I'm crying/laughing reading all these comments. Thanks for making me feel so warm and fuzzy! And don't worry, my videos will stay up here for as long as UA-cam exists ❤️ please come back to them as much as you would like!
I'm so sad to see you go, yet so happy you are taking time for yourself. I remember fangirling over you replying to one of my comments from a year ago, on a years old video, about boob and bra sizes, I doubt you remember but to me that was a huge moment, and made me get back into a project I had fallen out of love with. Thanks for doing that whilst you were struggling so much
Hey Annika, you were the person who got me into sewing as a young teenager, educated me on fast and slow fashion and the industry's role in the climate & ecological crisis, and basically you've been a hugely important part of shaping me into the person I am today. Whatever the future holds for you, I hope it's every bit as bright and powerful as you are. Thank you for all the good times, you rock, and keep being true to you ✨
You're the person who taught me how to make a circle skirt years ago when I started sewing. Thank you for the energy and optimism you have put into your UA-cam career, you are truly inspirational
you were one of the first people casually talk about their disability and younger me got to see someone else take a bunch of pills as part of their daily routine and that was really important for me. and ive always loved watching your beautiful adventures. its also really cool that you came out and are activly prioritizing yourself and doing things that make you happy.
They made me realise I could be disabled and achieve my dreams, so in a way it makes it threefold sad to see them go, twice for them, their health and their struggles, once on my own selfish front. However I am strong enough now to go on my own, and they was brave enough to motivate me when I really needed it! Just glad they are looking after themselves to be honest! And joined the bi gang!
I feel the same way, i actually came here because, i just had to take my one million pills, and i was like “wait i havent seen their videos for a long time, and got scared they where dead.
You will NEVER have to apologize to us for putting yourself and your health, both pysical and mental, first. You've given us so much - not just videos to watch, but a place to learn, a whole community to be a part of. We're all part of the Sewing Friends now and forever. Whatever you decide to do next you're going to be great! And if you decide to share we'll be here. Much love to you and yours, and everyone stay safe out there! 💖💖💖💖
This is the true magic of youtube. Not sad at all to see you go, I'm ecstatic to see you grow, heal and run towards a better life! You are a person, a wonderful person who shared your journey, and the end of the journey for youtube isn't at all bad. I'm so happy to get this update, and rewatch your tutorials for a pick-me-up. Go forth, be the happiest, healthiest Annika there ever was, we all love you and will remember our time together fondly ❤
Annika!! you were one of my favourite channels as a 14/15 year old and really helped me get into sewing. Now at 21 I've opened my own fashion business thats going really well!! You definitely helped me get to where i am so just wanted to say thank u
I was just telling my husband about your “babe with a mobility aid” sticker on your scooter to make him feel better about using a cane. Thank you for sharing all your sewing projects and personal journey with us. We’re so happy to know you and learn from you ❤️ best of luck on your future endeavors!
Annika you taught me how to sew growing up and have been a huge part of my life! I am now going to school and getting a degree in fashion thanks to you! Thank you so much for everything you’ve made here!
Add me to the chorus of "sad to see you go, but so happy you're finding your path". I don't sew, but I love seeing just about any craft when it's done well (whether that means a master at work or a beginner brave enough to show us how they learn), especially when it's presented so well as your videos. If you ever get bored I'll be waiting for you to pop up in my subscriptions, just in case.
