I just wanted to tell you that my late-husband and I spent a spring visiting Civil War battlefields. Chaplains from both sides lived amongst the soldiers. They worked without insignia, uniforms, or weapons, thus many were killed. And when soldiers surrendered or were captured, even though the chaplains would not be taken by either side, they chose to go with their men to the prison camps. My pastor said chaplains always have been and always will be on the front lines of life, amongst the people. So I thank you for your serving, Marion, and I thank you for your ministry. Godspeed.

I'm sure I can imagine what drove this young father from the edge of his balcony. Let us pray for his family and son may they come to know Jesus through this tragedy. Let us pray for his former bandmates and pray that they too come to know Christ and not suffer deaths similar. However, what you said back then has really helped me today as well - I think it was the work of the Holy Spirit again! I'm looking forward again for your thoughts tomorrow.
I'm guilty of moral living, I've prayed for forgiveness for those bad decisions. My last relationship was 25 or more years ago, and I've never looked back. My thinking of that part of my life has changed, I'd rather be bitten by a dog, than be in another relationship..
Divorce is one of the most contentious theological issues. I have come across many who say remarriage is not allowed after divorce. Of course in the case of danger or abuse especially to children then separation is allowed. The Bible says God 'hates divorce'. Also the Bible says a man is not to divorce his wife and if a wife divorces her husband she is to remain single OR reconcile. Jesus said 'hardness of hearts' was the issue. The 'exception clause' in Scripture is one of the most ardently debated pieces of Scripture. Anyway Marion it seems we are now in contentious areas? Sex, divorce, remarriage and in all these things we find much sin, brokenness and human failure.

I was angry this morning so I didn’t watch your video. I said I’ll watch it after work because I knew I would not be able to give it my full attention until then. My mind would wander. I was angry all day and I actually gossiped about the person that made me angry from this morning. after watching it, I should’ve watched it first thing. I was just telling God today that here I do praise and worship yesterday and I’m rejuvenated only to deal with the real world and it seems to go out the window. as far as foul language, I don’t know when it was, but I detest it, and I do not like to hear the Lord’s name in vain. It’s everywhere. I can’t even go to the grocery store without hearing it. UA-cam keeps offering me free movies and even though some are PG or PG-13 I have to go to IMDb and see if it has any mild profanity or worse blasphemy. there was this one movie that did and if it didn’t have that one blasphemy it would’ve been a really nice movie. sometimes I mess up and I don’t research it and next thing you know I have to shut the movie off in the middle because somebody exclaims a blasphemy. there’s no good reason that Hollywood or scriptwriters need to add that. It makes me sad, people used to not speak like that. Things were different back then when I was growing up. I miss the good old days and I am referring to the 70s/80s my era. I finally understood the rapture after watching Marion's commentary. All the pieces that I've known for years finally fell into place.
