- In this episode we travel to the Abenteuer and Allrad show in Germany which is the biggest overland show in Europe...we have a few set backs on the way as one of the trucks breaks down and is undriveable and we cannot get camping on the show campsite so we wild camp in a carpark for three days before moving on with the rest of the adventure..

Great show, we met and spoke with you both there, it is certainly massive with plenty of very expensive and some truly enormous $$$$$$ overland rigs.
Probably more realistic for us were a few old defender conversions, 70 series LC and loads of Grenadiers in various configurations.
My son & I took the Eurotunnel following an overnight in Ashford. 8 hours drive later and some high speed on the Autobahn being overtaken streams by Mercs, BMW & Audis doing over 200kmh we too discovered the Camping area was soggy. We ended up camping in the swimming pool car park. Eventually got back home after a 2200-mile round trip but worth the trip to see this huge show.
Hi mate..there is definately some expensive trucks there i think pretty much most of them were out of my budget..and the defender everything past us like we were standing still regardless what road we were on...the show is definately something else and was worth the trip there..

Hi mate... if you had a spare million or two you could spend alot of money there...but there is alot of stuff there to give you good ideas..
Looks like you were there Saturday (we saw you walk passed,) and it was so busy, like on Thursday as it was a holiday there. I'd recommend to go on Friday if you go again. It was our first, and I'll be back - some serious ££££ there though
Hi... we were there on the Friday and it was really busy and thats where all the footage on this video came from and we also filmed on the Saturday which we thought was a bit quieter and we went in on Sunday morning and it was really really quiet..you really do need some big money at that show there was nothing cheap but some of it was really interesting..
Thursday morning was so busy, I guess as we had a lazy Friday and git there very late morning it was a bit quieter. We were lucky to get parked in the camping field 2 even Wednesday afternoon, but 3 and 4 looked relatively quiet most of the weekend.
Hi...when we arrivead on Thursday night we were told it was full and no spaces and they were not letting anyone on the camping fields cos of the rain so we ended up staying in the day visitors carpark but at least it was free and we were not too far away from the bus as they queued at the end of the carpark.
That's a bonus not having to pay the camping - I think our was over €180 for the 4 days. Sorry to see one of your group on the back of the ADAC - We've had to leave our camping trailer over in southern Germany after the hub failed

Hi...because we had already prebooked the boat from Dover cos of work commitments we had to leave later..it was just one of those things.