I haven't watched in years and on a whim checked to see if you were still creating videos. I'm glad you've taken care of yourself and learned more about yourself! As a young teenager you inspired me to take my fashion into my own hands. I learned to sew from your videos and absolutely adored make thrift buy! Years later I'm still thrifting and making my own clothes to the point of planning on opening a stall at a store next summer! I guess I just wanna say thank you and I hope you are still doing well 💖
It’s sad to see you go, but we all respect your choices and prioritisations. You’ll be welcomed with wide open arms if you ever choose to come back ♥️♥️
Just the other day I was thinking, "What happened to Annika?" I'll miss you but I'm glad you're finding yourself and pursuing things that make you happy. Good luck 💛
Today due to my hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome, I used a wheelchair in public for the first time and thought to myself ‘remember Annika, be a babe with a mobility aid’. Then this evening I came across this video - thank you for your videos across the years and helping me gain the confidence that got me through today; I hope you are enjoying life on any path you so choose!! ❤️
It’s sad to see you go Annika, but it’s totally understandable for you to leave and look after yourself and explore more different opportunities, to see what you want to do in life!!! I have learned so many different sewing techniques from you and adored your style and videos, so thank you so so much for sharing everything with us. 💖 I can’t wait to see what you’ll do in the future and am so happy you are still here with us!!! 🥺🥰💖💖
I've always admired and appreciated your transparency regarding chronic illness. It's not discussed openly enough, and it absolutely should be. Thank you for all the fun and quirky projects you've shown us over the years. ❤❤
I’m so sad to see you go but so happy for you! 💜 As a young, chronically ill, disabled, nonbinary, sewer and crafter I relate to you and look up to you so much and you’ve made me feel so much less alone over the years. Actually my first sewing project was because of you, I made a little bag with scraps and dyed it myself. I’m so happy for you, figuring out your health, identity, everything. You’ve made a huge difference to me, you’ve made me laugh and smile and taught me so much about how to sew and create projects myself. You’re always welcome to come back to UA-cam, if it’s ever the right thing for you again, we’ll be here with open arms. Thank you for everything, we will miss you! And good luck for all the amazing things the future holds! We love you💜
4 years and 1 day to this date, I received a sewing machine for Christmas. As a middle schooler I watched your videos and on the circle skirt tutorial, I thought, hey I could do this too with the proper equipment! Since then I’ve taught myself with your videos how to sew. Today, I made a men’s dress shirt as a gift and I intend to make some more in the next few days. I’ve learned to draft formal clothing, and I thrift and sew most of my clothes. THANK YOU for being that spark that moved me towards sustainable fashion and also expressing myself creatively. I never thought I was a good visual artist until sewing! I wish you the best of times with dancing and your husband, and whatever else you create. Thank you, Annika!
hi Annika, you were a really influential part of my teenage years. i started watching Make Thrift Buy somewhere around episode 5, and quickly become enamored with the idea that i could make my own stuff. you taught me about fast fashion, about the environment, about worker's rights, and about slow fashion. then, one day, you posted your "get ready with me" video. i was so happy i cried. i'd never seen anyone so like me before. from then on, i paid careful attention when you mentioned accomodations in videos, like your migraine glasses and your iron that lifts itself up. i grew up being told that my pain was imaginary, so the idea that i could do things to make it hurt less was revolutionary. thank you for changing my world
I'm crying 😭😭😭 this is why I talked about being disabled. To be the person I needed when I was younger. I'm so so glad I could have been such a positive influence on your life. ❤️
I have been sewing since i was 4 years old. Your videos really helped me to learn through the years and motivated me to keep going. I was excited every time you uploaded a video! I really enjoyed your wedding dress videos and i decided that one day I'm going to sew my wedding dress myself too. I'm 17 years old now and chronically ill too. You inspired me more than just through your sewing. I still remember your video about your chronic illness and how you said that everybody has a different "normal". Every time i take my meds in the morning i think about that. You are amazing and an inspiration. I will miss your content and your tutorials but I'm glad you made that decision for you and your health. There are a lot of people that really care about you, never forget that. I wish you the best!
Your channel inspired me to get into sewing and crafting back in 2014 and now it’s such a huge part of my life. Thank you endlessly for sharing your skills and knowledge. And as someone who is queer and has EDS I appreciate your openness to talking about your experiences and true self. You’re amazing and I hope life eases up on you a bit 🤍
I still use the skater dress pattern that I made YEARS ago watching your videos and use it at least 2-3 times a year. You are also the one who first exposed me to Caravan Palace and the electro swing genre of music. :)
oh no ☹️☹️ i've been a fan for like 4 or 5 years and i hope you've been doing alright..! wherever you go, you have support!! thanks for the years of entertainment and tutorials
Annika, you're a wonderful person who has inspired so many people, including myself. I wish you and Luci all the best, and I want to thank you for all that you've done! Good luck, get some rest, stay safe and stay crafty!
Hello Annika, I am so sad to see you go and I am thrilled for you! I have learned so much from you about disabilities and I am quite literally walking around and educating everyone about invisible disabilities whenever I see someone in the dark, as I used to be. Thank you for your videos - I learned so much about sewing. Your creativity in Make Thrift Buy videos is unparalleled
the ad before this said “the internet is full of wonderful, amazing things” and your channel is definitely exactly that. your videos were so important to my formative years and i cant thank you enough. best of luck in everything!
you inspired me to start sewing, making it look fun and accessible: Thrifting and finding cheap fabrics, being creative and giving us an inclusive and jugment free space with comprehensible and detailed tutorials! I wish you all the best and thank you for all the hard work 😚!
