@Anh Pham I thought both made compelling arguments. Myers shouldn't get all the credit for the Warriors' success, but he certainly was a contributing factor with some of the transactions he made.
Bob Myers is a sorry GM for running away from the mess he created. Obviously the best example is Krause I’m Chicago, he didn’t draft MJ but made great moves after the fact. Still a hall of famer but didn’t draft the key cog.
No matter what anyone says, bob is the reason that we won the championship last year. He flipped D'lo into Andrew wiggins who was our second best player in the finals and even got the second pick out of it. This season I put the blame on dray and kerr. Dray for punching Poole & kerr for not playing the younger guys ( moody & kuminga ). Kuminga is a freak of nature and has developed his shooting so much to the point where i can see hes actually a good shooter. Not to mention moody who played phenomenal in the lakers series when he finally got minute's. Kerr was playing anthony lamb and ty jerome over kuminga and moody all season long.
Jerry West stopped that Klay trade, KD wanted to play with Steph and Klay because he liked the way they played and Iggy said it multiple times that he wanted to play with the Warriors he never mentioned Myers. Kerr just finished what Mark Jackson started.
Maintaining an organisation that is in the successful lane is extremely hard in any sector. We all know a lot of heirs who messed up successful family business organisations. The very first time I agree with this Skip dog dude - I’ve said the same about Bob… Steph’s ankle played a bigger role than Bob
You probably do not watch the Warriors very close so I get how you could think that way. They do not beat the cavs for the first ring without Igudala and Harrison Barnes (who Myers got) They may not have won the next two rings without K>D> (who Myers got) They dont get 4th ring without Payton Jr. Wiggins and Poole(who Myers got) Myers drafted Kevon Looney with a late pick. So maybe Steph and Clay never win a ring without Bob Myers (and definitely don't win 4)
I'm with Mad Dog on this one. He was inherited the best backcourt in NBA history all he had to do was not mess it up.
Chris you sound so stupid bro
To say “all he has to do is not mess it up” is such a non educated lazy thought process. Cause anyone with two ears and a brain should be able to comprehend that it’s more to it than that but whatever

this!
@@josephgonsalves755 You are literally just going to give every credit to Meyers as if he was responsible for every pick when it was clear who came to recruit KD in the first place and had nothing to do with a relationship with Meyers. JJ tried to make the argument as well and it shows the lazy way of thinking. A sort of well the dynasty happened so everyone associated is the great. Nah, for sure you can call Steph the greatest PG or the greatest shooter ever. From there everything is debatable and so that's why there is debate.
Lol jj let that old dude get to him 😂😂😂
He's a historian of the sport !!!
People forget Jerry West was instrumental putting the team together. Part of the reason they didn't trade Klay for Love is because West threatened to quit of they made that move. AND West is why they hired Thompson and many role players. West deserves a ton of credit.
I'm sick of people ignoring that. Yes!
Facts
No way durant left because of kerr. Was soley because of green. 100%
Lmaooooo @ JJ “I don’t even know who that is”
Everyone that was part of it deserves tremendous credit. Sports is a family
Stephan A Jj and mad dog is a dope combo!!!! There hilarious together
🤣That one person off screen lost it at "I don't know who Rick Willabee is"
Mad Dog is right and once again JJ is salty that everyone doesnt agree with him cause he was a 7th man in the league. None of that matters with out Steph and Klay
Bob deserves credit but you can’t tell me he deserves to be with Jerry West and Pat Riley in the HOF. Draymond the one who cried to KD to come after getting destroyed by Lebron
JJ and Mad Dog relationship is hilarious
Steph, Klay and Dray talk highly about how important Myers has been to their dynasty but these analysts think they know better about the workings of their own team 😂
The question isn't highly it is HOF
Absolutely love this trio. Big 3 vibes for sure
this was the best episode I've seen in a years
I agree with Mad Dog. Drafting Steph and Klay is the integral part of their success. Same reason why Krause was underrated, coz he didn't draft the most important piece.
Ignoring the wiseman pick Myers completely wiffed on Lmaoo MadDog had ammo he didn’t even use

@@josephgonsalves755 nothing I said had anything to do with that all I said was MadDog had ammo he didn’t use, when did I give an opinion on bob myers? 😂
JJ wants to be a coach or gm one day so he always sides with the players and organizations. Bob Myers dissed Kd right after they won that ring and is half of the reason KD left. And mark Jackson gets no credit and doesn't have a coaching job??? That stuff is all politics and who you know like JJ said. MADD DOGG won this segment
The fact that Mark Jackson can't get a job is ridiculous.
Dog is right, he's a little overrated. There's only so much credit you can take when the main pieces were already there.
I blame Bob Myers for not taking Lamelo, I’m sorry
It was a CoVid season so you had no tape on almost any prospects, EXCEPT THE INTERNET SENSATION WE BEEN SEEING FOR 5 YEARS
Madd Dogg is Hilarious 🤣😆🤣 "What is Steve kerr ??? Red Auerbach ?!?!!"
Dude wasted the #2 overall pick
Bob Myers deserves credit for being the GM. Drafted Draymond Green, hired Steve Kerr, had a 73-9 team, signed KD, and won 4 NBA titles. He deserves his flowers.
Myers deserves the credit but not that much that him leaving means GSW is over.
