Definitely looking forward to a video showing the in depth alignment. Ive got a new to me lt 40 and cant seem to keep it cutting straight. Ive been through the manual and alignment process several times, but still my issues prevail. I am not new to running a bandmill either so this has got me stumped. Im missing something.
@@halfshark101 brilliant, I have the same year and model, it’s the e15 11kw motor. Don’t see many electric options out there but the main knowledge I’m hungry for is mainly the mechanical and alignment issues. Latest video is extremely helpful. I reckon I’m missing 50% of the clamping elements. The arm and receptor that would raise and lower the clamp face is long gone with previous owners damage. The plate also lays back at approx 80 degrees when in the tall position. Again a little piece of steel is missing. I have a mig just need some more knowledge. My saw is cutting reasonably well but will definitely give it a tare down and lots of tlc this winter once I finish cutting a stash of logs for a cabin.
I have a new lt40 i just bought and having issues with the drive belt catchin when blade is not enaged. It doesnt do it immediately but then starts to smoke and makes a load pitch noise. I called woodmizer and tried a few things they said to do, but it continues...any ideas?