You were I think one of the first youtubers related to sewing that I discovered, I used to think nobody of my age enjoyed sewing and seeing such a cool person like you teach me how to sew was so inspiring for so many years, those memories will stay with me forever, I am happy that you are doing so well now and I wish you nothing but happiness and success in this new chapter love from Mexico 💕
I’m very old 77 but I appreciate the fact that over the last 10 years or so it seems like more people are willing to say who they really feel they are. We all need to love and accept each other. Good for you. I wish you the best. Try to remember to cherish each moment and day and let it be what it is. Keep people around you who accept you. Those who have not suffered do not appreciate and care like us who have. Sending you lots of hugs and caring.
You are one of the reasons I got back more into sewing.❤️ I also have chronic illness and I know how hard it can be. Thank you for everything you’ve done over the years.❤️ also congrats on coming out! I came out a year ago as bi and it’s so freeing!
I am so happy that you have learned more about yoruself and are happier and healthier. That's always the best goal. Best wishes on going forward, whereever your path leads.
Honestly this was what I was hoping to hear; that you've decided to prioritize your health and wellbeing and find what you love. I'm in a similar state and I sympathize with how trying it can be. I hope you continue to do what is best for you! Your videos did inspire me a lot and taught me some great skills as a seamster and gave me some fun ideas of things to make. You also inspired me to never buy clothes again! (Unless, of course, it's really tricky stuff and have to buy it if I REALLY REALLY REALLY want it.) In fact I only bought a pair of jeans and one manga hoodie this year, and made everything else new I wear this year. Hope you continue to do well and be happy!
I'm so glad you're out of the worst of that health scare at least and have been prioritizing yourself and finding yourself, Annika!! I spent so long watching you and learning from you and I will miss getting to see you on here but it's wonderful to see you happy and comfortable and enjoying your sewing again, beyond UA-cam. We'll miss you!! From a fellow enby, all the best for whatever you end up doing in your future 💕
You were my real push and inspiration to start sewing, so thank you so much for that. I'm glad you're recovering and though I'm sad to see you go, I hope you keep finding more and more joys in your life. Thank you, Annika, and good luck!
THEM!!!!! I’m so happy for you! I hope you find joy and fulfillment in all your future adventures! It’s safe to say you’ve taught us so much about sewing, the fashion industry, and life with a chronic illness. I know I’m a better person thanks to everything I’ve learned from you ❤️ Thank you for dedicating such a large portion of your life to making these videos; I’ll be forever grateful. Can’t wait to see what you get up to next on Insta 👀 much love and best wishes ❤️
Thank you for being a spot of joy in the youtube community. Your videos always made me happy, and your sewing tutorials were so helpful. Wishing you the best.
You'll always be an role model - even you prioritizing your health is a statement of self-love. Endlessly supporting you over on ig and we love you lots 💛🌼🌻💖
Just the other day I suggested your videos to my best friend, who was searching for patterns and how to sew... I always find myself coming back to your videos and I´m really happy you seem to feel better now. Thank you for everything, thank you for sharing your experiences, projects and your journey (the good days and the not so good ones). Best of luck to you (and Luci) and a lot of fun further discovering yourself and your own happiness!
So thankful for the time you gave us. I wish you nothing but healing and Happiness. Thank you for helping to find a wonderful community in costube.. you taught so much and I will miss you. But I wish you nothing but happiness here on
Ive loved your videos for years and you are what got me over my fear of machine sewing! Sorry to see you go but im so happy to see you move on to find what helps you be happy and healthy. Burn out is real and you must prioritize yourself over the job. I've loved seeing you on Instagram this past year and will continue to follow you there as well as occasionally binge on your videos here when I need some creative inspiration. You are amazing and I love you.
You’ve thought me so much about sewing and provided so much inspiration throughout the years! We will miss you but your health is most important! We love you 💕
You are beautiful and talented and an amusing person. I learned so much from you, and my favorite lesson is that not every sewing project turns out as you plan and how to laugh at it despite the frustration. Please take care of yourself, and know you will be missed. I wish nothing but happiness for you and Luci for all your days. May prosperity, joy, and good health be the first to cross your threshold for 2022, and may they never be strangers in your life.
