My May has been very busy - it's always one of the most chaotic months of the year for me at work. So, it's mostly been not-fun stuff. The thing I enjoyed most this month was last Saturday when my coworkers and I (four in total) participated in a nationwide Walk for Alzheimer's. We had raised money as a team, and though the weather was bad enough that the official event's walk in our city was cancelled (😢), later that morning, it had cleared up, so we got a few laps in anyway. The next day, I did a long walk by myself in my neighbourhood in lieu of the previous day - more than 6 miles. Overall, the Walk for Alzheimer's in our local area raised more than $300K!
Best thing this month: testing at school finally ended and I am now on summer vacation!

Best thing I did in May was a trip to FL to see one of my besties in a play. Quick trips are always so busy, but it was good for the soul to be around my people. Your plants and garden are glorious! I aspire to have a small garden one day. Love your vlogs so much!

Since you asked, the best thing I did in May was to retire! I’m still going to be on contract for a small period of time to keep things operational until my replacement starts at the end of July, but these last two weeks have been brilliant!

You are braver than me. After 2 bad rounds of braces in the 80s, and my lower teeth recrowding from wisdom teeth coming in, i refused to do Invisiline. The dentist asks every time and my response is more horrified each time😬
Not going to lie - I've had it a full month now and still don't feel super hot with them in, but after having braces for 4 years, I think/hope the next 7 months will fly by!
