You and I were cut from the same cloth.
I was born in’63. Raised my entire young life as a true believer. Buried deeply in the F.O.G. (FEAR OBLIGATION and GUILT)
I vividly remember, not WHEN “the end would come” but rather “jehovah, please let me be a good boy until’75”…
I was 12 in ‘75. By the time I turned 14, I told my mom that something had changed in me. It took me years to figure out, but in truth, I realized the bs at that early age.
I was PIMO from that point on until I was 30 and had had enough.
Life has gone on, I have children and grandchildren and to be honest, it still hurts knowing that the people that my parents, and I, trusted and believed in for so long, had lied all along. Unfortunately, my parents have died while waiting as true believers.
I will say one thing, it absolutely was “A BEAUTIFUL DREAM”
So sorry my friend....I'm glad you have family and friends around you now. You're just little older than me, but those of us that lived through 1975 have to keep the awareness alive....the younger generations have no clue the history

Yeah well I’m 68 and I was born in basically my mom came in when I was a year old. So yeah this rides been pretty bumpy and I’m getting off. When I was little we sat down as a family and discussed whether I should get braces or not. And I was included in the decision not to so we canceled our appointment. FYI I never did get them. Seems like we were supposed to be in the new system or something? Oh yeah that business that my dad was gonna set me up in do that either cause I need to go out and Service I’ll stop there because I want to save some of this for my son’s book he’s going to write

From October 31 to December 29 there are 59 days ; 366 days(in 1916) minus 59 days = 307 days(Ezekiel 4:6) + 1607(Jamestown Virginia Colony) = 1914 . 1852+1916+1963(me)+2025(?) = 7756 divided by 4 = 1939 , start of WW II (19+39 times 19+14) .
From February 16(in 1916) to October 31 there are 258 days . From July 4 to December 17 there are 166 days(the father of Russell) . 258+166=424 + 1492(New World) = 1916 . (Ezekiel 4:6) .

I just watched the Country Music video. I assume that JW Broadcasting is shown at the Kingdom Halls. Is it? I've been out since 1986. The video should have chaps wearing men on horseback roping and herding proverbial sheep. Why wouldn't they think of that. Are older members (like my 82 year old sister) finally waking up?
They mostly watch JW Broadcasting at home. When I was 'in', we always watched the Broadcasting with other members of the fieldservice group at one of the Elders...
I wonder the same thing....this cannot be going over well with older JWs.....I'd be laughing my arse off!
