That doc race manifold will be a lot better now that you have single bank o2. No more eating o2 sensors like candy. You should install the Nexsys oil pressure sensor kit eventually.
On a side note - that HKS exhaust is beautiful

Done so many expensive mods and left the most important ones which are piston/rod, ring gap. Reason for old one loss of compression is the Ringland I'm 100% sure. They go as low as 22 Especially at 31psi.

Hopefully you have better experience than me. I used motion raceworks pushlock lines tried different ways to route em etc etc and they blew off like 5 times. Also my paradigm oil cap just decided to leak the other day granted it was a freezing cold day so maybe seal just wasn’t up for the task

I used to love a system with thumpin woofers in my ride along with some Flowmasters on my v8 Silverado but now a days I find myself giving kids at red-light's the side eye when they pull up with their music blarring 💁♂️🤣

I have a slight vacuum leak coming from my valve cover but when I asked my local shop that specializes in BMW’s they told me to stay away from the billit valve covers and just use the OEM plastic one because the billit ones are “prone to fail”.
This is for an f10 535i btw, but do you agree should I just use another OEM plastic one or buy a billit one of of FCP euro

Hi. Im fairly new to this bmw community. and its my first purchase 320i petrol 170hp and automatic. 2 door hard top convertible,2008. I dont know if it is e90 , 91 or 92. my car works fine but engine check light keeps coming back. can you please tell me a car scanner which is mid range and lets me clear codes.. im living in ireland. please recommend me something that is not too basic and neither too advanced and can be shipped to ireland.

Regarding Rods bearings on N54… don’t they need various thicknesses from factory ? And how does this affect tolerances if the car needs various sizes of bearings but the aftermarket kit has all same size bearings?
After market bearings come in various sizes. We chose the standard ones from experience.
non msport cars come with the oil cooler. It was added onto cars in late 2008.
Yup my 08 335i Sport has one non M-Sport

Yo I was thinking of getting into the 335i platform , I’d prefer to get into the n55 due to the reliability that the n54 dosent have what year should I get and what are the things I should do first to make sure it stays alive and running for a long time ?
Get a n54 and be a man
n54 for power (n55 is not more reliable when pushing n54 fbo power imo) or B58 if you want both. Avoid 07 n54s.

Non M sport models do come with the oil cooler.
Yeah I think it was just some 07 and 06 build years that didn't have it. My car is a 2008 model year, non m-sport and it does have the factory oil cooler.

@@twinscrolled - Don't show that listed on my car.... it was more likely to be a hot climate car than cold climate (originally delivered in PA). It does have the sport package though.

Should have shown a side by side comparison of the CSF vs Stock Oil cooler to see the size difference for your viewers not just saying "it's bigger". Obviously we know it is. Yes very little detail but that's the whole point of the video. Not just watching you slap together a bunch of aftermarket parts

Also….can you get a mini on the channel? Owned by bmw half the parts of not more are bmw. Barely can’t content on UA-cam and a great fun drivers car even though I know people will laugh at this i don’t care. A built mini is nasty! I walk much more “powerful” cars simply because power to weight ratio. Just with bolt ons. Not saying minis are fast but they are definitely slept on. If possible get an r56 Cooper s or jcw if not the newer f series with the b48engine.
