  • Get creative and discover the possibilities with FW Pearlescent Inks!
Barbara Donahay, owner of Joggles.com, presents an easy and fun way to use FW Pearlescent Inks. The Pearlescent Artist Acrylic Inks are a unique range of 22 water-based acrylic colours producing a shimmering pearl effect. This breakthrough in colour technology offers almost limitless creative potential in areas not normally associated with inks and includes applications to wood and leather (and to a limited degree, glass and ceramics) as well as to paper, board and canvas. These acrylic-based inks are water-soluble when wet, but dry to a water-resistant film on most surfaces. All colours are very to extremely lightfast, intermixable, permanent and translucent. The FW Inks are perfect for any artist creating craft and fine art work. You can purchase the Pearlescent Inks, and the other colours in the FW line including primary, shimmering, and fluorescent colours at Joggles.com.

The upside of 2020 isolation has been a reusing of supplies that I have long neglected- I ordered my inks from you a few years ago because of your wonderful videos and thought I would get inspired again by you-and I am!
Barb- I hope you see this comment because I want you to know how much I get out of your videos and what a very gifted teacher you are. In gratitude- as a person who is over 65 with moderate asthma which isn’t under control- I am so very grateful for you. You have made my life more tolerable during these tough times!

That is so lovely to hear. I have asthma too, and art supplies since that 2020 until now have been a godsend. I am like you, I love her manner and style of teaching and sharing. Sincerely, Paula

I have many wonderful art supplies, but I think the FW pearlescent inks are my absolute favorite! I'm not normally a fan of yellow, but I love putting a bit of the Hot Cool Yellow on my finger, and adding just a bit of light and shimmer here and there. I don't have that Genesis Green, but since that particular shade is my favorite color, I do believe I'm going to have to get that. Thanks for sharing these techniques!

I loved all that you shared! Thank you. These inks are SO gorgeous, and I may start collecting them for my art. I got the waterfall green the other day. It is SO nice. It got me thinking to go out and get the rest. Also, TY for the tip about shaking the bottle enough to see the air bubbles on the bottom, to know that it is mixed enough. Paula

I need help please...I purchased some of these inks and a few are very thick in the bottle. Are they still usable? I mainly got them to use with resin.

Thanks, but this being the channel of the manufacturer with a nearly 15 minute clip just on the pearlescent inks, I thought I'd at least be able to see each ink separately to decide which to purchase. Nope. Talking and talking and talking some more - but I still don't know how the inks themselves look on their own...
