Gracias a ti conocí los packing cubes y mi vida se ha vuelto muuuuchoooo más simple. Hace poco he hecho un viaje de 5 semanas de duración y ha sido todo mucho más fácil de organizar. Lo metí todo enrollado con mucho cuidado y a cada prenda le puse un elásticos en los extremos para que no se desenrollara ni moviera y quedó todo perfecto.La semana que viene me tengo volver a ir de viaje y haré exactamente lo mismo . I've learned the absolute joy of carryons and packing cubes. I can't understand why anyone would want to pack any other way!
I am a Nester, too! Packing cubes do make it so much quicker and easier. I don't know how we managed before buying ours last year. I tend to over pack, but even if I don't wear everything, the packing cubes usually keep things nice until I return home. Each family member has a different color set of cubes, so it's Easy Peasy!
First: I learned some informative things, such as it is faster to unpack when one has packing cubes. However, one thing I learned about myself is this. I rarely unpack unless I have no choice(or if I've moved to a place permanently).

BUT something NO ONE HAS EVER MENTIONED is your WONDERFUL little jingle on your opening "tap on the camera lens"and I mean NEVER , EVER change it...because now when I hear it I become happy knowing "words of wisdom" will be following.

I have written about it before but you made me realise again that I travel like a barbarian..I mean no packing cubes and I never unpack...I just grab what I need...also I have less clothes in my bag...I do laundry by hand when I'm travelling...

i love those packing cubes! the first time i tried it with Daiso's packing cube because i just wanted to try and not waste too much money on just you trying for the first time. But i think it works GREAT! Maybe ill just stick to Daiso's packing cube~ lol.. just wanted to recommend this to those who wanted to try this method but is under a budget like me! =D

liz c Pack enough for a week and do laundry halfway through. You should also pack some warmer layering clothes because it tends to get chilly overnight in the mountains.

Hi - I have an editing question. How to do make the clothes "appear" when you where doing your 5 outfits?
I am definitely not a editing expert but one way to do it start recording on the blank table , then keep the camera rolling and put whatever you want on the table , then edit the part out of you setting the " thing " on the table .

But what if it's cold? What if it rains? What if you spill something? What if you wake up very bloated? What if you want something to lounge around in in your room? What if you just don't feel like wearing that top or dress on that day? Sonia - pack MORE!!!

MishezzieMay She's going to Disney World, it doesn't get cold in Florida. If it rains, she packed a rain jacket and an umbrella. If you're afraid of spilling something on your clothes, you could bring an extra outfit or buy something new to wear (I rarely come home from vacation without doing a little clothes shopping anyway). If you tend get bloated, pack an outfit for that. And to prevent the "I don't feel like wearing that today" feeling, only pack outfits you love and you feel good in.

Try being a plus size and having the same amount of space with the same amount of close.

soniastravels Yes, please! I too am plus-sized and I am packing for one year. I only want to take a carry-on and one checked bag. I feel like my clothes are taking up so much more space than they would if I were smaller-framed. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

I am small framed myself, but when I go on trips that require more clothing and/or bulkier clothing I use roll up compressed vacuum travel bags! They are amazing and you can find them on Amazon for a reasonable price :)

Sonia, you should go to Indonesia it's very nice and go to Raja Ampat, the beach is amazing! And maybe you can learn Indonesia's language.
