Just a side note.. Its kind of funny that is rush hour traffic Ann Arbor.. Growing up in Chicago and now living in Nashville, TN that is the sort of traffic I would experience on a Sunday night at like 11pm.. :)
I love it but the price of admission for the Trofeo is eye watering. Even 90k for the 4cyl Modena is painful. Once they start offering discounts they should start moving them. There isn’t enough visual difference in the Trofeo for the price. They need even more spicy colors and trim bits. Cool car. Great review!!
This car shares the same platform as the Alfa Tonale and Dodge Hornet and Jeep Compass? I don't believe any of those are selling remarkably well in the US. Will the Grecale find the right combination to make it a success? If not... I'm certainly hoping to pick one up in a couple of years at a nice price.
@@v12-s65 the resale on the Maserati is worst than the Germans buddy , is this your first time looking at the Maserati market ? 😆 The 2015 macan still goes for 21 to 32k when it was 50k starting so it barely lost 50% of its value over a 10 year span , weird comparison lol it didn’t drop 22k the first year like a 2023 grecale did 😆, the 2023 macan sport still goes for 55k with only 8k mileage , showing a 13k drop from when it was new so yes Germans hold better than a Maserati how sad 😆
$110k for an SUV with the same 0-60 and top speed of an X3M that cost $75k is insanity. Like you said, it's priced $30k above its competitors which doesn't make sense knowing the service pricing, lifespan, reliability, technology, etc. is a lot better in the X3M. Not to mention the value plummeting into an abyss like with every Maserati in the last 25 years. The car has literally 0 pros of existence. This car will be $45k 3 years from now and even then the only target audience it will have is people who make under $50k a year trying to look rich... again, just like every Maserati.
You‘re just yapping. My friend has a Lambo Urus and I just checked out the Trofeo with him. Interior is next level to an X3M. Let alone the design and sound system are much better. The Maserati offers more legroom too. It has the more emotional engine and seems to be fairly reliable to this day, 53‘000km currently. Comes with very comfortable or sporty air suspension which the X3 doesn‘t have and the exhaust note is better from the factory. All in all it‘s the less common, more exclusive and emotional car to buy compared to an X3M. The bmw is a very good car, but not this level of special
I must disagree. I just switched to one of these from a Macan GTS, which I picked up after owning a G63 for a while. Fit, finish, and steering feel of the Grecale are superior to both. Please don’t bring downmarket brands like BMW into this, however; if bang-for-the-buck was the objective, I’d go for a procharged C4 Vette or something. However, the name of the game is exclusivity. Edit: don’t get me started on the resale value argument. Most are leasing these under a C-corp/LLP and writing off depreciation on ownership or lease payments as OpEx. The more expensive the asset is, and the faster it’s depreciating, the better from the income tax perspective.