I love your "make thrift why" series, it was enjoyable to see someone else get as heated over these big brands price gouging "diy" style and impractical clothing. I'm glad you noticed that you needed to prioritize your health. There will probably be a lot of the people who watch your videos going back and revisiting your existing content. Thank you for reminding me that scraps can still be useful. Congratulations on your gender journey!
I've learnt so much from your videos, I was watching your videos even before I started sewing and your tutorials gave me the courage to try new things and just dive into sewing instead of just being scared of starting to snip the fabric. I love the idea of in person sewing class. I hope you have comfort and joy in your life!
As a non-binary person with a connective tissue disorder, it makes me so so happy to hear that you've found yourself more. The "I'm dissociating because of pain, right?" Is a mood. Of course we're gonna miss you, but UA-cam is so much work I'm just thankful i got to see someone with a similar condition thriving right around when I first got diagnosed. It made the world of a difference for me; at that time I couldn't do any of my hobbies, but you gave me hope that I could do them again. And I can now! Thank you for everything
Do you mind me asking how you were able to do them again. I also have a connective tissue disorder and I have so much trouble engaging in hobbies without my joints bothering me.
@@mellyq92 I'm another hypermobile-EDS person- it obviously depends on the hobby, but definitely even doing the tiniest bit of physical therapy (I've only been doing at home stuff since the Panorama started since I'm also on immune-destroying meds) helps immensely. I fell off the wagon because of depression, but I adopted a new dog and now HAVE to take of myself. I really only do a 1km walk a day and about 10-15 minutes of dedicated PT, but that's enough to help both my mood and joints. I don't have very physically demanding hobbies, mostly gaming, but making sure some of my PT is hand related helps make sure I don't continually mess up my fingers.
I'm so happy that you are putting yourself first and have discovered new things about yourself. I've watched your videos for years and they helped me foster love for sewing and educated me about disabled issues. Thank you so much for all you've done. I'm sad to see you go, but you have to do whats best for you. Sending love and positive vibes!
Annika, thank YOU for being a part of MY sewing journey! I learnt so much from your videos and still after years keep coming back to them! All the best for your health and life. Love from Germany!
Thank you so much Annika, for your openness about chronic illness and pain and self care and all of your tutorials over the years. I have loved getting to live through you and learn so much from you, and your sewing tutorials have always helped me feel inspired creatively.
Thank you for making these awesome videos. They helped me discover my love for sewing. I always looked forward to new ones so I was sad not to hear from you for so long. I'm sad you went through such a horrible experience, but happy you're still alive, rediscovering your identity and improving your body. I hope you keep being healthy and happy!
No, I’m not crying!! 😭 This is the end of an era! Annika, I’ve been enjoying your burlesque sewing on Instagram so much! Can’t wait to see what wonderful things you’ll achieve in the new year 💖
I am so so glad you are doing better and I wish you all the best in whatever it is you decide to do next. I have been following you since the blog days and made my very first circle skirt with a tutorial of yours. You inspired me to seek out thrifting, DIY, and slow fashion, and you taught me so much about disability advocacy. I cant thank you enough for all of your work over the years.
I'm so glad to see you're well. You rekindled my love of sewing and DIY, and you also gave me space to come to terms with who I am as well, both in terms of my chronic mental health issues, but also the space for me to have my own tangle from girl to nonbinary settled. Be well Annika, explore what you want, and fly.
You really sparked my interest for sewing and crafting generally and I came back to your videos so many times for information links, products etc. Also you were one of the few youtubers that made sponsorships so funny that I would actually watch them! Thank you for your time, sharing your knowledge and raising awareness about disability... All the best for your future, it sounds exciting! :)
I'm so glad that you came out! I'm non-binary, and it's lovely to see other enbies come out. I'm glad that you're finding happiness in the next journey of your life. I love that you're into dancing and that you're enjoying sewing. And prioritizing your health, as well as being off work, has made these things possible. Good luck Annika!
very rambly thank you coming up. You are the reason i got into sewing, my mum got me a sewing machine after i spent months watching your content. My first project was using one of your tutorials and I can not thank you enough. Im chronically ill too and having sewing has made such a huge impact on my mental health. You inspired me to look closer at my wardrobe, to stop buying fast fashion and to actually appreciate clothing. And I will always be grateful to you. I hope you`ll keep your videos up as i still reference them a bunch to this day. As sad as it is to see you leave youtube Im looking forward to seeing more of your future endevours on instagram and im super excited for you. Youve changed my life so much, and i can never say thank you enough!
