I heard this Musical as I was a little child (5-6 years young) in a city park Taksim in Istanbul. I asked my mother , "What is the name of this song ?" She said, "FARANDOLE" I am right now 75 years old and I couldn't forged this melody.... Exellent ! Greetings. I.R.SUBUTAY.

Especially since they have common points, composers of genius, the same first name, they died young, Gershwin at 38 and Bizet at 36. Bizet and still a notch above.
Amazing piece, I performed it with an orchestra of 30 at 120 BPM common time. We were a junior high orchestra and I can't imagine how difficult a larger performance with 160 bpm like this would've been
We played this when I was part of our Air Cadet Band. I think I was second trumpet; around 20 of us. One of the scariest yet most awesome experience of my life.
Playing this tune this Sunday with the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra. Stoked. Band practice Wednesday and the show is Sunday. (They hate when I say band practice and show and tune haha)
Here I come, I'm off to save my friends I'm flying Rocket, can you hear my rescue song? Yes we can, we hear your rescue song You're flying Rocket and you'll save us all.
some recording sound different than others, this one is higher and some are lower, is it the cameras or is their just more violins in it? or is it something else?
I question the use of mallets of the snare drummer. I totally understand its for a different timbre that fits the piece, but an explanation as to why it's done and why timpani mallets would be in order. Would this be something other orchestras do, I can't argue with results but it seems a tad unnative to the time period. Again, I'm open to an explanation. Great job NYO!!

Brilliant. George’s Bizet is very underrated IMO. He wrote a great symphony at seventeen years old, then filed it away in a drawer!
Under-rated is a very over-rated and useless word IMO.
True ✅️
That piece is on my 'must-listen-to-often' list.

I heard Bizet's Farandole many times . Maestro Charles Dutoit one of the best conductors . This performance is amazing .Thanks a lot .
what happened to your keyboard 😶
finally i found a version with a great tempo! allot of these interpretations are too slow in my opinion. but this version is really nice!
the blue lock project... is... real💀
Farandole by Geroges Bizet is one of my favorite musical pieces, one of my others being Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin
