The 102 Pro is on my list. As for multiples, I have two Buck 110s (50th Anniversary and a custom with etched blade, wood scales and nickel silver bolsters) and will soon have 3 Case Medium Trappers.
    Good one, Tom!

Beautiful knives Tom, nice to see three different versions of the same pattern. I recently picked up a 119 and a 120 as they were on sale. The 119 was a no brainer but I think I should have gotten the 102 instead of the 120! Great video, thanks 👍🤙

Knives with a blade length and size of knife like these are popular because of their versatility. All knife brands make one in some form closely the same or with slight changes. Not too long and not to short just the right size having more than one is just part of collecting knives. 😅🤣😂

Lol I've seen some of the buck knives like that style {119/120} and it had like an elk horn grip or something like that lol, you may have to look for that one! I definitely buy multiple item of the same thing. I love old revolvers and all the ones I like I want the exact same gun, same barrel length in blued and in nickel AND if they have one, a stainless also. I have a nickel S&W Mod. 36 with fake pearl and a blued one with walnut grips. Haven't found a square butt stainless one yet as those are both square butt. With these Buck knives, I love the micarta handle and I want 102/117/119/120/124 all with that handle. So instead of multiple of the same knife with different handles, I want several with the same but different sizes lol. Nice knives, thanks for sharing! Oh yeah, I just got my first blued 3" tapered barrel Mod 36 as well, the other two are snubs. Now I just need a 3" tapered barrel nickel in square butt of course!

@@knifedelights7473 I just looked on the Buck website and they have a customizable 112 and you can make one with the stag grip. You can add finger grooves if you like and the rivets if you like. Brass or nickel bolster, a choice of different blades as well. It's about 170-205 depending on your choice of options. I'm probably going to order one before too long. It won't be vintage, but I bet older ones are going for more.

I'm very guilty of buying multiples of the same pattern. Buck 110 tops that list with 420, 5160, S30v, ebony, micarta, g10, Elk, clip & drop points.... plus 110 variants made by Western, Schrade/Uncle Henry, Case... and even more broadly, Folding Hunters in general - lock backs, slip-joints, single blade, two-blade, big, medium and small.... which sort of spills over into vast universe of Trappers...
My problem, I like to collect knives... It's a good problem.

I have every model of the 105 I could get my hands on . The buck 102 is just to small for my hands . It works fine for little jobs , but if on a bigger job like butchering an animal my hand gets cramped up from holding the 102. The 105 fits my hand better and can cut all day with it .
My favorite steel is s30v . I can butcher 3 animals without having to sharpen . S35vn does not make it and needs resharpened before the job is done .

I love the 117 (small special) or ss. It feels like the missing buck. The 102 always felt too small for me, great for kids and women but I have large hands like men should 😄. I also like the 105 but feel the blade is just a bit too long for such a narrow blade. The 119 is a bit fragile for a knife it's size, meaning normally when I have a knife that 119 sized and up, it inspires harder use. I naturally use it for things like botoning and chopping, things a true full tang are better suited to. The 117 is imo the best size for a general camp knife. Not too small that it's not ver useful and not so big that it inspires heavy-duty use/light abuse.

As far as I know, the 106 is a hatchet. But they may have had a knife model years ago. I will try to research to find out for sure. Thanks for watching, my friend.