Hey beautiful human! I’ve so appreciated your videos, they’ve really helped me in the past both in terms of sewing as well as just wholesome excellent content that gives me much needed warm fuzzies. So glad you took the time away and SO excited for what comes next for you!! Get out there and knock them out!
Farewell Annika! Your videos taught me so much about sewing and without them I don't think I'd ever have done fashion in uni! Thank you for providing such educational, passionate, and kind videos. Best of luck on everything you do in the future!!!!!!
Your videos were so fun and I learned so much about sewing and chronic illness. When my own chronic condition started getting more painful more frequently, your videos helped me treat myself more gently. I recommended so many of your videos to friends with chronic illness that were into sewing. I was just wondering how you were doing and im so happy to know you're doing so well now. I'm a little sad that your videos are probably never going to be updated again but this was a beautiful farewell. I'm glad your health is better now and I'm glad you're making decisions that are prioritizing your well being. I'm so glad you have found a new interest that brings you so much joy. I'm so glad you've gotten that self-reflection to discover more about your identity
It's great to hear from you! I was just thinking about you the other day and that's when I realized how long you'd been gone. I was glad to see you still posted on Instagram but I was gutted to see how your health deteriorated in your absence. Goodbyes are hard but they're far better than being unhappy. Stay safe and take care of yourself.
You are one of the people who got me sewing. I am so glad you are taking time for yourself and healing and are so so happy. You helped people learn to choose themselves, and it's amazing to see you choosing you.
You’re literally what got me into sewing!! As sad as I am to see you leave UA-cam, I’m even more glad to see you’re doing well. Thank you Annika. I’ll see you around! Take care!!
I am so glad for you! I know how tough accepting the limitations of being human, and being a human with chronic health issues. If you sell patterns or do IRL sewing classes count me in! I saw your name pop up before I retired from social media in the group for the EP clinic I was a client of and that moment made me break a little as I've been a loooong time fan, and you were one of the first youtubers who's open honesty helped me accept that I didn't have to mask all these physical and mental health struggles. All my love on your new adventures!!! Thank you so much for being you and for exploring what I means to be you so candidly
Annika, you’re what got me into sewing and I’m so happy you’re figuring yourself out. Enby gang rise up! I wish you nothing but happiness in your future endeavors. You deserve it. 💖
Definitely not crying rn. I’m very glad you’re doing better. You were the person that really taught me how to sew because I wasn’t able to understand how others were trying to teach me. You were a big reason on why I really started enjoying sewing. Your videos fed my creativity to try and do new things. I’ve done so many things with what you have taught me. Thank you. I hope you get everything you want out of life.
I just discovered your channel through a Tumblr repost on Pinterest and I will definitely be checking out the rest of your videos, to learn from you and hopefully continue to support you even tho you're no longer creating. I hope you're well and your new passions have brought you far. Keep being you, you fabulous human being ♥
girl I AM SOBBING. I’m so happy for you. I’ve never sewed a thing in my life, but I first subbed for your sweet spirit. Your outlook on life was so refreshing. It still is. You’ll always be an inspiration. Wishing you the absolute best
I'm so sorry you have had such a rough time but I'm so glad you are doing so much better and finding your happiness! I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't miss this channel, but I respect your decision and your choices and value your health above all 💙
Thank you for your videos! They have helped me to start on my sewing journey and giving me much needed confidence to do what I want. You have always felt like a sewing friend for me! Thank you again for being there
Annika, I wish you nothing but the best, I got into sewing a few years ago and loved your channel as soon as I watched one of your videos of a dress you made. Thank you for everything and good luck
its sad to see you go your videos are soo cool and real I watch your videos for 3 years now and its sad that an awesome creator like you leaves I wish you all the best and happiness lots of love and stay the way you are because you are amazing❤❤
I was always thinking about you and feeling worried for you! I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better, as a fellow nonbinary /demi-girl I wish you all the best in everything you choose to do from now on and forever. I'll always love your quirky and fun nature and return to your videos as self care/comfort
I think this goodbye vid is the most peaceful. I’m so so happy you prioritised yourself, your health, working out what worked for you and who you are. I learned so much from you and your videos and am so grateful for all your insights into sewing but also life, values and all that. Sending so much love and appreciation!!
