The police think they're so clever by asking for names "because we're just having a conversation - as a way to milk personal info from us that goes into additional entries on their database. But we the viewers of this channel are not stupid. We know their game. And it's not a nice one from our point of view.

Bike registration is so they can have info on kids their address parents names address and if they want to id a child they can say I need to check if your bike is stolen then see the id and know your details. If you want to secure your bike add your own id or customise it and take a photo then if it’s stolen you have a id for the bike only to give them rather then them always having your full id on file
