot of opportunities, especially if you're in the creative industry. To each their own though.