You're my favorite sewing UA-camr. You helped me when I first started sewing and your videos are continuing to help me. Thank you for everything! I wish you luck!
I absolutely loved your videos! When I first found your channel as a young adult, you inspired me to go back to sewing, the difference between fast and slow fashion and to go shopping at Op shops. I think about your video often when I’m in a Salvos or Vinnies! I hope you are able to stabilise your illnesses and are able to do all the things you enjoy! I hope one day I can say thank you in person!
I’m so happy to see you moving forward in your life and putting your health at the forefront. Your amazing bubbly personality will be missed on this platform, but everything i’ve learned from your videos will always remain as treasured knowledge that has helped me become more creative and flexible in my own sewing journey. Thank you for all the fun and silliness along the way. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours.
I wish you success on all of your journeys. I’m glad to hear that your health is doing better & that you found/are finding your authentic self. Sending you lots of love ❤️
So glad to see you in a better place mentally and physically! Such a wonderful gift for the holidays. Thank you so much for your amazing videos, they inspired me to take a risk and buy a sewing machine, branch out and try new things. As one chronic illness sufferer to another, thank you for helping me de-stigmatise mobility aids in my own mind. Wishing you all the best!
My life got really complicated and hectic when I had my two children over the last three years, so I missed this update and eventually thought - where is that quirky sewing person I used to watch? I'm sorry to hear you had such a huge medical emergency. I am so glad to see you have found passion in sewing again, especially in the burlesque scene, it definitely suits you. Lastly, happy for you that you have figured yourself out and so pleased for you that it is a huge relief for you as they/them. See you again when I see you again. Wishing you the very best for the future. Thank you for your content over the years :)
I’m glad to hear that you’re doing okay, and that you’ve found something you’re inspired by. While it’s still a bit sad to hear that you’re leaving, it’s absolutely joyful to hear you’re chasing your dreams.
Your videos make sewing seem so approachable and fun and really inspired me to try my best. I loved how candid you were about when things worked out and when things came out not quite right and how to fix it. Thankyou for everything and I’m so happy things are going well for you and I hope they continue to in the future! ❤️
I'm so happy you got to a point in your journey where you feel comfortable in your body and with your identity. It can be really hard to separate the pain/discomfort of dysphoria from the pain/discomfort of a chronic illness, so I'm really really happy and proud of you for getting there! It took me ages to get to the same place, and now we have matching pronouns again!!
Hi Annika, thank you for sharing one last video with us. I've truly learnt a lot from you and your channel. Not only about sewing, but also chronic illnesses. I don't know how to express my gratitude, but I'll keep happily following you on Instagram and whenever I need some sewing advice, I know I can come back to your channel!
I'm crying/laughing reading all these comments. Thanks for making me feel so warm and fuzzy! And don't worry, my videos will stay up here for as long as UA-cam exists ❤️ please come back to them as much as you would like!
I'm excited to follow you off UA-cam and see you continue to grow! Best of luck in all your future endeavors!!!
During the pandemic we have been binged your videos so much. Thank you, Annika. I'm glad that they will continue to be there to watch.
Good luck!! Loved watching your content and wish you well!
Thank you for everything annika, have a wonderful life ❤
I'm so sad to see you go, yet so happy you are taking time for yourself. I remember fangirling over you replying to one of my comments from a year ago, on a years old video, about boob and bra sizes, I doubt you remember but to me that was a huge moment, and made me get back into a project I had fallen out of love with. Thanks for doing that whilst you were struggling so much
You were the first to ever show me what living a "normal life" with a chronic Illness could be like thank you for that wishing you the best.
Thank you for all the good times, you rock, and keep being true to you ✨
This message is so lovely it made me tear up. ❤
🥺 omg i felt the same
same, i've learned so much from her, more than just sewing.
@@Chaoticgarden still here!! ❤️ Also still taking a million pills to keep me here haha

You’ll be welcomed with wide open arms if you ever choose to come back ♥️♥️
This, all of this!
Just the other day I was thinking, "What happened to Annika?"
I'll miss you but I'm glad you're finding yourself and pursuing things that make you happy. Good luck 💛
That was me literally yesterday
Had the exact same experience
Today due to my hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome, I used a wheelchair in public for the first time and thought to myself ‘remember Annika, be a babe with a mobility aid’. Then this evening I came across this video - thank you for your videos across the years and helping me gain the confidence that got me through today; I hope you are enjoying life on any path you so choose!! ❤️
I AM CRYING. I hope it's helped you so so so much!!
