12:45 try turning the amperage down a touch and also stick the spindle in the oven and pre heat it a bit, you'll find it a lot easier to weld and get a thicker bead.
WE'll get an oven at the shop eventually!

Got some e34 540i front callipers and e32 735i rear calipers. Need to refurbish them and buy some coils. Hope to get everything ready for spring
Great video, i had 540 with 750 rears it made a huge difference but there are actually a few options depending on bias and cost. I want to put coil overs but the longer time goes on the more i ponder if you could install or make a custom setup easier (but know im over thinking it for a dream haha)

BMW tech here. Always torque suspension under load, with screw jack, otherwise you pre-loaded the bushings for failure. Also, you forgot the caliper spring clips. Cheers, ed.

All the suspension was torqued at ride height, just didnt show it and the springs were put on as well. Thanks for the reminder though!

I have a M30 sitting at the shop but the M20 is so good on gas and reliable that I wont be swapping it until something terminal happens.

Yo! Just a headsup. EVERY Centric caliper that I've bought from RockAuto has rusted in CALIFORNIA. I highly suggest using Por-15's caliper paint to keep them from rusting. I love you guys!!!

Speed Academy ok M50 swap then lol. It’ll showcase how well BMW’s are with swapping different parts from different year cars. Ok at least do a head swap from the E30 325i and some headers then 🙏🏼 😝
Oh you have an 87 model, scrap that you’ll need matching pistons too. 88 and up its just a top end swap.

where did you get your brake kit and suspension arms from?
I was thinking of going with the Ireland engineering big brake kit, 750i front 540i rear. As for suspension I went with the CAtuned suspension kit
Bought everything from RockAuto.com expect the rotors. Heard the CAtuned suspension is nice as well.

We have fans but when shooting videos they make too much noise :( so we have to turn them off.

Yes, they're real. Its hard to find them but they do exist. I would start on ebay. Not sure if replicas exist either.

Why did you chose to tig the strut tubes? MIG can lay down lots of material.
I can ensure better penetration. My MIG is only 120V.

That is a coilover. Coil spring over shock is literally what it means, right?
After all that, I would have done a wheel stud conversion as well.

Okay, super-noob question/comment here, but I'm not that familiar with BMWs, mechanically at least. Do the wheels use like bolts or something to mount? It's just weird not seeing studs coming out from the hubs and through the brakes like the other cars I'm used to (I'm a JDM and American car person, normally). I guess I've just never noticed it lol.

Yes, and sometimes its annoying to get the wheels on without studs. There are conversions out there but the bolts have their own advantages too.

Yeah, it seems to deodorize the interior really well.

This is going to brake like crazy ! Don't drive a stock e30 you will be so disapointed ! The first time I drove the e28 I thought that the braking was soooooo much better than my 325is e30. I can't imagine the deceleration with this new setup !

Yes the slots look like they face the wrong way but that is the correct orientation.
