I am riding my bicycle through the alleys in downtown. Los Angeles is absolutely insane all the things you find, and all the graffiti’s covering the buildings you always find something new. - Розваги

@@Afineaddition I haven't been to L.A. city for a long time. I was in the valley in 2021 but for only a few hours to visit relatives.
Looked fine when I was there last month. Lots of people with lots of money, but every city and town has its shitty side though no matter where you are at.
Not all of LA looks like this lol this part of town has been this way for decades, it's a containment zone.

I live here as well, I’m moving to Dubai. LA is wrecked and I’m not waiting around for things to get better.
Open borders is a big reason why,illegal drugs coming across the border & we can't support the ten million illegals that have poured in. And some are seeking a better life but many like the Honduras come here to peddle drugs. Should have nipped it in the bud,too late now.

Thank you Mike for always, no matter how bad it gets, putting a positive image of L. A. out to your viewers. If you were here during the '60s and 70's, you remember there were opportunities everywhere. So very sad to see what it has become today. "Let's be careful out there".
I grew up in L.A. in 50s/60s/70s. It was a pretty great place to live. But it's changed so much and gone downhill, I don't want to go back there even for a visit.

I got a job at $1.50 per hour on Washington Ave near Lincoln Blvd, an apartment at Speedway & Wavecreast on the alley off the Venice Boardwalk, and paid $67.50 a month. I paid out-of-state tuition at Santa Monica City College. It was affordable. I was successful because of the values instilled in me by my parents. I was confident, had an excellent primary education, had a lot of passion, and was positive, as I still am! Mike is a very talented man of tremendous insight, as we know him on this channel.
I furnished my first apartment back in the early 1980s scavenging alleys in Beverly Hills. I found a working TV, a Danish modern leather sofa and arm chairs, coffee tables, a bookcase, out door wrought iron patio table and chairs, a 1960s dinette set, tons of books, magazines and pots and pans.
I did the same in 93
It is against the law in B.H. to go thru the trash. The BHPD will come for you if you get caught. B.H. Is an incorporated city with its own police, fire, etc. This sort of thing would NEVER happen there! There are other incorporated cities throughout and the same goes for them. L. A. Is the largest city and it is being run by the bluest of the blue (Karen Bass).This is what you get from BLUE politicians. Read it, weep and maybe make a difference next time you vote. In L. A. County AND the entire state!!!!

Graffiti makes everything look like hot garbage and creates areas that you want to stay away from. It’s awful all around LA.
It's not the graffiti that makes it we actually get up in run down places and adding a more interesting element of waisted and decaying environments
Makes a so-so place look like a total shit hole.
I don't mind some of it,its actually art. That being said there's a time & a place for it even when its nice.
Its a shame that a lot of the really artistic and lifelike graffiti gets ruined by people who just tag their name over them.. Its about on the level of dogs wanting to pee to mark their territory and about the same intellectual level too.
How would it look otherwise? Gray and lifeless?
The funny thing about LA is if you watch a video showing the clean, nice parts it looks amazing. When you watch a video like this it looks like a dump.

Hello again,...I took a vacation from You Tube, so I missed a lot of your posts. Then because I am really old, I'm 70,......I got ill and had to stay in a hospital for almost 2 weeks. I just got out 3 days ago. I guess I'm going to live. They didn't find Cancer,....I just had a blocked intestine. I forget to stay hydrated. I sip water,....not enough to keep everything flowing. Good to see you again,...I love your reporting and videos.

@thatonekid71 Almost 4th world man, what a colorful alley, damn when I arrived in L.A. by hitchhiking across America in '64, it was seedy...I read the novel by John Richy's "City of Night."...Pershing Square was a weird place; skid row was there just expanded by a lot. Perhaps your generation has not been on top of maintaining the American Dream, which I lived. Our generation raised you guys. I assume we Failed to instill good values in our kids. I'll say we failed! I take responsibility! It is easy to blame somebody else for mistakes. "If we are gonna bitch, we gotta pitch"!

Hi Mike, great video, never know what you'll find in the alley. Some of that graffiti was so good. Using cans of paint has got to be challenging, especially if you think the cop's might show up. The graffiti is everywhere, some phenomenal, and some just looks bad. All that razor wire to protect your property inside is crazy, and aall those power wire's look like a fire waiting to happen. That guy digging through the clothes cracked me up, he was digging deep, but when he said he found the whole outfit he was wearing with that big grin, that was to funny. There are so many places that look good out in LA, and so many places that look rough, but the GIV show's it all. Much love to you brother, was glad to see a new video, they are always good.