I am so hopeful for everything you do! I learned so much style pointers and confidence building projects. I’m so grateful to you.
Thinking the same ❤❤❤❤❤
You taught me how to make a circle skirt, a skill I'll never forget. You inspired me to create and I'll always be greatful for that
It’s sad to see you go Annika, but it’s totally understandable for you to leave and look after yourself and explore more different opportunities, to see what you want to do in life!!!
I have learned so many different sewing techniques from you and adored your style and videos, so thank you so so much for sharing everything with us. 💖
I can’t wait to see what you’ll do in the future and am so happy you are still here with us!!! 🥺🥰💖💖
I've always admired and appreciated your transparency regarding chronic illness. It's not discussed openly enough, and it absolutely should be. Thank you for all the fun and quirky projects you've shown us over the years. ❤❤
I’m so sad to see you go but so happy for you! 💜
As a young, chronically ill, disabled, nonbinary, sewer and crafter I relate to you and look up to you so much and you’ve made me feel so much less alone over the years.
I wish you the best on this new journey! Sending you lots of love from someone who’s accompanied your career for years
As a fellow spoonie, you really made me feel less alone. I really learned to love to sew through you! I’m glad you’re doing what’s best for you!
I’m a spoonie too and it’s been great to see and hear Annika talking about the condition because I don’t hear much about it
we’re happy you’re starting to feel happy. happy holidays and good luck with your life!! :)
sad to see you go but thank you for everything! whatever you end up doing will be amazing. sending love from across the pond
I was randomly thinking about you the other day! Hope you’re well!
Congratulations on your gender journey!
wasnt it make thrift buy? also i agree, i loved them so much! im so glad they could make those videos for us!!
@@GooseVis56 she also had a subsection that was make thrift why, only a few of them compared to the make thrift buy though :)
@@eevesjunkyard ohh yeah thanks :)
@@mellyq92 pain meds and braces etc help a lot :)
How exciting! I'm so pleased to hear your evolution to "happy queer who has figured themself out"
Thank you for making these awesome videos.
Can’t wait to see what wonderful things you’ll achieve in the new year 💖
❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you wonderful human! We have to keep in touch! I've always thought your sewing projects are just the coolest ❤️
:( I wish you all the best in everything you do with your life! Stay strong, stay safe and stay you.
Hate to see you go, love that you’re choosing to follow your health and your happiness. I wish you the best
i’m so proud of who you have become over the years. whatever you do in life, we’ll support you all the way. we love you so so much. 🥺❤️
Awww we will miss you! Best wishes on ur future adventures!
They use they them pronouns and girl is gendered!!
Wishing you lots of love Annika! Also I instinctively touched wood - my bedside table for ya. Take your time to heal xx
Thank you for everything and good luck
its sad to see you go your videos are soo cool and real
I watch your videos for 3 years now and its sad that an awesome creator like you leaves
I wish you all the best and happiness
lots of love and stay the way you are because you are amazing❤❤
I was always thinking about you and feeling worried for you! I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better, as a fellow nonbinary /demi-girl I wish you all the best in everything you choose to do from now on and forever. I'll always love your quirky and fun nature and return to your videos as self care/comfort
I think this goodbye vid is the most peaceful. I’m so so happy you prioritised yourself, your health, working out what worked for you and who you are. I learned so much from you and your videos and am so grateful for all your insights into sewing but also life, values and all that. Sending so much love and appreciation!!
Proud of how far you’ve come and where you’re going to go from here💜 Thank you for gracing us all these years!
You're my favorite sewing UA-camr. You helped me when I first started sewing and your videos are continuing to help me. Thank you for everything! I wish you luck!
Thank you annika. I STILL REMEMBER LEARNING HOW TO SEW CIRCLE SKIRT THAT IS FROM YOU! Sending love and Merry Christmas to you. ❤❤❤❤
I hope one day I can say thank you in person!
i have been watching you since i was like 12! you literally inspired me to start sewing. thank you for the memories. ❤️
Wishing you all the best!
you’re the reason I want to learn how to sew, and even know anything about sewing. thank you for everything Annika 😭 we’ll miss you 💕
My life got really complicated and hectic when I had my two children over the last three years, so I missed this update and eventually thought - where is that quirky sewing person I used to watch?