Its a known facts that JJ knows better:
1) GST wanted Stan Van and he was by far their 1st choice. He turned them down for power in DET;
2) Klay for Love only didnt happen because West through himself in front of it. Said he wouldnt work w GST if they made the trade
Why give Myers credit for that or players union voting for TV money to come in all in ONE summer?
Myers dipping before the real tough decisions have to be made 😂
He probably knows the team is stuck with Poole. They can’t afford to keep the big three together.
SAS has so much respect for JJ because he knows what he says is facts.
he said stole shaq like a thief in the night in atlanta 😂😂
Less Molly more arguing lol
Mad dog argues just to argue
Reddick is sensational with his analysis. He's always prepared and thoroughly does his research! He brings receipts!
Too bad mad dog was absolutely on point with this topic
@Anh Pham I thought both made compelling arguments. Myers shouldn't get all the credit for the Warriors' success, but he certainly was a contributing factor with some of the transactions he made.
@@philb.1502 Some dude called out jj redick's "klay trade rumours" up in the comments!
I love that Mad Dog always brings up players and coaches from the 60’s-80’s lol
This is hilarious.. Best part is that everyone at the table makes great points and no one is wrong..
10:07 😂 this sequence is hilarious
Doggy is partially Right
Mad dog make this show must see UA-cam, lol.
Bob Myers is a sorry GM for running away from the mess he created. Everyone is overpaid except Steph so to keep his resume clean of “4 championships in 8 years” because he knows last year’s championship was most likely the last Warriors championship in the new era of Management rules. “Stepping away to spend more time with family” 💀 bro forgot he was management and thought he was a player on the road for 8 months of the year 😂 💀🤡
Y'all should be talking about why Bob Meyers left
Myers took a shot at KD during a championship parade
Obviously the best example is Krause I’m Chicago, he didn’t draft MJ but made great moves after the fact. Still a hall of famer but didn’t draft the key cog.
More debates pleeease
Way too much credit lol, he didn’t teach steph or klay how to shoot, and it was a no brainer to sign kd like what
No matter what anyone says, bob is the reason that we won the championship last year. Kerr was playing anthony lamb and ty jerome over kuminga and moody all season long.
that's one year though.
I don’t agree with mad dog, but the “they have Steph” was good
Them: Pineapples deserve to be on pizza
Doggy: 🗣🗣THATS ABSURD!!!!!!
The other key thing is getting supporting cast. Man management too. Weaknesses or not superstrength: draft picks
jerry west was the one that stopped the klay thompson trade and it wasn’t for towns it was for kevin love
JJ is trying to enlightened Madd Dogg this is not the 50s' or The 60s' 😂😆😂😆 .... 💯☝🏿😁
It was nice to get a Shaun Livingston shoutout in this clip. The midrange God himself 🔥
Consistency is not measured by what happened yesterday, it's the wins going forward. Bob Myers did an excellent job & he deserves the inclusion on the list of people who contributed to the success & dynasty of GSW
Everytime Molly says anything I’m annoyed. Her voice, timing and comments just never fit the room.
Mad Dogg was holding his own, but I think JJ finished with a subtle but very important point… “he couldn’t get great/high picks because they were constantly WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS”😂 why did they win championships, because of all the subtle moves that he made that JJ pointed out
We gonna ignore the fact that Myers was the one that got Wiggins with the ridiculous contract and gave Poole the insane extension?
Mad Dog is right all he did was sign Kevin Durant lmao. What has he done besides that? Mark Jackson was the one that told the front office to keep steph and Klay. he had nothing to do with Bob Meyers at all.
What about Dray? Barnes? Iggy? Y’all forgetting all the dudes outside of the core that helped win those chips.
@@bee1979 all mediocre players. Any GM can make trades for role players.. doesn’t make him a good GM. He had nothing to do with Steph Or Klay. all he really did was sign KD.. nothing else really..
When management starts to think they're the reason for the team success and not the actual players on the court they need to go.
What is being overlooked is, Bob Myers is responsible for putting together the Warriors' bench players each year. As Shaq said, "It's the others that wins championships". Myers has made the art of finding gems cheap look so incredibly easy that it is consistently overlooked.
I think that Bob is getting too much credit but that does not mean he deserves no credit. He made some bad mistakes down the line however including the Jordan Poole extension so I think his time had come. And lets not forget he did not draft Curry, Klay, or Dray.
He drafred green. In 2012
I have to admit I never agree with mad dog, but yesterday with his take on jalen brown and today on Myers’s his 110% right
Bob Myers deserves his credit but drafting isn’t the end all be all either. Your scout team does most of that work.
To be fair yes, Bob deserves credit but as a GM if money is not an issue bc your owner is electing to spend the most money in order to win than yes your job is that much easier. He’s made great turn around trades like Wiggins but we can’t refute the fact that Lacob was willing to spend any amount to win.
JJ Reddick for ESPN top 🔝 Anchor ..... 💯💯💯
all of bob myers's picks are turning out to be busts plus he almost traded Klay. doggie is cooking.
Nah bro Mad dog get em here 😂💀
1:11, Mad Dog Russo is GOLD!💯🤣😂No one before or since like him💯
Bob myers played a role in getting KD and KD leaving
Mad Dog and JJ at the same time against each other is some of the best tv.
