    Hi....thanks so much for this twist on an old favorite.
    I did have a question. Did you have to do anything to the chocolate chips to keep it set after you remove it from the fridge. When I try recipes and substitute chocolate chips for the candy wafers, I always have a problem with the chocolate getting mushy as it warms up. Thanks!

      I have not had that problem. It could be that the chocolate chips weren't tempered properly. If you live in a humid climate, that could also be a reason.

      Thank you so much. I think humidity was the problem. I had no idea.

    Can you put milk In the Carmel

    • @CinnamonSweetShoppe
      @CinnamonSweetShoppe  7 років тому +1

      If you add any liquid to the caramel it will thin it out and you won't be able to wrap it around the pretzel.

    Can i use fondant instead of caramel?

    • @CinnamonSweetShoppe
      @CinnamonSweetShoppe  7 років тому

      I can't see why you wouldn't be able to. Give it a try and let me know the results.

      Ok, i will! Thanks for replying!

      That would probably taste horrible seeing as though Fondant hardens much faster, as well as doesn't have much flavor.

    What kind of cream do you use to melt the caramels?

  • @rharris8890
    @rharris8890 7 років тому

    couldn't you just use the caramel wraps that they make for putting on apples?

    • @CinnamonSweetShoppe
      @CinnamonSweetShoppe  7 років тому

      You could try it but you won't get that zigzag look to them. Also, the caramel used for apple dipping is thinner and may not hold up.
