I think work life balance applies more to the standard 9-5 "working for the man" situation. Becoming financially independent when owning your own business is what gives you work life balance. You really don't have to answer to anyone. You are free to schedule your own time which is the key.

That is a great point! I didnt really think about that. It is completely a completely different situation and if I was back working at my restaurant job there is not way I would want to work more than I had to.

You're right about work/life balance being subjective. Choosing to develop your business instead of partying shows that you're mature and bound for success. You seem to have a thriving business and cutting lawns is honest work and a good way of getting a lot of return business. Remember to save and invest a good part of your profits so that you can later retire comfortably from your work at a time of your choice.

I appreciate your optimism! I definitely still have a lot to learn but I am loving the process so far!

if you loving working, I say work, and find ambitious people to talk about business with (easier said than done).
I want to know your plan. For your lawncare business, how do you plan to grow it? (YT title idea: How I plan to make $1 million mowing lawns)

I agree! I have been trying to find people for the last 3 years but you are right, it is definitely easier said than done.
Thanks for the recommendation! I will plan to make a video like that in next week!
