This is what I absolutely love about this hobby. You can go have a weekend green lanes, a long trip abroad or a chilled out quiet camp with your nearest and dearest love it. Enjoyed the relaxing chilled vibe of this dude
Saw you parked up in the car park on the Friday morning, the guy with the trailer you were with overtook us on the motorway just before Bad Kissingen and was 2 in front of us in the queue getting turned away from camp 1. We got directed to what I can only describe as the local dogging area so we found ourself a proper campsite, which was full of others turned away. Went in to the show on the Friday then went home on the Saturday, bit pissed off with the total lack of communication from the show. Took them I reckon 4 hours from shutting the campsites to actually telling anyone then took the notice down into Friday despite them still being closed.🤷♂️ been twice now and both times the organisation has been lacking.
Hi..its no surprise that Jim passed you on the motorway with his trailer as none of us could keep up with him...we spent three nights in the carpark and at least we did not have to pay for it....it was actually ok definately not as muddy as the campsites and there was no one there at night it was really good...the organisation and communication from the organisers was really poor...i don't think i would bother going again though..but we did enjoy the show there was alot of different types of vehicles there...
Hi..given the quality of most camping equipment you buy today which falls apart after the first year i think the jet boil was one of the best things we have ever bought..
Good episode 👍. I think it's a built-in requirement to always forget something. One time I was about 15 miles from home and realized I'd forgotten the Keurig coffee maker. Found an exit off of the interstate, turned around, returned to the house, and got the Keurig. Gotta have the coffee. Interesting ground mat you had placed under the awning. Does it hold water on top when it rains? The popular thing I see around just about every campground here Stateside, are the plastic straw outdoor rugs. Lightweight, washable, and water (or even a possible beer spill) runs right through it. 😎
Hi...glad you enjoyed the episode...quite alot of things were forgotten and left behind when we were making this video and what could go wrong went wrong when we were editing it...but there would be no way we would leave coffee..we definately would have had to go home for that..the ground sheet is made by OzTent and water does run straight through it ..we found that it works really well on sand as well and it weighs nothing and folds up really compact..
Hey there! I've walked past your rigs at the Abenteuer Allrad parking lot. You did great work with that Defender! Didn't they let you on the camp ground anymore due to rain and mud? Actually you two passed me on the tigerexped booth in person but you seemed to be in a hurry and i am not that fanboy bothering every youtuber/influencer i can find. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Germany. Greetings from Cologne.
Hi there...no they would not let us on the campsites due to when we got there they told us that it was full and then they would not let anymore on cos of the rain...and i do think the defender came out really well but as with all land rovers it is a work in progress..you should have stopped us if you saw us going past we would not have minded...we probably were not in a hurry we were probably looking for the rest of the group as we kept getting separated...also Greetings from Cheshire...If you want to email me your address i will send you some stickers...our email address is in the links on the UA-cam channel..
@@All4Overland Well, maybe 99% of all car related projects will stay in that work in progress state regardless the manufacturer - and that is hopefully the joy of this hobby. 😅 I hope you had the time to check all the camp grounds, the variety of vehicles and ideas is phenomenal. We only had this one friday for the fair AND the camp. Unfortunately our time ran out and we just visited campground 1. What a nice gesture with your stickers, thank you for that offer. 😊
I’m laughing at the rubber mallet, what do you think the back of your axe is for? Edit: however, I have just watched your axe skills…. Keep the mallet 😂

I have had a quick look at your channel i used to have a 16" synchro high top very similar to your van...some days i wish i had kept it..
