Mad car Jay! Been watching all your videos, don't see many videos on IS300's like this. If you dont mind me asking, with your rim and tyre size did you have to roll your fenders or do they fit right in without rubbing (including while hitting bumps) if you do roll your fenders - is that due to you running an aftermarket suspension/ lowering your car or is it all stock?
Hey, thanks! The wheels are Work CR Kai 18x8.5 +38 (front) 18x9.5 +38 (rear).
Tires are BFG Sport Comp 2 235/40/18 (front) 255/35/18 (rear). The car is lowered on BC Racing coilovers and the fenders are rolled (the rears will still rub if I have 300+lbs in the back seat).
@@twojay jesus christ this things only got a 255 on the back? Ive got a 255 on my 17 mustang gt relatively stock and its not enough. Gonna do a 315 staggered setup when i go boosted in the spring. Thats the widest tire you can throw on it without modification. Ive been lookin at building a 2jz as a side project and have always loved the is300's for some reason
If at all possible can you please release a full parts list for this build. Especially including the engine management details and any info on internal upgrades or fortifications of the block and head. I'm starting in on a build and would love some extra info. @@twojay Did you upgrade your oil pump to the GTE one and did you change the cams at all?
@@twojay Does the stand alone AEM come with the tuning software for the module?
@@232Stangpwr Just running a GE oil pump that I slightly modified myself. BC 272 cams (with BC springs and retainers). The AEMTuner software is free to download from the AEM website. I would suggest finding a reputable tuner in your area if you haven't dealt with tuning before.
@@twojay did you shim the oil pump for more pressure or what exactly did you modify?
Do you still have the efr turbo? They are quick spooling. I like what you've done with the car. I bet you surprise a lot of people on the road. I would like to see some of those faces... lol

It's called a harness bar. This one is made by Braum, part number BRHB-48BM.

I'm not sure what you're talking about.
@@twojay well most of the turbo 2jz have that turbo flutter noise when shifting but yours doesnt sound like that ru running an electronic boost controller solenoid ?
@@rahulpersaud3379 With a proper blow off valve, there should be no "flutter".
