The first batch of Grecale did have some bugs on electronic systems since it a new model and the whole electronic system is brand new to Maserati. Here are some solutions collected from the forum of grecale users.
    1. Key fod sensor occasionally out: ask the dealer to move the receiver from cockpit to the roof right under the location of antena. The windshield of grecale contains metal materials for better heat refection but sometimes it weakens the signal of the key fod. Remember to ask the dealer to repair all the keys after relocating the receiver.
    2. e-Gear selection: This might be the most annoying thing. Even when it works well, it is not that user-friendly to switch gear, like to reverese or R to D, whild driving. For early versions of Grecale, model year 2023, there is the features that you can directly switch from R to D by click on the right padel and back to R with left one, and also click both to turn the gear to N. This is a convenient function but somehow it easily triggers the protection mode of ZF gearbox and locks the gear (I think that could be your case). Model year 2024 takes aways this feature while 2023 can disable this after a software update. Fewer gear swticher issues after that but it's just annoying that you have to look and click everytime to switch gear while driving. There is only one case I heard about the malfuction of the whole gear selection module and Maserati has to replace the whole MIA panel (yes, the panels of information and aircon) to resolve it. Maybe you could ask your dealer to replace it under warranty.
    3. Battery drain: seldem happens after some software updates. The 2024 models don't have this issue and 2023 can be updated to resolve that. Heard that the original software will force the car keep searching key fods and drain the battery but not sure if this is the cause.
Anyway. Mechanicalwise, this care is assemled well, works well, and everything is perfect, but electronical-wise, I think Maserati is still debugging some issues because this brand is not really good at those digital stuffs. You can either trade-in it or give it a last try asking for replacement of certain parts under warranty. To be honest, it is hard to find a replaced model in the segement to have fun driving a SUV like this.

I have 4,500 miles on mine. Taking it to the dealer on Monday cuz I have a laundry list of issues - key fob working occasionally, sound system issues, car not fully turning off sometimes and etc…you should consult with a lemon law lawyer before considering a trade in.

I’m sorry to hear that - I’ve had key fob issues as well. Buttons won’t always work or the proximity unlock. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve struggled to unlock the door standing in the rain.

I really hope you either stick by this car or get another one in around 2025 when stuff has been worked out. Sounds like you love the car.

It is what it is. Like you said, I'm not sure if associating a first year, first generation model Maserati with reliability was a great expectation to have. Even if the car was $30,000, stuff like that could've happened.

Yea man it’s the risk you take when buying a 1st year. At the end of the day it’s all 1st world problems anyhow lol.

I have 34K miles on my ‘23 already. A few minor electronic issues early that were solved by software upgrades. Since then, PERFECT! Love this car - and zero issues on mine.

Wish I could say the same. Car has been at the dealership for the past week getting a list of repairs done. A Maserati representative had to inspect the car while it was at the dealership. Fingers crossed this is the end of all my electrical gremlins
